5-star property with 3-star maintenance.We hosted four generations for a week.Property managers were friendly and responsive with communication but there were problems with check-in time and such, blamed on new property management software.House was spacious and well equipped. Kitchen was excellent with seating and counter space to die for. Bedrooms were good size with very nice bathrooms. Screened-in deck was great. Game room and shared pool were very popular. Proximity to state park with great marina was a nice bonus. Everyone loved our stay.But the details. Towel bar and towel ring falling off walls. Burned out or missing light bulbs. Kitchen rug taped together (caused tripping) and covered an HVAC floor vent. Pocket door off its rail. Some slow-draining bathroom sinks. Screened-in deck not screened underneath the gapped decking (presumably allowing our wasp in from below). Official limit of 4 parking spots (for a property touting space for 36). Compared to the big picture, these were inconveniences but subtract a rating star.

Spacious home for family reunion

This house was perfect for our family reunion of 4 families, 22 people. We had two families with small children so the trundle beds along with the king beds worked perfect. Eight grandsons stayed in the lower level by the game room. The pool table and ping pong were a hit. The large sectional accommodated all 14 grandchildren for movie time. The great room on the first floor was also spacious with two large dining tables so everyone could sit and share a meal together. This was my favorite feature! In fact my son said "every house should have two dining tables!" Communication with the host wasn't very timely. We intended to cook all our meals, so I gave her a list of items to check if they were part of the "fully equipped kitchen". I never received an answer until the day before we left. Turned out, it had everything I needed, but it was frustrating that I couldn't get my questions answered timely. The picture of the dining area with the laminate wood floor isn't accurate. Under the tables there are actually two dirty area carpets that are duct-taped together! There are many spots in the flooring that are loose and chipped, so I'm guessing the carpet is hiding some of that. The floors can be a fall risk for tripping. I have contacted the host and sent her pictures, so hopefully these things can be fixed. It's a great house, great location and we had a fantastic time!

Family reunion

Absolutely wonderful. The rooms weren’t small. There was plenty of space for the 10 families and 36 people to hang out, eat, sleep, and play. Will definitely book again if we need a large house for a get together.

Spacious, Beautiful Home Perfect for Large Family Gatherings

We stayed at this incredible home in Hollister, Missouri (near Branson and Table Rock Lake) for a full week with our extended family of 36—25 adults and 11 children. It was the perfect setting for our family reunion!With 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, everyone had their own space, and the layout was ideal for both gathering and relaxing. We especially loved the spacious main living area, two large dining tables, and a well-stocked kitchen that made mealtimes so enjoyable. The covered second-floor porch and lower-level patio with a hot tub offered beautiful views and peaceful places to unwind.The game room was a hit with both the kids and adults—complete with a pool table, ping pong, arcade game, and a large TV area for video games and movie nights. The nearby community pool and view of the lake were added bonuses!We had two small issues during our stay, but management responded quickly and resolved everything right away. Their attentiveness made a great impression.We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a large, comfortable, and well-equipped place for a big group. It’s ideal for family reunions and group getaways!

Had to detour on day one. The original place showed no bunk beds and we got stuck with several bunk beds. This made our trip tough do to the members traveling with age and disabilities. Other than that everything went well.

Great Experience. We would Rent Again!

Great Place for our Men and Teen Boys Retreat. The space and home decor was nice. There were enough cooking appliances and supplies needed for every meal. The grounds at the property was well maintained. The only problem was missing tv remotes in some of the rooms. Thanks for allowing us to use this beautiful home for our Retreat.

Absolutely awesome!!!

This 10 bedroom lodge was just perfect for our family reunion of 25 people. Comfortable beds and amazing daybeds, beautiful decor and a well equipped kitchen. The only negative thing I can think of was not enough wash cloths (1 in each bathroom). We are already planning for next year.

Family reunion

We stayed in this house (about 30 of us) for a family reunion. The house was clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Any issues we had were addressed promptly and without issues. The house was clean and had plenty of room for us to spread out. Love the nearby pool.

Great Spot for Large Family Gathering

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Lodge. The house is huge with plenty of room for a large family reunion or other group. View of the lake is pretty, and you're a short walk to the nice community pool (there's also an indoor community pool for bad weather or staying out of the sun). The kitchen is well stocked with tons of dishware and utensils. Double fridges and dishwashers also helpful. It was too hot out to use the hottub but still nice to have it. You're a short drive/walk from the marina (we rented a boat) and some great walking trails. The house is decorated nicely, the furniture is comfortable and everything works -- there are a few loose handles and scratches and scuffs around, but pretty much what you'd expect in a house that sees a ton of large-groups. I'll say that the property management team was fantastic -- probably the most responsive and helpful I've seen across many VRBO rentals. All in all, I'd recommend this place for your next big group gathering.

Beautiful house! The house is impeccably decorated and so clean. Everyone enjoyed the game room and the screened in deck. It was so nice to sit out on the deck and not worry about bugs. Perfect place for a large crowd.

Wonderful retreat spot

We had 30+ people for a three night stay in this wonderful house. I did a lot of researching and found that this house had the largest and most cozy feeling living room space for large groups. Everyone loved their spacious bedrooms. The kitchen had everything you would need. however, I will say it has nothing extra for instants, bring your own salt, pepper oil, spices, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. We’ve stayed at other large homes and we love it when people leave behind helpful things to keep us from having to run to the grocery store all the time. I also loved how easy it was to airplay music and movies from our iPhones on the televisions. I do wish there was some sort of fire pit on the back porch upstairs for the evenings. We loved being able to run out the backyard to play pickle ball. We went the first week in May and we’re really disappointed to find out the pool wasn’t open till May 15th even though it was really warm outside. But we enjoy the indoor pool, and even some Lake front beach time. They decorated wonderfully, and it really does have a cozy feel, much more than some other places I’ve stayed at. We would love to come back someday!

Parents 50th Wedding Anniversary

We needed a place where we could gather 20 people of all ages from 7 to 69 for celebrating our parents 50th wedding anniversary. This house was wonderful! Great space! Every bedroom but one has its own bathroom too which is so great when you are traveling and all getting ready to go out to shows at the same time. This property also had plenty for people of all ages to do.... hot tub, pool table, shuffle board, arcade games, and more. There is even more to do outside if you are there when it isn't so cold like when we were there. We all agreed that we would love our parents to build a house just like this one near where we all live so we can all hang out together whenever we can and enjoy family time together!
