Picturesque Farmstay

We absolutely loved our stay on the farm. We wanted to stay out of Kona but close to popular snorkelling beaches and Manta viewing. The view was outstanding and we spent most of our time when home out on the lanai. The rooms were perfectly arranged for our group of 6 and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need and we used it for all of our meals. There was even an ice maker. We got to tour the farm and learn about the coffee and fruit trees, and sampled them both. They supplied everything we needed for a beach visit. I definitely recommend this spot!

Perfect vacation stay

Everyone in our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and rooomy enough for us to have space to relax. The grounds and the view are incredible. It may have spoiled me from ever staying in a hotel again! The kids especially enjoyed seeing the chickens and playing with Kaya. Actually, the adults enjoyed her too!

This is a plantation-style house on a working coffee farm. The higher elevation ensures cool evenings away from the more warm and humid coastal options. The covered lanai offers great sunset views!

Exceptional Bungalow!

The location is spectacular! Once you arrive and walk up the stairs to the lanai, you see the ocean and the beautiful view that’s all yours. There is a comfortable sectional and two rocking chairs plus an extremely large table for dining. We loved the propane firepit as well! This is all before you even walk in the house. The kitchen was extremely well equipped not to mention the welcome basket with fresh coffee beans the biggest avocados we’ve ever seen, varietal citrus, and more! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious! It was really nice having the washer and dryer to help minimize the clothes we needed to bring. All of the places we visited on the big island were great, but we always look forward to coming home to our retreat. Our hosts were amazing! It’s a must book!

Paradise with a view.

We were able to have an extended stay here. This is a wonderful property with an amazing view from the lanai. Great location with ease to get the town or to beaches. The sounds of all the animals, from birds to frogs. Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the property. We look forward to returning to enjoy this tranquil retreat.

Outstanding Stay

We had an outstanding stay at Kona Coffee Farm! The place had an incredible view, was spotlessly clean and spacious enough for our group of 5 adults. The host was excellent - leaving us delicious fresh fruits in the kitchen upon check-in and gave us a fascinating tour of the property as well. The stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We can’t recommend this place enough!!

You cannot choose a more amazing location!

Everything about this place is magic - the location, the amenities and the authenticity are good places to start. At the very root of why there is such wonder and happiness found here is because the hosts (doggy included!) are incredible beings who have built a real piece of heaven founded on building community and bettering everyone's every day! Love LOVE LOOVE this place and I will forever treasure it and all the memories.

Special & exceptional!!!

We loved this Place. A unique and peaceful spot to hang if you want a break from the beach and crowds with everything you need to hit the beach. But it was the host, Larisa, that truly made this a favorite among the 100+ places we've rented over the years. SHE IS AWESOME!!

Awesome home right on a coffee farm!

The location of the home was fantastic! Snorkeling, swimming, food trucks, great coffee, and awesome bars minutes from here. Little touches helped a ton like having swim towels, beach chairs and boogie boards was just one less thing we needed to figure out. It fit 4 adults and 3 kids pretty well. There are 4 bunk beds in one room which was great for the kids. You must see if the hosts can give you a farm tour. They had great stories, tons of info about the plants/fruit/coffee, and some fun history too! That was the highlight for us. Bring some bug spray if you’re hiking around their property- but up on the porch the bugs didn’t want to come up that high so all good! The home is on a side of a mountain so be prepared for rougher terrain around the property and a small incline from the parking area to the roughly 10 steps up to the home itself. Overall a great home with great hosts!

Private Forest Retreat

Beautiful, serene and wild private coffee farm cottage was the perfect base camp for our family and the Island exploring we accomplished. The hosts were so friendly, kind and accommodating.

Great spot

Beautiful home!! It was perfect for our group of 8. The lanai was the spot to be- the views were breathtaking and sunset was perfect! Make sure you have what you need before you get there as far as drinks etc because you are tucked away. The host was sweet and you didn’t even know he was there. They had amenities for the beach, laundry etc. Highly recommend!!

Best Birthday Trip Ever!

Best spot in Kona!

Great house, beautiful views, close to everything you want to do in Kona. And the farm itself — amazing. The house is so comfortable and clean. Every single thing worked perfectly! The lanai was worth devoting a whole day to! We wandered around the farm with a cup of the wonderful coffee in hand. This place is a retreat in so many ways but also completely central to everything Kona has to offer. Larisa’s suggestions were excellent and we followed lots of them. We went in June, Family of 4 with 2 teens, 19 and 15.

THIS is the Place!

My husband and I stay at several short term rentals every year. THIS is by far our best guest experience (and we’ve had many great stays at many locations over the years )! The home was outfitted with absolutely everything we needed and then some. What the kitchen lacked in size, it made up for by having literally any appliance, pan, flatware, silverware, and pantry staple we could have wanted. The bathrooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The beds were comfy with pillows to accommodate every preference. There were ample towels and linens for a long stay. That’s just the basics but what really sets this place apart is the view! We spent so much time on the lanai watching the boats, the birds/wildlife, and the sunsets; sharing a meal; and just relaxing. Add to that a wonderful handpicked bouquet of flowers from the farm and a welcome basket of fresh goodies like avocados, mango, pineapple, and macadamia nuts and you’ve got all the fixings of a perfect stay. The hosts are the definition of gracious, helpful, and fun. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here! Already looking forward to next time! Seriously though, do yourself a favor and book this place. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing experience!!

We had the best time at the property. It’s tucked away on a farm and is surrounded by beautiful 😍 scenery. The nearby coffee farms were super cool to check out. The property was fully stocked and made our beach day a great success.

Gorgeous property. We loved the cooler mountain temp. and the fact the owner is a dog lover made our stay very enjoyable.. However the best feature is Melissa the on site manager who looked after our every need Diana, Jack & Buddy
