Wonderful location

This was a delightful stay with our family, which we had planned very carefully well in advance to make sure that we had selected a location that would provide a very special one of a kind family opportunity. The description of the property aligned quite well with what our expectations were. The property management company does prefer to have scheduled stays that only fit from Saturday to Saturday, so it was very difficult to accommodate some of our travel needs. There were a few last-minute hiccups with regard to the facilities, communication and accounting of our stay. However, with a great deal of communication during our vacation we were able to work through the majority of concerns with a manager. Hopefully future visitors will not be impacted the way that we were. Again a wonderful location & condo.

Fall Family Get-Away

I have been using VRBO for many years and find the use of the site very user friendly. I found this property at Holmes Beach and noted the website had very beautiful pictures that, while very lovely, did not do justice to this magnificent rental property. The unit is incredibly spacious with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The fixtures and features are modern yet classic with updated appliances, any and all kitchen supplies/utensils, and televisions with internet and cable access in all the bedrooms. The building boasts only 4 units with plenty of parking. There is an onsite swimming pool with deck furniture as well as a grilling and bar area. The beach is only a few steps away and feels very private and secluded. Beach chairs and umbrellas were not provided. However, the unit did have plenty of beach towels. On the first night of our stay, the air conditioner stopped working so we called the property manager who promptly answered our call and sent a repair man. The remainder of our stay was otherwise uneventful and very relaxing. This is a wonderful place to stay and we hope to come back again in the future!

Great stay!

We had no idea when we planned this trip that a hurricane might thwart our plans! The rental company was AMAZING! The rental was stunning and in a great location. When we arrived, a smoke alarm beeping due to low battery. Island Real Estate sent someone almost immediately to replace the batteries. This is definitely a property we would stay in again as well as renting from Island Real Estate.

Wonderful condo

The views from the condo are absolutely amazing. The beach was very close and easily accessed. The unit was nice and clean when we arrived. There are many nearby restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The pool was very well kept as well as the surrounding areas. Parking was easy with no difficulty ever finding a place to park. Could not have asked for a more pleasant week.

Beautiful Condo

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was perfect and we loved being right on the beach. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there were a few things that needed some work and a deep cleaning. In addition, the kitchen lacked some basic things to make cooking easy. (Pot holders, pasta fork, additional pots/pans etc…) The washing machine really needs a major cleaning. Other than those minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. We would return!

A View With A Wow

The moment we walked in the front door we were amazed at how beautiful the view was, truly stunning. This condo unit was perfect for our family, clean, quiet and extremely well appointed. The main bedroom king bed was too comfortable (we slept in too much)! It was super convenient to just walk out onto the beach whenever we wanted, and not have to pack up the car and find parking. On our first night we saw a large sea turtle come up to lay her eggs in the dunes, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I recommend this property

My adult kids made the statement that this was the nicest place dad's ever booked. We loved the beach, local restaurants and island vibe. There were lounge chairs you can drag out to the beach. The post doesn't list it so we preordered rentals.

ANNUAL GIRLS TRIP

(4) 70+ ladies on an annual beach trip. Property was as described. Very quiet and peaceful week with shops, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. You can rent a golf cart or catch the shuttle into Holmes Beach or up to northern end of Anna Maria. Would recommend and return.

Perfection

I would love to own this property. We traveled with our three year old twins, 5 month old, and our au pair. We stayed for ten days and it was perfect. We flew to Tampa and drove to the island. The house was easy to find and is so pretty. While we were there no one was in any of the other units so it felt amazing to have it to ourselves. Our experience could have been different if we had a lot of folks to share the pool with as it is on the smaller side but it was absolutely perfect for our family. I love that the kids didn't have access to the pool without us but we could see the pool easily from the patio. It was great when the baby needed to nap because we could still feel part of the fun downstairs. The kitchen is great and while some rental places have spices and coffee etc this one doesn't so plan a shopping trip. Grocery stores are close by. We had a little trouble with the slider door and couldn't open it until we figured out a trick to it and think the handle needs to be replaced. We also had an issue with a small leak from the upstairs unit onto the master bed but it was rectified within a day and I think it is a fluke incident. The beach is right at your door and also set far enough away that you feel private when on the patio. You can hear the surf from the main living area and kitchen which was a priority for us. The master bedroom is so comfortable but you can't see the water. All of the furnishings were top notch and the unit was so incredibly comfortable. It was great for our au pair too because the back bedroom is set so far away it was like she could take a true break when off work. We used ABC Baby Rental and it was awesome to have cribs, monitors, diapers and more delivered and they arranged it with the management company. I have wonderful memories here that I'll cherish all my life.

Nice property - maintenance issues.

The property itself looked very nice and had a gorgeous view of the beach. My poor review is because the master bedroom smelled of urine and the situation wasn't handled well. I contacted the property manager- the strong urine smell went all the way down to the mattress level. They attempted to spray it and put the bedding over it. They came back the next day to enclose the mattress in something else. Whatever they sprayed left me with a headache from the smell. Very disappointed with the whole situation. The porch area and kitchen were very nice. The bedrooms were very dark with the layout of the condo. There were issues with an outside door that wouldn't lock, the sliding glass doors were difficult to open due to gouged tracks, the master bathroom sink wouldn't drain, the whirlpool tub was nonfunctional and the sprayer leaked when the water was on in the tub in the master bathroom. The other mattresses were very uncomfortable in the condo. The beach area wasn't too crowded in this location - but you had to avoid certain ocean areas because of rough surf. The pool was very small for 4 units and was a triangular shape. The hot tub was enjoyable. There was an outdoor container with beach toys and noodles by the pool and lounge chairs to take to the beach are provided. Parking is very tight (width) in the designated indoor garage spot, especially for an SUV or crossover vehicle. Not a very pleasant stay- mainly because of the urine issue. I would not stay here again.

Wonderful luxury condo/private and great beach location

Stay: April 2-10, 2021. 75 degrees and sunny all week. Surpisingly lots of people in water, and lots of sunbathers - plenty warm during day - always a strong breeze on beach. As advertised. quiet, high end luxury unit - only 4 units in buildings and 1-2 are owner occupied. Perfect location on beach quiet area - 15 minute walk along beach public beach. 10 minute walk to shops/restaurants. Walk directly out of unit to fantastic beach - watch sunsets others drive or walk over for. Dolphins right in front of your beach. High end furnishings - feels like a 4 start hotel. Tip for those who plan to cook alot, kitchen is fully furnished but short on a few random items you should bring if needed: no 9 x 13 cooking pan/glassware; no tupperware/glassware with lids for storage in frig, no crock pot, no hot pads/oven mits, no paper flat bottom coffee filters for coffee maker. Great wifi - cable TVs - beach towels - great W/D for laundry - high end bathrooms with walk in showers great AC (though we did not really need much AC for our early April 2021 stay). This is a quiet family oriented accomodation, with 1-2 owners living in the 4 residences - and a small quiet, private pool with connected hot (warm) tub. This would not be a good accommodation for a big loud group or teens looking for a raucus spring break type experience - do not think that would fly in this building. Highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again - was perfect for our family of 5 with teens.

Beautiful condo

The condo was beautiful and the views were stunning. We had a problem with the main tv not working. We arrived on Friday and they couldn’t fix it until Monday. On Saturday we went to dinner and then our keypad to the condo wouldn’t work. It took 2 phone calls and almost an hour to get help. We were locked out with a 3 year old until 11 pm waiting for someone.

This is one of the most beautiful properties in Anna Maria. It was perfect for my husband's birthday celebration with family. It is well appointed, well stocked and well taken care of. We had a very special time. Thank you.
