The cottage location was excellent and we loved the beach access. The cottage was very clean. It was awesome that beach towels. beach chairs pool noodles. and sand toys, if needed, were provided. The stairs were a little confusing and I agree with another review that a sign might make it clearer. However, the people staying in the house with the stairs were nice. Actually, everyone we encountered on the beach was friendly. Check in was super easy and everything we needed was there. The kitchen and living room seeemed to be updated The bathrooms could use an update and two of the beds were not as comfortable as we would like. A deck further out like the 2 neighboring cottages had would be perfect, although we enjoyed watching the lake from the deck we had. Sunsets were beautiful!! There is a hose behind the house for rinsing off. Overall, I would rate the cottage a 4 to 4.5. The fees are rather high, but that seems to be somewhat typical for rentals. Holland is a nice area and Lake Michigan was so beautiful. Unsalted vacations was very helpful and communication was excellent. I would definitely stay at this property or another one owned by Unsalted Vacations again.

Amazing Spot on Lake Michigan

Our family (4 adults and 5 teens) loved our week at this cottage! The air conditioning was a plus even though we had great weather for our stay! The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The back deck almost always had someone on it and we enjoyed all of our meals outside! We will definitely be booking again!

Quiet Cottage on the Beach

This cottage is well appointed and cozy...a perfect place for our first ever big family vacation. We cooked in for several meals and found everything we needed, as well as enjoying the lovely decks overlooking the lake and private beach access. A great property!

Lake Michigan in July

Our property was clean and cozy. It was close to town. The view and beach access was spectacular. My family had a wonderful time. The check in/check out process was seamless.

Well stocked and gorgeous views

We stayed with 3 couples and 4 kids ages 5-9. One couple stayed in the twin beds and kids shared, and we fit perfectly. The location right on the beach is amazing! Sand is soft, water clear. Everything you could want to cook is in the kitchen. Sheets and beds comfortable & clean. Had legos and board games. Lots of beach chairs and some mats available, too. Plenty of outdoor seating in the shade. Thankfully it never rained during our time, but we likely would have headed to downtown Holland 15 min away if it had. Only thing we might bring next time is a hose sprayer attachment or camp shower to get sand off better. Perfect spot to gather 3 generations!!

Great Stay!

Had a great time at this property. In some ways they kind of undersold it as they had more items for the beach there than it says in the listing which was really appreciated. This place is a really good value. The location is spectacular. Only complaint was that the driveway was in kinda rough shape, but nothing our SUV couldn't handle. Can't wait to come back again in the future!

Excellent stay

The house was exactly as described and we all had a great time. We had an issue with a window and the WiFi but the Management co took care of the problem right away. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing environment on the water.

Cozy

The cottage was very cozy. Really appreciated the # of beds. It was nice having 2.5 bathrooms as well. The kitchen appliances and washer and dryer were very modern. Internet speed could be faster given entertainment requires streaming but aside from that it was a very pleasant stay.

Cute cottage

The cottage is small but doesn’t feel like it. Beautifully updated kitchen. Living room furniture is comfortable and there’s seating for everyone. The outdoor furniture is nice. The four bedrooms, two are upstairs and two are downstairs. The washer and dryer and very nice. There are stairs that leads up from driveway to the door and lots of stairs to the beach. It’s confusing which stairs belong with this house, i think a sign stating you share the deck and steps with the house to the left would be helpful. It was nice sitting at the landing on the steps and watching the sunsets or having your morning coffee or tea. It was nice being so close to the lake! Mostly all good, only negative was sharing the property with another house and the confusion about which steps to the beach belong to this house, but nice people where renting while we were there and didn’t mind us walking thru the yard to get to the steps to the beach. It wasn’t a problem. The cottage has everything we could need, beach chairs, tons of beach towels. Some toiletries in each bathroom. It was very cute!
