Ideal Vacation House

Beautiful home with great amenities!

The property was beautiful. We have stayed within the chambers landing community before and love the additional amenities that comes with it. We would definitely stay again! The house was well equipped and cozy!

Homewood - Lake Tahoe

Overall a lovely location! We loved driving along the lake every morning and evening coming and leaving the slopes. Some issues with heat and cleanliness but overall a nice stay.

West side Best side!

Chambers Delight was the perfect base camp for our Tahoe family getaway! With 50 plus years vacationing on the west side of Tahoe we felt right at home in Chambers. All our favorite hikes easily accessible and who doesn’t love the beach and pier at Chambers. Cabin slept 7 of us comfortably and had all the comforts of home! Would definitely stay here again.

Super nice hosie

We stayed here in February with another family for ski week. The house was great. Open and comfortable. Great kitchen with all the tools. Location is very nice and quiet and just a short walk to the lake. Was very pleased with this rental.

Great Family Getaway

My husband and rented this cabin and took one of our two sons, his wife two kids 4 years and 18 mos so we could all enjoy some fun in the snow and also the beauty of Lake Tahoe in the winter. The cabin location was excellent, easy to find and we built some great sled runs for the kids and adults alike. The cabin itself was cozy with a fairly updated kitchen and some nice log light fixtures, but the layout isn't idealPoop With several bedlwith

Loved this space for our family!

Better than pics, very popular so do not expect to check in before 4.shower in master not working but quickly resolved! Would highly recommend.

Tahoe Experience

This stay was to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. I booked the place since it said it could accommodate 8 people. However, when I received the rental agreement it said the max amount of people was 5. Luckily my sister and her daughters could not make the trip but that was my original plan. We enjoyed the house and neighborhood but the back patio was full of filth and looked liked it had not been swept in months. The BBQ was also disgusting and we had to clean. We swept the mess so we could enjoy the back patio where we spent a lot of time. I understand there are rules but the constant reminders of the quiet hours was a bit annoying.

Delightful and convenient

We had a wonderful start at Chambers Delight. The location was perfect for us as we didn’t prefer to be in the hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. The peaceful surrounds provided easy drivable access to hiking, fishing and to a beach by the lake. We didn’t make it to the private beach as we couldn’t find parking and didn’t want to wait for the bus. Lots of cute, smaller restaurants and markets nearby. Or treat was having a small bear wander through while I was reading on the deck (he didn’t stick around). The house itself was great for our party of 4, but could accommodate a few more. All the supplies we needed for grilling on the deck and relaxing for a few nights in.

Chambers Delight

Out of propane for bbq and fire pit for first few days of week. BBQ did not work and was not useable even after propane was delivered. Was told by management co. that parking boat trailer on road shoulder was not acceptable to Placer Co Sheriff. Spoke with deputy sheriff in person at property and they were not aware of this restriction. House needs an investment in drinking glasses and cookware. Both marginal.

Family weekend in Chambers

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was good, walking distance to the lake. Property itself would show better if some of the furniture was removed and decluttered but it was clean. Dishwasher did not do a good job cleaning dishes and gas grill only had 2 out of the 3 burners working after having a hard time lighting it. The downstairs did not get warm for the guest occupying those 2 bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Management responded quickly.

The home is clean, updated and fully stocked with plenty of towels, extra linens, and kitchen items. All of us thought the beds were probably the most comfortable beds we've had in a rental! We took our young girls, ages 8 and 5 to ski at Homewood Resort, only a couple blocks away. We highly recommend this resort for families, our instructor was phenomenal! It wasn't overly crowded, no long lines when getting our gear, food or lifts. It snowed all weekend for us so when we weren't skiing we were playing in the yard building snowmen and sledding. We didn't see any bears, but appreciated the electric fence just in case! The fireplace in the living room was a powerhouse! Loved how warm it kept us while we played games and puzzles in the evenings. Management had great communication throughout our stay and check in/out was a breeze!
