We were so pleasantly surprised! And enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! The cottage was super clean! We were literally right on the beach, and yet it had the cottage vibe decor, that was darling! We loved the fact that it was family friendly. We were there without kids but your cottage and apartment neighbors became like family! We feel like we have met friends for life! We had heard how sweet Alice was to deal with and would do anything to make your stay perfect...Luckily, we got to meet her on our last day as she was out of town, we would have been sad not to have met her after all the hype! And everyone was correct, she's a doll!! Alice is the type that would bend over backwards to make sure your stay was exactly what you wanted. It's evident because there have been couples that have been returning for 17 plus years! Everything shops, restaurants and grocery stores are all in walking distance! We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!! Jim & Trish

Thank you, Alice, for sharing your cozy cottage. The welcome basket was an unexpected treat! What a beautiful location. Girls Getaway

Three generations to celebrate family member birthday. The Bamboo Apartments were a perfect place for us to stay - relaxing, beautiful beach view, and all the comforts of home. Alica is a gracious hostess. We will be back!

We loved the historical feel of the cottage and proximity to the beach. It was a relaxing, rejuvenating visit and we appreciated the hospitality basket upon our arrival. We have found most VRBO’s do not offer this simple but much appreciated touch. On top of everything, the owner, Alice, is a delight

Lovely Stay!

This place is in the perfect location for a wonderful beach get away. Steps from the beach with breathtaking sunrise walks and sunset shows. The beach chairs and umbrella were a nice perk as well. The space was cozy, comfortable, and the air condtioner cold! Alice is a fantastic communicator and was prompt to answer all my questions. Close to the grocery store and restaurants. 10/10 would stay here again. My only complaint is that I did not stay long enough.

Great Stay

Thanks to all of the prior raters who gave this property such a good reputation. It’s very clean, is well maintained, has beautiful grounds, is only steps to the beach, is centrally located, has a grocery within walking distance…. Too many good things to list. We were fortunate enough to meet our host and she’s just the most pleasant and likable person. Great stay all around!!

Relaxing

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. If you are wanting to relax and enjoy the beach this is the place for you. Old Florida is the vibe with everything you would need for two! Very clean, bed was comfortable, well supplied for us to get away and reset before the new year.

Nirvana on the beach

Old Florida Charm

My sister and I consider ourselves very fortunate to have stayed in this charming Cottage (C2 Sleeps 2) which is a step back in time to old Florida. Screen porch to sit and relax, peaceful grounds nestled in a private yard that overlooks the gorgeous beach. Special touches such as a Wine & Cracker basket and a cute little Welcome Sign with our names greeted us on our arrival. Convenient location to the Free Trolly ride to see everything the island has to offer. We both look forward to a return visit!
