We absolutely loved staying here. Lovely cottage. Very clean and organized with everything you could need. It is very close proximity to local restaurants and the river/ marina. We enjoyed having the bicycles and kayaks available to use.We felt completely at home. Shannon was an awesome host and very easy and pleasant to communicate with.I would definitely recommend this place and would come back again next time we visit Homosassa.

Southern charm!

Our family loved our stay at your this home. WOW! Someone put lots of forethought supplying so many things for the staying travelers! We never wanted for anything here with EXTRA supplies and the house was so clean...beds soooo comfortable. We bood a fishing charter with Captain Duane Tibbets in Homassa Springs and caught great fish that he fileted for us to cook and he was an excellent boat captain. The small canal in the backyard was so enjoyabled to look at on the porch or from inside dining room. The host was amazing and so friendly! Centrally located home to many fun places to go and so close to the marina! We would definitely LOVE to come back again!!!!

The place was amazing and the owner very easy to get in touch with. She was very helpful and friendly. The cute little house had everything we needed and more! I would like to go back next year! The weather was perfect this trip! I will use Vrbo again, this was my first time.

Truly a Home Away From Home

Our second stay at the property since we loved it so much, this time for our wedding in the area! Shannon was beyond accommodating and the home is always so beautifullt decorated. It gave my new spouse and I such comfort being able to stay at this cozy cottage. Can't recommend enough!

Beautiful!

Cozy home in excellent location in Old Homosassa. Super clean and well stocked. Especially enjoyed the light show on the front yard oak tree! Spent a lot of time at porch bar watching mullet jumping and heron wading. Went to the Homosassa Wildlife State Park, ate at the Freezer and took a river ride on the Island Girl Cruise… highly recommend all. We had a wonderful time! Hope y’all can keep this beautiful place a secret ❣️

Wonderful stay!

Do not hesitate to book this home! We rented this home for Easter weekend, and had a wonderful stay. The home was immaculate. It is so nicely decorated as well and had absolutely everything we needed. Host Shannon was so good about communicating and check-in was seamless. The home is in very close walking distance to the water and several restaurants.

Perfect getaway

We had such an amazing time staying at your canal house. It was decorated so beautifully. We stayed around Easter and it was just perfect.The Easter basket and plastic eggs that was left for us was so sweet and the egg hunt that was already set up tor us was the cherry on top. The house itself was very well maintained. Very clean and the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The kitchen and bathrooms were very stocked with everything you might need. The kayaks and bikes were an added bonus and was used a lot while we was there. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were so sweet snd helpful. Over all we LOVED this house and cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful Place to Stay

This property is wonderful, everything is self-explanatory and helpful booklet is on counter for you. Wonderfully decorated and comfortable. Owners have thought of everything to make your stay great and respond to you promptly with any questions while you are there!! Loved the area and enjoyed the kayaks. Old Mill Tavern & The Freezer are great places to eat!

Owners were very accommodating, and very easy to reach and communicate with . House was very clean close to the attractions we were coming to see. I’m also glad they had a box fan at the property so we did not have to bring ours.

Amazing month in a perfect home

My husband and I stayed for a month in this beautiful home away from home. We had high hopes, having driven by the property while visiting Homosassa last year, and it was even better than we imagined. Location, location, location! The house is in the perfect spot in Old Homosassa, walking distance to favorites (Florida Cracker Kitchen, the Freezer, the Shed/McCrae's) and right on a canal leading you to the all the wonderful highlights of the Homosassa River. Such a treat to be able to walk to lunch, dinner, a drink, music. The wonderful surprise was the wildlife in the backyard of this house -- daily visits by great blue heron and great egret. And a manatee swam up the seawall, nibbling awhile, raising its head. It was an amazing experience! Shannon was the perfect host! So responsive, and so welcoming. The TLC was evident everywhere in the home, and we loved our stay. We cannot wait to return next year! The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated.
