This was my group's (15 adults) second year in a row to stay at this beautiful, well appointed, and conveniently located property. Prior, throughout, and after the stay, the property manager was very responsive. The only reason I'm giving the property 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the reasons we rented this property was because of the elevator which unfortunately was non-functioning during our stay. We were offered another home that also has an elevator, but it did not have enough bedrooms to accommodate our needs. Not having a functioning elevator - if a critical need for you - is a consideration when deciding whether to rent this property. But, as we all know, anything can, with any property, go wrong. That being said, we'd consider renting this property again knowing that the elevator may not be functioning.

Pros. House was very clean. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we would need, including 3 coffee pots. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space and entertaining things to do in the home. ConsWe booked this house SPECIFICALLY because of the elevator as 3 of our group were handicapped. It was locked so we called to be informed it doesn’t work. That changed EVERYTHING for us. Could only all be together on one of the 3 floors. Leaving those 3 alone.The guide book is not specific to the house. Ex. It said clean the grill, but no explanation on how to turn it from smoker to grill until we searched YouTube. Guide book said thermostats need to be within 2 degrees of each other to work, but you get there and signs say you can’t turn the thermostats above 68. What?! It was a cold rainy weekend. The pool was definitely cold. Be prepared. The hot tub took 48 hours to warm up. We turned it on Fri night and it wasn’t warm enough to use until Sun night (and we were leaving Mon morning). Plus it had lots of bugs & foam in it. If you’re sleeping on the right side of the house, be prepared to wake up to loud pipe noises from toilets being flushed, sink, showers. The pipes on that side must not have gotten secured when the house was built. Some of the electronic games need repair/upkeep. The golf cart had a flat tire so that was not a benefit. Since it was rainy we were only going to use it to take garbage but if it was nice out e would have needed it for some of the guests.

Moms 83rd Birthday

We had an our mom’s 83rd birthday party here. The house was very accommodating and everyone really enjoyed every room having an on-suit bathroom. We utilized the pellet smoker and cooked a delicious brisket which was enjoyed by everyone.

Exceptional Property Accurately Represented

The only "lacking" in stocking at the house was the need for at least another half dozen dish towels and some hot pads. Otherwise, the house has everything I can think of that anyone would need. The property was rented for a family reunion. We had stayed in other properties/another town for the past two years, and the unanimous concensus was that we didn't need to look any further - this is our place! Rooms were spacious, comfortable, well appointed and decorated. Lots of time was spent out on the deck, but also at the dining tables where all 15 of us could comfortably sit. Having an elevator in the house made it possible for some of our physically limited guests to come, along with having one "accessible" bathroom. And did I mention there's a private inside pool as well as a hot tub? The propery manager(s) could not have been more responsive to our communications/notifications. The property is very centrally located - easy access to all Branson has to offer. Bottom line - Without hesitation, I'd recommend this property for anyone's stay.

Simply Amazing stay at Governor's Mansion

Words do not do the property nor the responsiveness of the management team justice. This large, luxurious home which was absolutely beautiful and immaculate, made the celebration of my mom's 89th birthday memorable and fit for the Queen she is. The name, Governor's Mansion is definitely befitting. The only sad part was having to leave!!!

Family Christmas 23

All we can say is Wow, and thank you for an amazing, family friendly experience! This house was perfect for our family get-together. We had plenty of room for everyone, all of the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the main floor was perfect with sitting area to watch football, large dining tables to play games, snack and eat, or visit while cooking. The kitchen was incredible with two refrigerators, two stoves and twin sinks!! We made many meals and enjoyed the setup. We also used the grill, which was awesome. The game room upstairs was perfect for card games and tv for the young adults. The kids totally enjoyed the rec room on the ground floor, and several people took advantage of the hot tub and weight room. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we hope to plan another trip there.

RENT THIS ONE!

This home met all of our expectations and more. Loved the ground floor layout for our large family. Spacious yet cozy. So clean, well furnished, nicely decorated. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Comfy beds, nice towels. The kids loved the two gaming rooms, the hot tub, and the indoor swimming pool! A golf cart at our disposal. Very attentive staff, as well. We really loved this rental home!

Governor's Getaway - Top Notch

This property was just as described in the listing. Everything was perfect from booking to check out. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The amenities were a huge added bonus. The private indoor pool and hot tub were a huge hit. We all had such an amazing time and plan to return again!

Best way to ring in the New Year 10 out of 10 recommend

We went with our friend group to ring in the new year. 15 kids under 11 and 14 adults. we had the BEST time. Plenty to do to keep everyone happy and having fun. Sadly we went to re-book for next year and it's already gone :(

Perfect for Everyone in your Group

This house is amazing. It was a perfect place and space for everyone in our group. It had so much to do in the house we almost did not leave to use the public pool. The golf cart was great as we used it to give rides to the pool and take the trash out. Indoor pool was small but perfect for children of all ages. Loved the hot tub and all the arcade games. Incredible home I would recommend booking this space any day. Host was also accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we might have had. Enough thanks cannot be given for such a memorable stay.

AMAZING!

This house was absolutely perfect. We traveled with a group of 22 and there was something for everyone! The kids and dads loved all the arcade games in the house. The pool was great. Beds were comfortable, house was extremely clean. And the decks and patio furniture were amazing to relax on. We had trouble with water heater one night and they immediately sent a plumber over to fix it and get our hot water working again. Would recommend this house to anyone!

Beautiful spacious home

This home was beautiful! Lots of room options to accommodate our big group. Lots of fun games for kids and adults. Huge outdoor patios on each level with plenty of seating. 2 dish washers, 2 kitchen sinks, 2 refrigerators, 2 washers & 2 dryers! Perfect for a large group. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, extra blankets in the closets. It had everything we needed! Will definitely stay here again!
