Family vacation

We had a great time at Seas the Day. Couldn’t ask for a more responsive host! Great location, and easy to get to the house and the beach. Too hot for much use of the hot tub, but some of us did get in. Loved the lights and speaker. Smaller than expected, but still plenty of room for the 10 of us. Note that you have to go through one of two bed rooms to get to the room with the twin beds. Works well if they are your kids. Great view of the double rainbow on our last evening.

Multiple family vacation

Our vacation was a good one at Seas the Day! Three families stayed here. Grandparents, grandkids, aunts, uncles and cousins and a dog. Now the stairs became friends and nemesis kitchen and living area on 3rd level. The walk to beach access nice, and for ice cream and coffee good too -remember stairs will work off that, so get an extra scoop! When we came across an issue with the cooling unit in the bedroom with the 3 twin beds host called HVAC guy and it was fixed within 24hrs. Host stayed in contact until fixed.Th 4 stars for cleaning was something was overlooked and when addressed options were given and taken care of. Everyone standards are different and my own home is not white glove approved and don’t expect that. Vivian and Jaimie your host were immediately responsive, that makes a difference to me. I’ve stayed at places and 1star vs 4 for lack of communication.The hot tub very clean and was great to have for the grandkids and big kids too. The weather being humid we did not utilize the first floor(garage) game area at all, for us and the weather did not have great air flow, but the ocean, then paddle board and kayak rentals and some mini golf did just fine and then porch sitting with music and drinks of all kinds was plenty!Our dog did great too we were concerned for our senior dog and the non rug stairs but she did fantastic. No issues for her at all! Thanks for the memories!

Great stay

Great house- rooms were as pictured and the house was a shorter walk to the beach than we expected. We came with a bunch of friends and this worked great for a winter weekend getaway. We liked the open third floor for hanging out, cooking and playing games. The kitchen was well stocked. Hosts were proactive with info in advance, super responsive to questions and motivated to help us have a good time. We would come back here.

Great stay

Good layout for a family full of kids. Proximity to beach and things in town was excellent/walkable. Host was transparent and communicated well. What I loved the most was the checkout process. There was not a huge list of items we needed to do before we left. We could simply focus on saying bye to family and searching for all the items our kids had lost ;). Great stay!

Christmas trip to the beach

Impressive! We enjoyed our stay at the Bombastic Home. It was spacious and met every need. My grandkids were spoiled with games and room to play. The was one of the best homes I have vacationed at. I messaged the owners, and they were very responsive. Our family would definitely vacation here again. 5 REAL stars.

Lovely. Plenty of room for all. Easy 1/2 block to beach. Well appointed decor. Comfortable ac. Only point of concern: dishwasher has mildew, needs cleaner application. Otherwise very pleasant home. Really enjoyed relaxing with the family....reconnecting again.

Family Reunion

I've rented plenty of places and the thing I appreciate most is prompt, clear communication with the owner. Vivian was super prompt and would ask at the end if there was anything else we needed. 12 cousins from around the nation for a great stay at the beach. A block from beach, near restaurants & retail and other attractions. Plenty of bedrooms and a dining room table that can seat 14! We definitely needed the double oven when cooking for this bunch of bombastic relatives. Game room had lots of games for those periods of rain. When it was sunny, beach chairs in a wagon were put to good use. Rent here - you'll have a blast!

Fantastic family beach vacation home!

Jamie & Vivian's Surf City home was perfect for my kids and grand kids 2024 beach vacation. We have a tradition to travel to Topsail Island, as this is the place my parents brought our family when I was a kid! The home was perfect for our clan of 6 adults, 3 kids and doggos. Jamie & Vivian provided excellent communication from start to finish and the home had everything we needed. The location is perfect and just a very short walk to the beach. Thank you both for being excellent hosts and for providing us a safe, relaxing home for a memorable beach trip for our family!

Awesome getaway stay!!

This place was awesome, very clean and the perfect spot to enjoy a day in the beach breeze! My friends and I enjoyed the space and ease of accrss to the beach and needed establishments around (grocery, eatery, etc). I would certainly recommend this home to others looking for a sweet stay at the beach!! P.S. the management was awesome as well, super responsive and assisted with all needs!

Family Celebration

Family Time

We really enjoyed our time at your home. It literally was steps away from the beach which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the amount of outdoor seating areas that were available. There was at least one outdoor area on each level. The views are amazing. I will be recommending this location to others.

Great Friendsgiving in a perfect location at Surf City

The location of this house can't be beat - 1 min walk to beach and close to pier, restaurants and shops. There were two families with kids ages 7, 12 and 16. There was plenty of space for everyone and the house was well stocked. We even cooked Thanksgiving dinner there. The hot tub was so nice to come back to everyday. Our friends brought there two fur babies and the fenced in yard was perfect for them to run around in. Communication was perfect and they even had someone come out to clean the hot tub during a holiday week.

50th birthday Beach trip !

I would definitely rate 5 stars and above. This home was absolutely beautiful, each balcony has a different amazing view .You have views of the ocean and views of the waterways . You are literally steps away from the ocean .Google view does not show you how very close you are to walking on the sand . Which made that so wonderful because we had our granddaughter with us. They provide a beach wagon that our granddaughter loved going to the beach in . We had everything we needed and more . When not at the beach or out at one of the amazing restaurants that are actually in walking distance (if you feel like a short stroll) we were relaxing in the hot tub in the backyard. This house was pirate themed ,so it made it so much more fun for my husband's 50th birthday! Definitely recommend for a fun and relaxing beach stay .There was plenty of room for our kids and granddaughter. 10 out 10 recommend this home !!!

Surf City family dream trip

We’ve been coming to Surf City for years and had the best time at this house! The location is so ideal and the views/sunsets were amazing. The house itself was very nice, updated and provided everything a family of four could need for a stay. We will definitely be coming back!!
