A lovely bungalow in a great location. Had everything we needed for 2 adults and 2 kids under 10 and was very clean. The delicious lemon drizzle cake on arrival was a lovely surprise too as was a pint of milk and a few other thoughtful bits to welcome us. Walking distance to Blakeney quay and plenty of parking made it a great base for our 6 day stay. Juliet was also very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this property and we'll be back.

Wonderful!

Our 2nd time staying in this lovely bungalow. Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Perfectly located in the quay, the 2 pubs are dog friendly, and the Spar down the road is well stocked. Perfect!

We have been visiting the bungalow for many years now and love it each time we stay. Very well equipped, host is very helpful and leaves lovely thoughtful treats and location is great for Blakeney and surrounding area. Will be back next year

Our stay at Close - By was lovely

We had a lovely stay at Close - By. The bungalow was spotless. Lovely decor. Lots of lovely finishing touches. A very warm and cosy bungalow. We had a lovely welcome pack which was really nice, it included a delicious Lemon Drizzle cake. Our little dogs loved the enclosed garden back garden.

Perfect

The house was beautiful with lovely, festive decorations. It was peaceful and the location was perfect: a stone's throw from the quayside. I have been visiting Blakeney since I was little and Close-By has just become a firm favourite! The visitor's book is a joy to read and really speaks for itself; many visitors return only a couple of months later!! The lemon drizzle cake and gifts upon arrival were a gorgeous touch too. Thank you so much for having us!! x

A real gem in a great location

Such a nice property in a quiet location but just 5 minutes walk to the quay. Plenty of parking, dog friendly garden and everything you needed was provided for. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Anniversary break

Cottage located in lovely location. Very clean and everything in the cottage thought of. The enclosed garden great for the dog. Convenient for pubs,shop, walks buses, probably the best cottage we have been to for getting about.A great place to stay.

Perfect place

Stayed for a weekwith my partner, mum and 2 small dogs. The house and location were perfect. Tastefully decorated and everything you could need for a weeks stay. Welcome pack very much appreciated, especially the prosecco and cake! Nice garden for sitting out and letting the dogs run round. Sofa was a little low down and not the easiest to get up off but that could just be an age thing! Would definitely stay again.

All you could want

A beautifully presented property, with everything needed for a relaxing break. The lovely lawned garden is perfect for dogs and is accessed from the lounge. The master bed is super comfy and we slept better than we do at home! The welcome pack was fabulous and the owners are nearby if you need anything ( or in our case, if you don't read the manual to find where the keys are kept - sorry about that :) ). Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. Tim and Jane

Great base for a short break

Spacious holiday home with lovely gardens. Modern kitchen and bathroom, very clean and well presented. The owners have a great attention to detail with regards to information/planning for guests needs. Great location and dog friendly too. We loved it and would happily return!

Lovely area, weather not great.

Good location for visiting wildlife reserves and Close By is very nice property with everything provided. Juliet was very helpful. We were a little limited in mobility and the weather was not great for sitting around but it was mostly dry. But Blakeney is still a great spot to visit and we had enjoyable visits to Birdy's Bakery on the Quay! You can't control the British weather!

Close By is well located in Blakeney, Norfolk

Excellent place to stay in Blakeney with only a short walk to town. Has an enclosed garden for dogs to safely roam around in. Property is exceptionally clean & well equiped, including high speed broadand & a smart Samasung TV.
