Lovely little find! We had a lovely stay at Well Cottage Ideally situated in the centre of Holt and with easy access to other parts of north Norfolk Plenty of shops , bars and eateries in HoltThe cottage was very comfortable with a lovely large double bedroom, a single room and downstairs is a room with bunk beds Two shower rooms, one with a bath We did find though that the parking space was quite tight so really only suitable for small or mid sized car Ours wasn’t easy to park but there’s plenty of parking nearby We managed to park directly opposite on the restricted parking bay but we have a blue badge so no issues The only other thing to note is the stairs are quite steep so be careful with small children. Otherwise just perfect! David was quick to respond and very helpful I think we will be back again

Had a last minute short break in this very cosy cottage , has all you need for your time away , located near to Holt centre with ample restuarants and pubs nearby .all in all a great place to stay.

The cottage was lovey , clean central to everything. The only probs were booking it as I couldn’t down load ap on my tablet .And the parking space for the cottage it’s very small and if cars are parked in bays opposite it was very difficult to manoeuvre car through entrance into a very tight space . No problem if cars weren’t parked.

A very nice place to stay. Lots of nice local places to eat. Great shops, especially antique shops if that's your thing. All the rooms was clean, and well equipped. One point of warning, if you are tall, bring an helmet. Best part, off street parking.

As described and perfect location for our pupose..meeting up with nearby family.Super coffee(and cinnamon buns!) right next door.Cottage is excellent,all facilities.parking space is tight,2nd single bedroom has low sloping ceiling,beds good,main bedroom lovely.wifi good.Couple of minor issues but owner quick to respond.main one was rubbish bin as hadn’t been emptied jammed full so make sure it is put out otherwise bin company can’t collect ! Very quiet at night just lovely owls calling!Oh and make sure an inquisitive little cat doesn’t get in!! when leaving!

Perfect location for getting to the coast for walking. Loved sitting out on the little patio to eat dinner. Fabulous coffee shop next door and everything you need - shops, supermarket, restaurants a few minutes’ walk away. Driveway is tight if you have a very big car.

Well Cottage was perfect. We are a mid 70’s couple and used to our creature comforts. All the essential amenities were provided and plenty of them. We loved Holt and enjoyed all it had to offer. Great staying so close to the town centre- we ate out every night and only used the car to visit other places during the day. Thank you for everything, Chris.

Cosy cottage

Lovely little place, spotlessly clean,only parking for one car but there is free overnight parking straight outside on road,Holt has everything you'll need,ideal for a base to explore all the coastal towns.Communication with the host was quick and accurate, highly recommend for a great holiday.

Great location

A lovely base to explore the area, great location. Lots of info on restaurants and places to visit nearby. A nice complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice little treat. Parking space was fine for our ford eco sport, could see it being a bit tight on some larger vehicles. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great location, well equipped cottage

Fantastic location. Appreciated all the useful touches for children including night lights, bunting, teddies and games. Well equipped kitchen. And a super quiet street considering how close to the town centre it is. All you need from a holiday property.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location

Really nice cottage, well located in the heart of Holt. Cottage was very clean with comfortable beds, enough space for all of us. Well stocked kitchen with all the mod cons. It was also great having 2 full bathrooms. We struggled a little with the parking space - it was quite tight for a big car particularly when someone parks directly opposite. That said, there is a public car park just round the corner which was cheap (free after 18:00) and overpayment ran through to next morning from 08:00 onwards and even better, had 6 EV parking bays. Holt is a lovely little town with lots of unique and boutique stores, pubs and restaurants. Close to Cromer and Sheringham - def worth doing a day trip on the North Norfolk Rail - from Holt to Sherifham by steam train.

Half term in Holt

Brilliant location, 1 minute from wonderful shops, pubs and cafes. Couldn’t be more convenient, with its own off street parking too. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. It was smaller than we were expecting from the description and this caused some issues with sleeping arrangements and having to be quiet and have lights off downstairs as soon as kids went to bed. The kitchen is functional but a bit tatty round the edges. Needs a new frying pan with a flat bottom to rest on the flat electric hob! These are minor niggles, we still had a fab time. I was just hoping for a bit more of the money, but appreciate that it was a last minute booking.
