First off, this house is absolutely gorgeous!!! Everything is new and impeccably clean. The design and color choices are flawless. Beds are sooo comfy. Pool is beautiful, well heated and very comfortable even on chilly days. The kids loved fishing off the dock and watching manatees swim by. Kayak is outside ready for use with life vests in various sizes. The location is the best of both worlds - right on the canal off Sarasota Bay but a very short, easy walk to the beach. High chair, pack n play, and infant tub came in handy (tub was big enough to use with a toddler in the shower). We have stayed at many places in Anna Maria with our family of 6 and this one checks all the boxes. The only negative was the pool has some spots along the sides that are a little rough on little toes so you may want water shoes for little ones. Hoping that might get smoother with use of the pool because we will be back!!! Don’t hesitate this place is phenomenal!!

Wonderful location

My family and I had the best time staying here. The house was spotless when we arrived. The pool, private dock, and fire pit made our stay. Beds were VERY comfortable and AC made it even more comfortable. 5 minute walk to beach. Mathias and Carren provided beach chairs, pool floats, fishing poles, towels, and a beach cart. The pool didn’t have a cage around it like in the pictures but we didn’t mind at all! It was almost better without so we can hang out with the kids while they swam. Sleeps 6 comfortably. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you have kids.

Superschöne Lage mit Luft nach oben

Wir haben diese Unterkunft vom 04.-18.01 gemietet. Check in war super, wir konnten schon vor 16.00 Uhr das Haus/Bungalow beziehen. Ebenso wurde uns ein später Check out gewährt. Platz im Haus für 4 erwachsene Personen war ok. Küche gut ausgestattet, nur Kleinigkeiten, die fehlten. (Käsereibe) Außenanlagen soweit instand gesetzt sehr schön, auf der „Rasenfläche“ liegen Schrauben und alte Nägel, das Poolwasser sauber und angenehm warm - nur die Ränder des Pools sehen Instandsetzungsbedürftig aus. Sehr schön fanden wir, dass Kajaks mit an Bord waren. Diese haben wir sehr viel genutzt. Ein schöner Esstisch mit Stühlen sowie eine neue Wanne und die Duschen mit abnehmbaren Brausekopf würden das Häuschen und den Komfort immense aufwerten. Leider auch nicht angemeldeter Baulärm - außer an den Wochenenden. Wir fliegen seit Jahren nach Florida und können hier gute Vergleiche ziehen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in diesem Fall nicht ganz, obwohl der Vermieter bereits im Vorfeld der Buchungsanfrage einen Preisnachlass eingeräumt hatte. Vermieter hat schnell geantwortet. In der Gesamtbewertung könnte man noch einen weiteren Stern vergeben, wenn das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmen würde und wir uns nicht während der gesamten Zeit im Baulärmmodus befunden hätten.

Perfect location

The property was perfectly located within a 5 minute walk to beach and close to everything you need without leaving the island! House was clean, fully stocked and really enjoyed the pool! Any issues (not major) were responded to quickly by owner!

Great Location

Nice house in a good location. Walking distance to beach was convenient. Nice pool and deck. View is a canal and a boat ramp. House is a little out of dated, but comfortable. Good experience.

Anna Maria getaway

The house was perfect for our vacation. We brought our 23 foot boat and had it parked on the dock all week. The trailer fit in the yard without any issues. manatees we’re seen daily by the dock. Great location for boating and near uncrowned beaches. Kitchen fully stocked. Outdoor grill. House was clean and everything worked as advertised. Pool was heated. Outdoor closet was full of beach chairs, etc.

Comfortable Stay

My husband and I stayed here with our adult daughter . Just the right amount of room. Extremely comfortable house. It’s a bit worn but it’s very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect … we rode bikes or took Monkey bus where ever we needed to go.

Fall Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron, aptly named, as a blue heron constantly kept us company near the dock. The property was perfect for our four adult family vacation party. The home is centrally located for all activities and a short walk to the beach. I don't think I have ever stayed in a rental property so well equipped and generous with supplies. We certainly hope to come again!

Amazing location & great vacation home

Our family of four had a lovely week-long stay here!! The location is perfect… two blocks to a gorgeous, white sand, non-crowded beach—perfect for swimming & body surfing; two-minute drive to the grocery store/dollar store/pharmacy; & right on a saltwater inlet filled with jumping fish, tons of manatees, & other ocean wildlife to observe. We absolutely loved kayaking with all the manatees every day!! (kayaks and lifejackets were included). Homeowners conveniently provide beach chairs, umbrellas, & a wagon to haul all the beach items. We enjoyed the hot outdoor shower; there is also a hose for rinsing off when you get back from the beach. The pool was warm. We liked that the pool area was screened in to keep bugs out in the evening & to stop our pool ball from going in the inlet. The house itself is spacious and has a great floor plan. Perfect for a family of four to six. It was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were high quality. There are a washer and dryer conveniently located off the kitchen/living room. (Bring your own detergent… we washed beach towels every day.) I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful!!

My family of five stayed here for the week and really enjoyed it! The house was clean, comfortable and in an amazing location in relation to the beach!! We used the chairs, umbrellas and wagon provided by the the hosts and really appreciated that!! The back of the house is on the canal and there are so many manatees!!! I loved having coffee every morning and watching them pop up every few minutes!! Our experience here was great and the hosts were so easy to communicate with! They called to be sure we had settled in well, which I thought was a very kind gesture!

Great Spot!

Bring your boat! Boat ramp right across the canal from the house, we put in on first day and kept it tied up on the dock all week for easy daily boat trips. Saw manatees in the canal every day, owner provides kayaks to get a closer look. Kids loved the pool and fire pit, outside space was great and neighbors were friendly. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy - a great spot!

Absolutely wonderful!

This property was exactly as described and more! We loved being on the canal and spent many hours fishing off the dock and talking to all of the people/boats who went by. It couldn’t be in a better location - right in the middle of anywhere you’d want to go! The house was more than equipped with anything we’d need from Beach Items - Pots/Pans - Fishing poles. We spent a wonderful week here and loved it!

Perfect Island Getaway

This property was perfect for my wife and me. We enjoyed the pool and many meals on the deck. Kitchen and bedrooms were spacious and the place was extremely clean. Was a short walk to the beach for sunset each night and centrally located to restaurants, markets and grocery store. We will definitely return again.

RELAXING!! BEAUTIFUL!!

The town was very busy the week that we stayed there, good thing we rented the bikes. We enjoyed the sunsets and hanging out on the dock. Every morning we would wake up and see what was in the channel. Home is very quaint and we highly recommend this place. Everything you would need to stay comfortable was there.

Everything you need

Well located, directly at a Tampa Bay chanel, 200 meters from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico beach. Nice house, well furnished, stylish. Every day manatees passing by. Wonderful place.
