Wow - what an amazing place!! We travel multiple times a year all over the world & Bamboo Apartments is now on our top 3 places we love to visit. So much that we are talking about coming back here in the fall. Everything about this property is magical. The apartment was clean, cozy & comfortable. The grounds were peaceful & beautiful. Having beach chairs, umbrella, towels, & a cooler for us to use was great! & private access to the beautiful beach for morning walks & evening sunsets? ... you literally can't beat that. All the personal touches (door sign, welcome basket, etc.) were so thoughtful & Alice took time out of her afternoon to say hello to us & thanked us for staying. Do yourself a favor & stay here!! You won't regret it.

First time to AMI and this quiet little spot of paradise was perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed the flower gardens, cute little lizards everywhere, the huge trees, easy short walk to the beach and gorgeous sunsets. The apartment was clean and just a short drive to Publix. Our 6 day stay was perfect.

Great location, the beach is your backyard. The property is clean and walking distance to the supermarket. The property includes all beach amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, kids beach toys etc. Great place to relax and enjoy the beach.

The perfect Old Florida apartment just steps from the beach!

My 12 year old daughter and I had a wonderful experience staying with Alice. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed for a visit to the beach. The history of this place and a love for beach life can be felt! The owner goes above and beyond for her guests. The rooms were so comfortable, and nostalgic, We felt right at home and plan to be back!

5 stars isn't enough!

I wish there was a way to rate Bamboo apts higher than 5 stars. Everything about our stay was perfect. Alice and her team do an incredible job with communication and maintaining the property. The location is just great. We were so comfortable there, we didn't want to leave. You will not be disappointed with staying at Bamboo!

Amazing location!

The Bamboo Apartments are a five star location for a small family. We loved that the apartment was just steps from the beach and that Alice had a cooler, chairs, umbrellas for our use. This beach is pristine and just next door to Manatee Public Beach- so all the benefits of a snack shack, shuttle stop, lifeguard stand- but just far enough away for privacy. Apartment was clean and cool- the most important things for a Florida summer trip. Alice made sure that our family had everything we needed- personal service and help for our road weary group. I only hope to return soon!

Wonderful authentic Florida

We made wonderful memories staying at the Bamboo apt3, walking on the nearby beach every morning , enjoying local restaurants and cafes, fresh fish and above all super friendly people. Thank you Alice for making our stay comfortable and welcoming us with the basket of treats!

Holmes Beach apartment

This property was absolutely perfect for us. Loved the beach being a few steps away and all the patio furniture in front and behind the building. It was peaceful and quiet. We were able to check in a little early. Owner had a sweet welcome sign to us on the door and a Welcome basket of goodies waiting on the table. Great little Tiki bar and restaraunt right next door with live music every night. I would definately come back and stay much longer next time. Anna Maria Island is the best. We also loved having a shuttle that was free running all day and into the evening. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality.

Hidden treasure!

We were pleasantly surprised on our first trip to Anna Maria Island to have chosen the perfect place to call home for a week. Our cottage had everything necessary, was very clean and comfortable, with beautiful outside gardens. The fact that we were on the most beautiful private beach within 75 steps through the backyard was amazing....the sunsets even better. Alice is a wonderful person and host, and extremely accommodating. We plan to return to the Bamboo Apartments again, but next time for a longer stay!!

Tropical Time Capsule

Bamboo Apartments is a quaint semi secluded tropical getaway that makes you feel you opened a time capsule of the past. I felt the world around slip away as I relaxed amongst the tropical landscaping and enjoyed the cool ocean sounds and breeze. I just wish I could have stayed longer. Alice is very accommodating and helpful. The unit was exceptional clean and we had everything we needed.

Unbelievable!!

What a spectacular place to stay. Steps to the beach, steps to wonderful food and drink. Very old school Florida and wonderfully kept up. We met the owner and got some history of the Bamboo Apartments which made the stay even better. It was more than advertised. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Alice for such a wonderful place!!

My family had the best time at Anna Maria Island. The location of the apartment was perfect with the beach at your back door. The apartment was spotlessly clean and there was a nice welcome basket waiting when we checked in.
