What a delightful place! The place is cosy, full of light, and what incredible views! You are steps from the beautiful shops and restaurants in Honfleur, but in a peaceful spot. The owner is incredible. So kind and she even left treats for us in the fridge. Could not recommend this place any higher!

Location, location, location

Our requirements were specific: parking, a nice view out the apartment, and a central location. It was wonderful to get up each morning to a view of the Vieux Bassin, and just out the door were all the dining options along the waterfront. Bakeries, a fishmonger, a traiteur and a Carrefour were all an easy walk. We didn't actually cook in the kitchen because the nearby stores offered so much in the way of prepared meals, we often just heated up some ready-made food or had a charcuterie dinner! Our hostess Natalie is friendly and helpful, her gallery/shop is on the street level of the building so she is frequently available. Only one warning, which is that it's an old building, and although the apartment is refurbished, the stairs are narrow and circular, like climbing the stairs in a tower. We would be happy to stay here again should we return to Honfleur.

Couldn’t ask for more!

Incredible view. Wonderful and helpful host. Great town to explore, everything walkable. Parking secure. Quiet for sleeping at night. Great market and restaurants. Natalie has the kitchen well equipped for cooking in. We stayed one week and went on day trips all over that area of Normandy. We highly recommend this apartment!

Mind the stairs

We had a lovely time in Honfleur. The apartment was great and Nathalie was very friendly and helpful. My only gripe is with the accuracy of the description of the flat, particularly the stair access. These are steep and narrow, all 43 of them, and this should be made clear to potential customers. Nathalie did make us aware that the stairs were a challenge, but this was after the holiday had been booked and paid. My wife and I managed the stairs ok, but they would be a serious challenge for anyone with mobility issues who had booked the apartment without being made aware of this issue.

Best spot in town

The view from this apartment is superb. Overlooking the harbour and within walking distance to everything. The place is well equipped, spotlessly clean and Nathalie is a very kind and responsive owner. The ‘gifts’ of wine, cheese and all the other ‘goodies’ upon arrival were much appreciated. The stairs are a challenge but just just get organised and do it bit by bit. To be recommended.

Emplacement et accueil hors pair

Délicieux petit nid d’amour, vue superbe sur le bassin du port d’Honfleur, étage élevé (à hauteur de mouettes et hirondelles) donc au calme. L’appartement est très bien équipé dans les moindres détails. Tout aussi remarquable, l’accueil très attentionné de la propriétaire, savoureux petits présents de bienvenue compris.

Once you have climbed the 42 narrow, winding stairs, the view of the old port is superb. We could have watched the passing scene all day. Adequately furnished; kitchen equipment adequate. Bed comfortable but carpet a bit tired. Very quiet and private. New windows. Owner had left lovely Normandy treats in the fridge. You can walk everywhere. Many shops and restaurants to explore in this fascinating old town. Parking was about 5 minutes walk and was indoor and secure. Flat is not for octogenarians (stairs)!

Lovely spot in Honfleur

We had a wonderful stay in Honfleur! Nathalie was a very gracious host ensuring that we were comfortable our entire stay. The location and view are picture perfect. This was a great spot for us to take day trips to explore Normandy. And Honfleur itself is lovely. Thank you so much!

Joli nid sur le port d’Honfleur

Le sport, ce sont les escaliers pour acceder à ce joli appartement.. mais après l’effort, le réconfort car rénové avec beaucoup de goût (loin des gîtes habituels tous meublés idem) idéalement plaçé sur le port, vue imprenable et accès à tout à pieds car sur place.. assez haut pour ne pas avoir les nuisances.. justement..

A bird’s eye view of Honfleur

Located in the heart of Honfleur’s busy basin area the apartment can be noisy from outdoor diners at night and street sweepers in the morning, but the harbor breezes flow through the apartment and the view is fantastic. The windows are pretty sound proof when closed. The host went out of her way to ensure we were cool during the heat wave and was generous and in touch regularly. The apartment has all you could wish for and is stocked with every possible amenity. A terrific jumping off place to explore Lower Normandy (highly recommend Rouen and surrounding small scenic towns) or just hang out and enjoy Honfleur itself!

A compact little flat in a special town. The changing light over the harbour was endlessly changing and beautiful . It was very kind of Nathalie to contact us about the fishing boats selling their fresh catch . Coquilles Saint Jacques home cooked was fantastic.

Fantastic Hon Fleur experience!

Nathalie was fantastic! The flat was perfect! The lication could nit have been better- the cozy well-equipped flat provided everything we would have wanted AND more! WOW!!! No better view of Honfluer. Location,location, location!

This was a charming flat with an incredible view. Nathalie could not have been more accommodating. She left us a nice welcome gift of cider, ice cream from the downstairs glace, and pastries. During our stay she gave us suggestions for restaurants, local shops, and Normandy excursions. The secure parking was a major plus and only a short walk from the flat. We had a wonderful time. Merci, Nathalie!

Bon accueil renforcé par de sympathiques attentions (viennoiseries, bouquet de fleurs fraîches ...) Emplacement idéal en plein coeur de ville et de ses restaurants avec une vue panoramique extraordinaire et unique sur l'ensemble du port On ne se lasse pas de prendre ainsi ses repas "sur le port" ou de regarder par la fenêtre Appartement clair et très bien isolé du bruit avec nombreux jolis tableaux en déco La formule tout compris incluant linge et ménage évite les mauvaises surprises que l'on a pu rencontrer ailleurs ! Le parking proposé est un véritable emplacement dans un vrai parking fermé et couvert tout proche... un vrai plus Cette semaine en mai fut un régal
