Mom's Manatee House did not disappoint! This was the third year we've stayed there, and once again we enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is clean, comfortable, stocked with everything you might need, and having the heated pool is a huge plus. We will stay there again in 2027!

Another wonderful 2-month stay in Homosassa!

We once again stayed at Mom's Manatee House for 2 months this winter. The house was well-maintained over the last year so it was just as nice as when we left it in 2024. It is a spacious house so that our family and friends could gather in comfort. The host made sure that everything needed was provided. We loved the heated pool, even though the weather was a little cooler this year than last! As usual, any issues we encountered during our stay were handled quickly and efficiently. We are looking forward to staying again in 2026!

Fun vacation

The pool was very cold when we arrived. Once we got the heat up our four boys had a blast. The great room was nice and large to accommodate everyone. The master bedroom and bath room was also very nice.

Multi-family getaway

It was absolutely beautiful! The house is a lot larger than the pics show. The pool was a huge hit with the kids & the adults. We had 6 adults and 5 kids and we had plenty of room for us all! There were plenty of activities for the kids inside and outside. The kids enjoyed the residential turtles on the property. We will most definitely book this house again!!! The only downside was "NO outside pool lights for swimming after dark. I would give this house a 10 out of 10! Beautiful home!

Will book again - great place!

We stayed 4 nights for a scalloping weekend. House is clean and very comfortable and the hosts are very accommodating. 15 minutes drive to the Plantation marina and less than 10 minutes to Homosassa marina. Restaurants and Publix are really close so the location is great too. We had 7 people and were all very comfortable. The pool is well kept as is everything. The BBQ works great too. All in all, a great place and when we come to the area again, we plan to return.

Perfect Week

The house was back in a wooded neighborhood. Not really in sight of many other homes. Quiet. Clean. Roomy. Had games to play. Pool was such a blessing to just chill in whenever. About as centrally located as we could get to all the places we wanted to go. (Scuba diving/snorkeling, paddleboard & Clearwater aquarium)

Great vacation

Country setting with lots of privacy, played music by the pool, cooked out on the grill including fish we caught. Enjoyed the pool. Big yard, played ball, corn hole. Seen the resident gopher turtle “Dusty” several times. Went to the beach, trail walking and lots of shopping places. Third year staying at the location. Will be back next year.

Spring Break...belated Merry Christmas!

We had an awsome week. The house was clean, comfortable, very well supplied, and convenient to area attractions. The pool was an added bonus and used many, many times. We enjoyed the area attractions and restaurants, but also quiet times doing puzzles and playing in the yard. We would love to have a return visit😊

Nice stay!

It was a nice stay. Description was accurate. Kids really enjoyed pool. It was a short drive to Florida Cracker Monkey Bar and many other local hot spots. We felt the house could have been a little cleaner since we pay a cleaning fee but overall it was nice. Ladies seem to notice overlooked areas more than others. There were a lot of extra towels, beach toys, floats etc. Kitchen was fully stocked with whatever we needed

Great 2 month stay!

We stayed at Mom's Manatee House for 2 months this winter. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to have a place to themselves or gather together as a family. Everything we needed was provided. The heated pool was a wonderful plus! Any issues we encountered during our stay were handled quickly and efficiently. We would definitely stay again!

It's our home away from home!

This is the third year we've stayed at this house. From the first time we stepped in the door, it felt like home and still does! We love the quiet and privacy of the neighborhood, and being close to most anything we want or need. Big thanks to the owners and manager for keeping us posted on the condition of the area after Idalia!! Vacation came off without a hitch! And the family was unanimous... we want to return next year!

Ample room

Nice country setting with lots of room for the 11 of us. We had a great time and made so many family memories. They had all the amenities we needed. Loved the pool. Scalloping wasn’t that great but the springs were awesome. Kids played in the springs and we came back and enjoyed the pool. Thanks for letting us stay at your home.

Great Getaway

My family and I had a Great Stay at the Hideaway in Homosassa, Florida. The accomodations were Perfect! Everything was Great, Clean, Well taken care of! Anything you could need was there! I brought my own Blow Dryer but there was one there! Games were abundant for the Grandchildren, the pool was a hit! Will definately visit again! The Owner and Caretaker were on Spot! You definately need to see this Jewel of a Home!

Centrally located

Centrally located to several great day adventures. Air conditioning was noted to not be working on Thursday after arriving Wednesday night. Was fixed after our departure the following Wednesday. Concerns with cleanliness, lack of cleaning supplies and toiletries were addressed with homeowner who was addressing with 3rd party cleaning company to resolve future issues.

Perfect place for a family Vacay!!

This is our 2nd year staying here! There is everything you need to have a perfect family get away! Close to Crystal River we always rent a boat on day and then spend our rest of the time in the pool

Hidden Get-Away

Upon arrival, the home had not been cleaned but after a few phone calls people were sent to remedy the situation. the owner was was quick to respond along with the property manager. The home was very comfortable with lots of space and the pool well taken care of. There was some confusion on how to get the main tv to work on the local channels but overall a very nice home. The location was a little challenging to find and took me about a week to figure out if I was driving to and from all the fun things there are to do in Homosassa.

Clean, Convenient, and Fun

The screened in pool area was the gem of this house, but everything about it was clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and easy to deal with. If you are arriving after dark, be careful. The road took a turn we couldn't see because the road was covered in sand and we were stuck in sand for a few minutes, but ultimately able to get out without much problem. Overall a fun and relaxing short vacation with friends.
