Quirky Kinda Fun

This property was so much fun. They had games, kayaks, a brand new grill, even the dishwasher was unique. Even after seeing all the pictures the house was different than expected. I don't want to give spoilers because some of them are just fun to react to. I would say if you want to use the fire pit there make sure that you have access to firewood and you will really enjoy that experience as well. Overall our stay was comfortable and had plenty amenities especially being close to Crysta River. We had as much fun at the house as we did abroad. Of course it was spring time, I wonder what it would've been like in the summer but either way our stay was perfect. The host were very responsive. Don't hesitate to stay there.

Will stay again! Everything we needed

We loved this house. Perfect location for scalloping and springs. Boat ramp is one street over to launch and house is conveniently on a canal with dock. House was clean and fully stocked. The ice maker, outdoor shower and the hot tub were our favorite parts!

Very nice, clean and comfortable. Met Dani and her son at check in. Dani went over and above trying to make everything perfect. Her son shared his knowledge of the best Scalloping areas and made our first attempt a great success. Thank you both, would defiantly stay at the home again.

Great family getaway

Our family enjoyed a 5 day stay at this lovely house. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. The owners patiently answered our questions and promptly answered any questions. It is well located in Old Homosassa nearby all of our planned activities. Our family loved having the use of the kayaks and the hot tub. We highly recommend this house if you’re planning on staying in the area.

Perfect little vacation house on the water.

The house was exactly like it was described. Dock was perfect for our 2 boats. Outside shower was great. Ice machine was extremely nice along with bait freezer! Hot tub was very nice! The Creek was accessible to the gulf on all tides but need to learn the creek before running on low tide. we really enjoyed are stay!

The home was amazing. We loved the neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. To say we would be booking this again goes without saying. It was just out of the way from the main springs but was great once we were done and came home it was quiet and peaceful.

Homosassa Memorial day getaway

We had a great time enjoying the river in the surrounding area attractions. Food was great at Florida cracker. But I must say best meal was caught in the Homosassa river. We had mangrove snapper redfish, and spotted sea trout. Great times.

Trip review

House was clean. Really quiet neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby. My husband caught several catfish off the dock. I wouldn't advise launching kayak at the house. It's hard to get in/out of. The boat ramp is right around the corner. They had plenty of towels, etc. I would bring beach towels if u want something bigger. Outdoor shower had hot water and was really nice. You may want to bring a travel clock and night lights for the bathroom. Take bug spray! I bought the organic no deet kind and they just laughed at that. I went to Walmart and bought the industrial kind. I only went in hot tub once and it was great. There is a nice dog park not too far if you are bringing your dog.

3 Day Stay

The property was just as described. It was very clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We really appreciated the Keurig and how well it was stocked. The layout of the house is unique, reminded us of an old Florida home. The beds were extremely comfortable, best night sleep we all had in a long time. We loved the off the beaten path loacation and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay at this beautiful home again.

Relaxing vacation in Old Homosassa

Wonderful place to stay on a canal that is a very short kayak paddle to miles of marsh kayaking. House is very clean and has everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Many new updates in the house. Hot tub on enclosed porch was very popular with our group. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Very quiet neighborhood. Many things to see and do in the Homosassa and Crystal River area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to kick back and relax!

We were so blessed

Unfortunately this area was part of hurricane idalia and because of that we were moved across the street so I would like to tell you about River Garden Absolutely wonderful inside and out. The house was clean and way accommodating and the outside was everything you would ever want for a vacation in Florida We made friends with Charlie the Heron as well as the neighborhood River Otter We would definitely visit this paradise again Thank you Dani great job

Perfect Stay in Old Homosassa!

My family of four (2 teen boys) enjoyed our 4 night stay. House had everything we needed with room to spread out. Located in a more full-time residential area but nothing is more than a couple minutes away. We rented a golf cart which made parking easier in town (Sunset Carts delivered to the rental). The weather was uncooperative on one of our days, so we enjoyed fishing from the dock to entertain ourselves. We ate all meals but breakfast at restaurants, though the kitchen was stocked with all needed supplies and there was a grill outside. Ice machine in back yard was hugely helpful. We recommend this property and hope to get back on another occasion.
