"The location of the hotel, the standard room we were given were just right for us. We particularly liked the ceiling fan which provided much needed cooling. So much better eco friendly than air-conditioning. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly and the food was excellently cooked with plenty to choose from. Go hungry to do the food justice. Drinks and food prices offer good value. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we'd heartily recommend a stay there to anyone."

"Staff and food were very good but stay was let down by a few niggles. I had booked a table for dinner but there was no record of it when I arrived. I had also asked for a room with a walk in shower but didn't get it. The biscuits on the tea tray were the smallest pieces of shortbread I have seen made worse by having no biscuits at all on my second night. "On bus route to Holy Island. Bus times subject to tides. Close to A1. Rooms are in separate annex next to Inn so quiet. Good car park. Food well prepared and presented with interesting seasonal menu. Good variety of choices for breakfast including excellent veggie breakfast. Recommend."
