No privacy, very dated. Uncomfortable.

This property is misleading, separate master bedroom but it has no privacy. There is a two cabinet door opening in the living room where you can directly open the cabinet doors and see into the master bedroom. There is absolutely no privacy provided. Dated home that offers no locks on the bedroom doors. Outside landscaping is in need of update and attention of overgrown bushes and weeds. Entire outside needs to be pressure washed. The washer is up on blocks, my husband and son had to pick it up multiple times as it’s not anchored to anything and falls off the blocks while running. The water hose is not long enough to reach your boat at the slip to access water. The beds are awful so bad we left one night early because I could not sleep another night on the concrete mattress and rough sheets provided. We tried to open the sofa bed to see if that would be more comfortable but no bedding was provided anywhere in the home for the sofa bed. The view is very nice and the locate is perfect but the home itself was anything but comfortable.

Great location!

Het huisje is ruim en heel schoon. Compleet ingericht met vaatwasser, wasmachine en droger. BBQ buiten. Enig minpuntje is het onhandige alarm op de zijdeur wat steeds ingedrukt moet worden. De locatie is geweldig; lekker aan een inham van de baai met uitzicht op de Sunshine Skyway. Heerlijk. Het strand is op 10 minuten lopen. AMI is ook super om per fiets te ontdekken. Leuke boetiekjes in de straat naar de City Pier.

Loved this place!

The pics do not do it justice. It is larger than the pics reflect. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard dock area is awesome with inlet access, great views of the intercostal and the Sunshine Skyway. First time we didn't stay on the beach and it was a nice change. Thanks for sharing your property with us. We will be back.

Loved Our Stay

We loved our stay at Stars on the Water! My sisters and I chose this listing based on location and we weren't disappointed! Close enough to walk to the grocery store, the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants! We loved having the canal in the back yard, where we enjoyed the sun when not headed to the beach. Beach towels were provided, which was great as we had neglected to bring any with us. The management company was VERY responsive when we realized we had an ironing board, but no iron; they had one delivered within the hour. The home was clean and beds comfortable. We were happy there was a grill for eating in a couple of nights. All in all, very pleased with our stay! Thank you for having us!

Property and location was great. An icemaker would have been nice, but ice trays worked fine. Only 2 disappointments. 1. A/C stopped working halfway thru our 2-week stay and was not repaired; AMI locals kept promising service calls that didn't happen. 2. Internet (2.4Ghz band) was extremely slow. 5Gz band was OK, but not great.

Amazing canal front location!

This property is perfect! We were right on the canal and docked our 17ft boat right out back with easy and fast access to all waterways. Beautiful views of the bay and the Skyway Bridge, especially at night when it's all lit up. The rear canal facing living room is a wall of windows. We saw Manatees in the canal and had a visit from a great blue heron every evening! Amazing central location, just 3 miles north to Rod and reel pier or 3 miles south to Bridge Street area. Very close to the oceanfront, you could actually walk, and very close to Publix. We rented a golf cart and could be to the beach in 2 mins. The interior is so cute, well appointed, quiet and safe. Our mattress was extremely comfortable. All in all a great choice, especially for those bringing a boat! We can't wait to go back! Extremely satisfied!

Great location, very spacious! Everything we needed except a vacuum, mop, and ice maker. Loved the wall of windows and view of the bay was great. Would definitely stay again! Perfect for a small family!

Relaxing time at the water

We truly enjoyed our time at the property! The backyard on the canal was just beautiful, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Walking to the beach just takes 5 minutes. We hope to be back in fall.

First time in AMI

We absolutely fell in love with Anna Maria Island. All of the locals were so friendly. Everything was easy to get to unlike some tourist towns where you sit in traffic. We were even there 4th of July and the traffic seemed completely normal and not congested. We definitely want to come back!

VIEW is INCREDIBLE

We brought the boat down and spent the ENTIRE trip in the back yard. Rented kayaks one day and launched right from the dock. The view from this house are unreal! Sunset was a must everyday we were there... I couldn't believe how amazing they were, picture on the site did not even do it justice! The house is very nice as well, clean and plenty of room for our family. We will rent this again for sure!
