"We had a wonderful week at the Log Lodge. This property is very unique and has a lot of history in the house itself and also in the carefully curated collection of art and other fun antique artifacts that the owners have decorated it with. The property itself is larger than most Tahoe area lots, and the dog-friendly policy was wonderful for us. There is even a fenced-in dog area behind the house that kept our furry loved ones safe and happy. The property managers are very friendly, cooperative...

"PRO: Walkable from both the lake & ski resort. Bonus free breakfast. Breakfast was delish. Free parking so you don't have to pay $5 to park in Homewood. Has a nice dock/patio in the back for lake access. Convenience store is also walkable. Nice receptionist/workers. Clean & well-stocked rooms. Has an abundance of pillows even inside the closet. Has fridge & TV."

"great cabin in an excellent location. Very easy access and very detailed and helpful instruction book. Very nice to have A/C. The backyard was big and fenced for the dog. The owners are obviously upgrading as there were new windows, appliances and other improvements. There is still some to do, like the carpets , but it is a very comfortable cabin."

"The property worked well for 2 couples with plenty of space if you are traveling with more people. The kitchen is well stocked. Starr does a wonderful job of responding promptly to all questions. We were traveling with 2 Labradors and they felt right at home. I would definitely stay at this cabin again."

"We loved this cabin. Quiet neighborhood in the woods. Walkable (1 mile?) to wonderful Chambers Landing pool and private beach which also has a grill. Great lay-out of the cabin for my 3 grown children and granddaughter. Comfortable mattresses with plenty of linens and beach towels, even small beach chairs included.
