NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! Not listed anywhere! Beautiful view - Loved the little private area of beach to share with just the couple of condo’s - disappointed the “extras” that it said would be there were not. Nothing for snorkeling, only 1 beach chair. Fishing pole was there, but was broke, so couldn’t be used. Cleanliness was not there * Light switches don’t stay on * Delta flight federal disabling on plane eight doors on each side that can be used as small slides that can be used for them to avoid what is I wanna send it to lovesome windows don’t seal & screens are ripped so we had some very unwanted bugs (2 cockroaches) For how long we have saved and looked forward to this - it was a huge let down & the only response we got (after I messaged a 2nd time) was we could buy a chair & he would pay us back & sorry for the cockroaches we could take a bottle of his wine in which I replied “we are not wine drinkers” and then he was never to be heard from again …Well the view was beautiful… I would not recommend it, nor am I happy with the amount of money we paid, all the things I read and was told 1st hand from the owners and what we just experienced! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! And beware they have other places in this same condo area (not sure of their conditions)

Micheal’s place was incredible! Waking up to ocean sounds and walking straight out to private beach was very special. Micheal was very accommodating and easy to work with!Location was amazing and can’t beat having private beach access. Pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Fun to see sea turtles on the beach!A very memorable trip and this condo was perfect!

Breathtaking view with just 10 steps to the ocean edge!

I will never be able to stay anywhere else with such fine accommodations and perfect location. Being able to watch the sunset from the couch or the bed or the patio or just a few steps to the shoreline. Incredible is all I can say! The beach was right here and there are turtles coming up daily – what a sight! Or if chily, I would’ve sat in the hot tub and watch the sunset– maybe next time.

Great location and great hosts

The location , the unit itself and the beach out front are exactly as described . The owners and hosts were fantastic and made everything easy as can be . Can't say enough good things about them . Overall it's a great spot.

Amazing home!

My family of five stayed in this condo for four nights and had a fabulous time! Clean, spacious, bright and right on a beautiful beach with turtles everyday! Prompt communication with the host as well…highly recommend this property next time you are lucky enough to be in Maui ☀️

Paradise Perfection Awaits!

Our stay at Hale Mahina was our best Maui adventure EVER! The entire family loved staying here and Michael (unit owner) could not have made it easier! Great communication, which made booking a breeze! This large condo is by far the finest unit on the entire property.. we know because we e rented many over the years! A large downstairs unit that looks out at the beautiful Pacific and better yet, you simply walk out your door and enjoy! My wife and I are planning another visit here in August and will do another visit with the entire family next year! A definite 5 star stay! Thank you Michael for sharing your special paradise! Mahalo! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall it was the best place we have ever stayed on West Maui

If you're looking for a West Maui getaway, this one is worth every penny of your money & every second of your time. I can't wait to go back again. This was our favorite! We have stayed in 5 vrbo’s on Maui and while they were all exceptional, this one took the win. Nice grassy lounge area, small beach away from the crowds, lots of turtles, central location to various beaches for our morning snorkeling trips. Washer/dryer in unit. During whale season, it is incredible with whales to see outside your master bedroom. The condo is so nicely remodeled, it's very clean, comfortable and roomy. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of and then some. The master king size bed was so comfortable, as well as the queen bed guest room. Kids on the couch or couch bed was easy. Larry the manager keeps the grounds of Hale Mahina so clean and well kept! It IS right on the Ocean, a real walkout and just incredible views. The pool & hot tub are clean and just steps away from a private beach that is just beyond that. Turtles come everyday onto the beach. There's also a reef to the right of the condo where you can see so many different types of sea life. The condo is located within walking distance to groceries, bad ass coffee, restaurants and food trucks and more! Almost did not want to review because I was afraid it would always be booked. Overall it was the best place I have ever stayed on maui.

If you're looking for a getaway, this one is worth every penny of your money & every second of your time. I can't wait to go back again. This was our favorite! Memories that will last a lifetime

We had an amazing and tranquil stay at this oceanfront condo. Our kids are already asking to go back. When you stay here, you're close to key activities but still feel tucked away in your own little paradise. Our family enjoyed hearing the crashing waves, seeing the Green sea turtles basking on the sand and playing cards in the living room with an amazing view right out to the ocean. We made family memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend this condo. Michael was very fast to respond to questions and the entire process was smooth. Thank you!

Inaccurate description in listing.

When we booked about 5 months before our vacation this was listed as a 3 bedroom condo. But it was a 2 bedroom and pullout sofa in common area. I contacted the owner upon arrival who told me it was 3 beds. I sent a screenshot of the listing showing “3 Bedrooms” but never received any further response. Really inconvenient. Otherwise good location, nice view, large kitchen but don’t recommend unless Only 2 bedrooms needed. Paid a premium and didn’t mind because thought paying for 3 bedrooms.

Location, location, location!

It was great living at the beach for a week! Location is phenomenal, with the ocean literally a few steps from the patio, and turtles everywhere. The other guests/residents were friendly. The family atmosphere was great! The condo is lovely and spacious. Our stay would have been more comfortable had there been more portable fans (hard to get ready to go out to dinner during the hottest part of the day, and the first night was very warm), and more comfortable seating in the living room.

Amazing, relaxing get away.

Location is stunning. Was a little surprised thought it meant 3 bedrooms, but we made it work. Second room has no Wi-Fi if that’s important to your children. So much to do in this area, but having this private beach is amazing!

Great Location

A101 has a great view of sunsets, Molokai and, Lanai. This condo is very spacious and has everything you would want or need for a family vacation. Very clean. The floor plan allows for privacy from other family members but also has large common spaces. The pool was a hit and the beach in front, including the turtles! A strong contender for our next trip to Maui. Perfect location.

Wonderful Unit in Amazing Location

This unit is fabulous- amazing location with a walk-out directly to the ocean, spacious with room for a family, and in a complex with a great pool and hot tub. The unit was also kid friendly, with boogie boards and a pack n' play crib. The host even coordinated the delivery of the rest of the baby rental equipment we rented, as well as sharing a code that got us a car rental discount. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend, and a great stay!

Unique Special Get Away

We feel very blessed to have found this amazing property. Private beach, turtle sanctuary and breath taking views made for an amazing vacation. We felt relaxed and rejuvenated from our time there. Would highly recommend this property.

Perfect!

We loved our time here! Everything is clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful and in such a great location. We saw turtles everyday and we even saw whales right from our chairs. We truly enjoyed every minute of our time here. I would highly recommend this condo. Thank you for sharing it!

Fantastic experience and answer to prayers. Property is beautiful and exactly as pictures describe! Michael, the owner, was great and Larry the property manager was excellent and so helpful. Grateful we stayed here and would definitely recommend choosing this property for your great vacation experience.

Location, Location, Location

Amazing location right on the ocean....nothing like walking off your private lanai and being steps from the ocean! In addition, this unit is at the end of the condo building so it is private on one side.... seriously felt like our own piece of paradise during the stay! We rented surf boards for the week and it was so convenient to jump in anytime we wanted. And we loved sitting out to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails feet from the water! Large enough for 6 adults but the mattress in the pull-out coach was not the most comfortable (only negative about the entire place),...but we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The access to the beach/water was ideal.....no trips down hallways, elevators, lobbies to get to the water.
