"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too."

"It's a building with several apartments so ours did not exactly match the photos, but it did look similar enough. We were on the second floor and there was no lift - something to be aware of if you have trouble with stairs. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft. The sofa was a little small but comfortable enough. The apartment was clean, but some of the kitchen utensils were dirty, presumably from previous guests. The oven did not work for us. "Lovely cottage. The wood burning stove was much appreciated by all including our black Labrador! The central heating was very efficient once we’d found the boiler controls (in one of the twin rooms) Host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed but wasn’t at all intrusive. Beds very comfortable ! Can recommend the Scotsman’s Pack inn who (with some advance notice) catered for 42 of us for the Birthday meal !"
