This place was great! Very clean and compact, but plenty of space for a weekend trip. The hot tub, though next to the road, is shielded by a row of trees so it still felt pretty private! We had a great time here, would definitely stay again!

A Small Place to Get Away To

We planned to be on the go for most of our stay in Saugatuck. So a clean, quiet place for the two of us was all we needed for our long weekend getaway. Parking next to the building was nice. The hot tub was very nice, and the kitchen was stocked with basic cooking accessories and utensils. We walked downtown to shops and restaurants every day. Location allowed us to get to Douglas, Fennville and Holland pretty easily.

Small but wonderful

My partner and I had a lovely stay here. The hot tub was wonderful after spending our days shopping, walking, and enjoying the springtime flowers. It’s a short walk to downtown and the water, We would definitely stay here again.

Accurate and great location

Stayed with my wife for a weekend getaway. Most of everything was perfect! The bathroom had a slight strange smell but it wasn’t too overwhelming.

Cozy and conveniently located

We enjoyed our stay at Lucky Lucy. It was cozy and conveniently located. It was just what we needed for our short stay. The only recommendation we would have would be to add a mirror outside of the bathroom that way two people can get ready at the same time. A mirror behind the door seems like it would be perfect.

The place was perfect for 2 people, wouldnt recommend anymore than 2. Area was beautiful, neighborhood was great. Im 6'2 and the shower was small, holes in the wall, and the hot tub wasn't as we thought. Overall we had a great time.

Perfect Spot for Long Weekend

Cute little studio. Great location. Close enough to walk to most places if need be. Not a ton of space to get ready in the bathroom if doing makeup, blow drying and flat ironing hair, but easy enough to do outside of the bathroom. Would recommend adding a mirror someplace outside the bathroom for these things. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Fun in Saugatuck

First impression of Lucky Lucy began outdoors. This neighborhood is quaint, clean, fun and energetic. There was lots of shopping, restaurants, wine tasting opportunities and people of all ages enjoying themselves. Next, as we walked into Lucky Lucy we were hit with a very damp musty smell. We thought we just needed to turn on the A/C and give it some time. The musty smell, however did not get better. Although we should have called to report this right away, we elected not to. This has been a chronic issue as evidenced by the deep musty smell of the couch and upholstered cushions . The air was so damp even the paper towels on the counter were damp. Although this studio was otherwise clean, the air quality needs to be addressed before I would recommend anyone staying here. Prior to checking out. I reported this issue as well as the hot tub not heating. I appreciate the prompt reply that they would look into the issues and resolve them. I hope this is the case. .

Location Location Location

Convenient to everything, we walked everywhere. Could walk to Baldhead and Lake Michigan except the chain ferry was closed for the season. GPS directs you to stop on Holland but turn onto Lucy and there is the parking. Too many great places to eat but certainly do breakfast At Ida Red. Very clean cottage with nice decor. The problems were minimal but here they are. My wife struggled with door keypad and pulling door closed so lock would unlock. Entryway has a step up and bath has a step up. Elderly in a strange place I thought it could be a middle of the night hazard but needless worry. Thermostat is inches from heat/AC unit, we turned heat up to 84 until room was warm then set on 70 to maintain. Great place, great location, comfy bed and furniture.
