2022 vacation

Surf City beach is wonderful! Loved our Condo, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Kitchen was stocked great. Only issue was parking, but when reported was solved with a parking pass. Definitely would stay here again.

Nice place! Needs a little TLC

This place is really perfect for beach access, the pool is awesome to help cool off at a long day at the beach. The house was not very clean unfortunately, felt a little grimy upon arrival. Property management was quick to respond to some issues including dirty sheets and the first level back door broken(was not able to be fixed). The issues that were bothersome but not deal breakers were: the trash can was junk, barely held a bag and the lid always had an issue, the table in the dining room is huge and that’s great but it takes up so much room there is barely any room to even sit. The bar stools were just in the way and blocked the walk way. The kitchen had a TON of fruit flies. We bought traps to help clear them but it was so bad. Overall carpets felt dirty, surfaces were sticky, it needs a good deep clean. Again great location, set up of the house was perfect, beds were ok, but needs a little TLC. Thanks!

Beautiful townhouse - Great location - Well-stocked kitchen

Our family of 8 stayed for the week and had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful with its ocean view and beach access across the street. Everyone slept comfortably and there was more than enough room for all of us. We were extremely pleased with how well-stocked the kitchen was! No need to bring anything extra except for a griddle if you are cooking for a larger group. We would definitely consider renting here again!

Nice location, large living space, a few issues

The property is in a fantastic location to the beach. Alot of room to spreadout. However we had some hiccups. We picked this specific place because of the beach location and pool right under the balancy for the winddown time for the kids. Sadly the pool was closed the whole week we were there. This was a huge issue for us because we spent the money for the pool to not have it. The property management (after we complained twice and with a little attitude on their end) got us tickets to a pool 10 minutes away. However, that was not convenient and not why we spend extra money on this location. The upkeep of the house needs work. The faucet was leaky which once we called was fixed in 2 days (but why do we have to do this during vacation?). The beds were hard. The sheets were scratchy and too small. The towels were sparce and scratchy. I feel we spent alot of money to only get about 1/2 of the relaxation and comfort. Honestly I would have been better off spending the money on a hotel room

Great potential!

Great potential! Very spacious and steps to beach! Unit could have been a bit cleaner (especially stairways both inside and out) and a little TLC is needed in the master bathroom. The description should include that you are not allowed to open windows. If we had known that, we would not have selected this rental. Overall, a very nice rental with a little TLC.

Our family loved being so close to the beach. We enjoyed the sand & the waves each day we were there. We had plenty of space in the home and would definitely return in the future.

Paradise G Surf City

Property was as described on the website. Nice ocean views from decks.Ocean was 2 minute walk away.Pool was small but nice option to have. Interior furniture and fixtures a bit dated but clean and comfortable.Only compliant was garbage wasn't emptied from last rental and didn't leave room for us.

Paradise in Grime

The renting agency did the best they could given the condition of the property. The filth and uncleanliness speaks to many years of neglect by the property owner. As soon as we stepped foot into the property the odor of mildew was the first impression. The carpets were not clean or vacuumed and the surfaces of the remaining floors were dirty. As far as functionality, there were not nearly enough towel racks in the bathrooms, there are plenty of dishes, cups/glasses and silverware. The furniture is all dated as well. Unfortunately, the sleeper sofas were less than accommodating and the first night required us to “make due” even though one sleeper sofa was broken and the other one had a mattress that was very badly stained. This again was not the fault of the agency as it is clearly neglect on the part of the homeowner. So we made due the best we could and just had to wash our feet more often because they continued to turn black from the floors. Gross! So advice to the homeowner. Commit to your guests or get out of renting. And as for the value of the rebate...that’s an insult to what we had to contend with as far as the dirt. (Nothing like a vacation you spend the first 1/2 day cleaning.) My advise to potential renters...bring cleaning supplies!!

Great location. Very accurate photos and cool layout Everything was great. We plan to go back! Only a couple things could use updating - the baking sheets and pans in the kitchen are worn and rusted. The TVs say smart tv but I couldn’t figure out if Netflix was an option. It would be nice to have Netflix available. Lastly the pool lounge chairs need replaced by the HOA. I’m guessing the hurricane did them in. They are there broken up.

Very nice townhouse!

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Inn G, finding the house clean, quite comfortable and spacious. Six of us were able to spread out easily, never once feeling cramped. The proximity to the beach is great--just a stone's throw away, and wow, is it GORGEOUS!!! My only negative would be the noise level at certain times, although I suppose it's to be expected in a town home community where people are vacationing. There was one night the neighbors kept us up until 2:30am! I do have to say that Earnest (the owner) really went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and happy during our stay, and even provided restaurant recommendations for us! Thank you so much for a wonderful beach vacation!
