"Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. "The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again."

"This is our second visit to Three Peaks cottage and it was just as good as our first. Lovely and clean with a well appointed kitchen and beautiful location! The views from the garden are spectacular but if you're too tired from a day on the fells to climb the garden steps then the views from the lounge are just as good. The two double bedrooms also have fabulous views that you can enjoy. The village has some great local pubs just a short walk away as well as a coffee shop and local shop....
