Everything about this place was more than expected. It was way more than the pictures showed. It was the best place we have stayed since we started renting vacation homes 8 years ago. Perfect weather, perfect week and the owner was in touch to insure that our stay was enjoyable and Flawless. Will definitely book again.

Our family loved our stay in this home. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and well appointed. The location is ideal and the beach is wonderful. Host was very responsive and helpful. We were very happy with this vacation home and will absolutely return.

Perfect Vacation!!

Pelican’s Landing is the perfect beach house for the perfect vacation! John is a wonderful host! A lot of thought went into making the house feel like home. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen as it is very well stocked to include Cuisinart small appliances. There was plenty of room for our family of 9. The beds are so comfortable. Each morning we would all comment to one another how comfy the beds were and how well we slept. We enjoyed many hours on the deck! The beach is steps away! We didn’t want to leave! Thank you, John, for the perfect vacation!

Family Beach Trip

This house is amazing! You are literally steps to the beach. We had plenty of room as we are eleven in total. Eight adults and three kids under the age of two. We will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful stay at Pelicans Landing!!! Very comfortable and spectacular view and location!!

Really can’t say anything but good things about this Beach house. We have stayed in many places on Topsail Island/Surf City and this house is in our top 10 out of all of the places we have stayed. Super host for sure. Very prompt with responses and friendly. Definitely will stay again if available. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!!!

Awesome Week at the beach!

We had a wonderful stay! Location right on the beach was perfect. House is a mile or so to shops and restaurants. Our teenagers walked to them almost everyday. We visited Shaka Taco several times; tacos were amazing! Online pictures of the house are accurate. We had plenty of space for our family of 7 plus our dog. Kitchen was well stocked, lots of pots, pans, appliances, dishes, etc. We loved sitting on upper deck to enjoy the view and some sunshine. We had no issues during our stay. John was great with communication. Highly recommend! We will definitely return.

Great Beach Getaway!

Fantastic property in a fantastic location! We really enjoyed our time. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. We loved walking from the deck on to the beach and hearing the sound of the waves. Very close to Surf City restaurants and shops. John was nice to work with and communication was great. Highly recommend for a family get away. We will definitely come back.

New Year’s Week Getaway

The house was the perfect spot for a relaxing week at the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils and cookware we needed. We had plenty of space for 6 adults to gather together but at the same time each have privacy. Our host was easy to contact and responded quickly when needed.

Fun with Beach Buddies

Lovely Beach House. Very comfortable for 5 couples. Well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The 2 coffee pots were a plus for our group. The ocean is literally steps away. The lower deck has plenty of chairs and 2 picnic tables as well as the outdoor shower on the stairs leading to the Beach. Our dog really enjoyed his stay. Beds were very comfortable. Great location and good parking space. Highly recommend Pelican Landing. Than-you John

The Ocean at Your Back Door

I have stayed at a number of oceanfront houses, and this house is truly the least distance from the back door to the water that I have ever experienced. The covered deck with two picnic tables was in use all day every day.

Great Beach Experience

Property is clean and modern. With 12 of us we wanted to do our own meal prep and the kitchen is well furnished with cookware, utensils, plates and glassware. Large dining room table was great for family meals and conversation. Two decks facing the ocean allowed for great views during the day and nighttime. Walking down the stairs onto a fantastic beach going miles in both directions. Easy access to stores and restaurants also. A great place to stay!

Perfect beach location

This is the perfect house for a family beach vacation. 6 large comfortable bedrooms, 3 full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of seating for larger family groups, steps away from the beach. This was our second time renting this property and we will rent again. The owner is easy to contact and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed!
