An incredible location! We had our wedding here and the host was incredibly hospitable in helping us figure out details and seeing the place before our reservation for setup planning! Can’t recommend this place enough!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. Check in was super easy, with the host providing us with the step by step list of how to get to the property and everything we needed to get in. There was something left from the renters from the weekend before, but the host contacted us right away and they got it picked up the next day. The house itself was clean and spacious. The outdoor grilling portion worked perfect for us as we had a big family dinner one night of our stay. I would very much recommend this house to anyone looking to get away and spend some time on the shores of Lake Michigan. We’re already looking into coming back in the next year or two to spend more time in South Haven and get to know Michigan better. We can’t thank our host enough for their hospitality and quick response time if we needed anything.

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Beautiful location, amazing views and very private. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your stay on the lake. The outdoor areas were the highlight for us as we were either down on the lake, sitting by the shore or out on the deck grilling or chilling. Easy to get to Saugatuck and/or South Haven, but the local stores and sites were more than enough for us. Jeff was incredibly hospitable and accommodating - great owner! If you want to experience Lake Michigan you'll struggle to find a better way than this.

Beautiful Property

This rustic house was the perfect venue for our family's summer vacation. The backyard is insane! The private beach was the highlight. The young grandkids loved the frog pond, making visits mutltiple times each day. Wish we could be there all summer long.

Six of us decided to get together after several years - we could not have picked a better place. There were so many gathering areas (indoor and out) where we could just sit and talk or just relax and enjoy the view - and the views of Lake Michigan were great. The house was perfect for us. We hope to return some day.

50th Wedding Anniversary with our family

We had a wonderful time at this home with our children and grand daughters. The home had everything we needed and the best lake view. We enjoyed playing in the lake, collecting rocks and evening campfires. We felt like we owed Lake Michigan. This was the most peaceful place i have ever been. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked wonderful meals there and in the outdoor kitchen. The many outdoor dining and sitting areas were great. This was a bit of heaven on earth.

Great Lake Michigan views, peaceful location

Our family of 7 fit very comfortably in this quiet home on Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the outside area more than the inside-the yard and sunsets were great as was the outdoor grill. The kitchen was very well stocked and labeled and easy to work in. Wish there had been better lighting in several areas, including the master bedroom. The master also could use additional window treatments. Overall a great week!

Second year just as delightful!

Our family had the best vacation ever last July when we stayed here, and I rebooked soon after arriving home to Kentucky. We looked towards returning all year and we were not disappointed. The kitchen and backyard got a workout, my kids enjoyed a "cold plunge" most days, I spent hours looking for rocks (yet again) and those sunsets...what a show! Thank you, Jeff and Christine, for sharing your warm, welcoming, family friendly home. We Stampers hope to continue a tradition of making priceless memories here!

Absolutely stunning place

Stayed here with some friends and was absolutely beautiful. The pics don’t do it justice. The house is warm and inviting. The outdoor space was amazing and the views from the lakefront are unmatched. Host was very communicative and helpful. 10/10 would stay again!

Voted "Best Family Vacation Yet"

Absolutely wonderful property with something for everyone (plus a personable, informative, quick to respond host...Thanks Jeff!) My husband and sons enjoyed the best views while reading, all the kids loved the kayaks and SUPs, I loved walking the beach looking for rocks. Grandkids had tons of yard games to choose from, along with buckets/shovels/etc for the beach. Campfires at night, coffee with a lakeview in the morning! This house is...quirky, with LOADS of personality. By far, the most comfortable, welcoming, "liveable" vacation home we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. We've already booked for next year!

Awesome Vacation

WOW - all I can say is this house was PERFECT for a week with my entire family (7 adults, 2 toddlers, 2 infants). Jeff, the owner is very quick and efficient with his communication. See key points from our stay below: -When we arrived, the house was very cleaned and VERY organized. Everything is labeled which makes it very convenient for guests. -The house is well equipped for cooking as we cooked dinner each night. -We ate outside every night at the big picnic table out back…it fit all of us comfortably. -The backyard is where we spent most of our time. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard and the adults enjoyed the views of the lake from the patio. -The private beach was very convenient for all. Jeff has made the steep trek down to the beach very accessible with heavy duty stairs. -The house comes with paddle boards, kayaks and a magic carpet to use. My grandson LOVED using the kids kayak and would have spent all day in it if he could. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10. We can’t wait to come back!

A perfect fit

This spacious home was perfect for our family of 8 that included 3 small children. There was plenty of room inside and out for gathering together and for finding quiet time when needed. We enjoyed the beach, the various provided games, the large and well equipped kitchen for making meals together, and the evening ritual of watching that wonderful view of the sunset. Any questions that we had during our stay were quickly answered by the owner who couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We made great memories in a beautiful setting and would love to visit again in the future.
