벌레나오고 병걸릴거같아서 샤워만 바드시 하고 차에서 잤음. 이런호텔 소개하면 앞으로 Expedia 에서 호텔예약 못하겟음. 이건 호텔이 아니라 한국의 시골 여인숙 보다 못함.

When we went to check in, they said they don’t book through Expedia. So I had to call Expedia who called the hotel and gave me a credit. The hotel was disgusting. It was under renovation. It was dirty. My husband said the room was dirty and full of flies. There was a couple in the parking lot, a woman sitting in their dead beat car and a man sitting on the ground behind the driver’s side door doing something in his lap. Not sure, but didn’t want to stare and find out. I doubt he was doing the New York Times crossword puzzle. The place was creepy. Take their hotel off your site. I went to get a refund within minutes of paying. They refused a refund. I’ll call the manager tomorrow. Terrible experience.

Terrible

I got there to check in but hotel was close for remodeling. It was available online, that's why I booked. they even didn't response the call. I am still waiting to get my money back. I had terrible time to find other hotel since it was weekend and all rooms booked. I had to come back!!!!!!!

It was closed and condemned.

After an eight-hour drive the Economy Inn in Holland was closed with a condemned sign in the window of each unit. We had not been notified by the hotel or Expedia. We were on the phone with Expedia for an hour but they offered no help. It took us three hours to find a room. We will never book through Expedia again.

Did not stay at hotel

Checked out hotel prior to registering. As suspected the hotel was less than 2 stars as promoted. The motel is used more as a place of residence by the week. A policeman stationed nearby, indicated that the area had less than a desirable record. Expedia should not have had this hotel on its listing. When we called Expedia was less than helpful. We found another hotel nearby, which was definitely a two star, but much better.

Never had hot water, manager lied said it was fixed each day it never was, bathroom remodelling was half done, Sam the manager offered nothing but bad attitude as a confession

Economy Inn not a good place to stay in Holland

The rooms did not smell good, they smelled like old stale smoke. My daughter has allergies and was sick when we left on sunday. Employees where not friendly. We needed more towels and wash clothes and they did not have any. Bedspreads where soiled. We did not enjoy the room at all.

Upon Arrival At Our Destination

The exterior of the Economy Lodge was very disappointing in appearance. The were curtains hanging out of the windows and people leaning out smoking. The interior lobby was very unappealing. The desk clerk was cordial and my wife made the decision she would not feel very comfortable or safe at their motel. She explained this to the clerk and he said we had to cancel within the 24 hour notice period or be charged for the room. On the internet, everything nice / clean / taken care of. In real life, that was totally not the case. We have stayed at Economy Lodges in the past and found them priced right and clean. I am sorry to say, this was not the case at this location. We can not rate the cleanliness / condition of the room because they choose not to be taken to their room. Even though we had to rate the room, two of the people in the party refused to go to the room.

Worst hotel ever. zero rating was not possible

Room full of cigarette smell and I was not able to breathe my whole night. Air conditioner did not work. No change was offered due to Tulips time. Do yourself a favor and stay away. They lost me as a customer forever. Not suitable for family set up.

Disappointing

My husband and I were visiting Holland because our daughter is a student at Hope College. Since it was family weekend we had a hard time finding a place to stay that would also take our dog. It cost us more to stay there than it would have at a nicer hotel. They boasted on their sign that they had a lot of channels, however, they evidently didn't pay their bill because a box popped up on the screen stating that they were about to lose their service. There wasn't enough hot water to even wash my face in the morning. The carpet was worn and there was no chair in the room even though there was a desk. There was a lot of trash outside and we tracked in cigarette butts. There were burn holes in the bedspread.

Had no experience because we cancelled due to the appearance of the motel. Felt it was more like a flop house, rather than a motel.

Never again

I had to call 911 at 2am due to the woman next door screaming "ahhhhhhh!!!! Help me!!!!! Help me!!!! Oh my god! Ahhhhh!!!" So. I didnt want to stay my scheduled second night. Nope. No refund. Flies in room. Tv barely worked. Staff looked like he just crawled out of bed with his shirt half unbuttoned and hair a mess. Not professional. Just a crap experience and will never never stay there again. I gladly paid for the second night i didnt use, and just stayed down the street at a much better hotel for the same price. Well. I survived the night withought getting murdered. Thats the only reason i give it the minimal one star. The place is horrid. Im trying to think of something positive to say about that crap stain. Nope. Cant think of anything.

You Get What You Pay For

Spent two nights at this property because there were no reasonably priced rooms anywhere in the South Haven area. This property was the cheapest property in the area. The room is large and has a fridge. The air conditioner also did a great job. The property is on highway 31 so getting to near by towns was easy. Would have rated the place higher if the room didn't have a slight odor and if the continental breakfast actually had something to eat. A good thing to know is that the restaurant next to the hotel has a great breakfast at a fair price.

Convenient to highway, gas & groceries.

Rooms were newly painted and motel was being reroofed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Were awakened at 4 a.m. by drunks standing in front of our room and arguing.

A place to rest your head, period.

Planning on checking in late, sleeping and checking out early? Then this place would be good. Don't plan on hanging out in room or anywhere else. TV/cable was terrible, no place other than bed to sit. No place to eat food in room.

Would NOT stay here again!!!

Expedia informed me that Economy Inn was the only hotel in the Holland area that offered an in-room Jacuzzi tub, so I reserved the room. When we arrived to check in, we were disturbed to see that the hotel's location is very unpleasant (my husband referred to it as a ghetto and did not want to leave the room after dark!). Other complaints: 1. Our NON smoking room smelled like cigarettes, 2. The bathroom door was partway off it's hinges and would not close, 3. The Jacuzzi tub was OLD and made an extremely loud noise when the jets were turned on, 4. There were children running up and down the outside pathway yelling and adults out there speaking loudly, which we could hear clearly (perhaps the walls are thin?), 5. The bedding and curtains were old and worn and the pillows were flat, lumpy and uncomfortable, 6. There were NO staff available in the office to complain to or to help resolve our issues.

Not great

Hotels in Holland are expensive and fill up fast. Book early!!!! When I made my reservation, it was this hotel or a drive to GR. I paid a high price for a room where the curtains were not wide enough to cover the window, leaving a three foot gap with no curtains. I had a small blanket in my bag and covered the window with that. There was a table, that could be used as a desk, but no chair. You had to do computer work either standing up or laying on the bed. There was no bedside table, so they were using the rack that is meant to hold your suitcase, as a table for the phone. The sign in front said four kinds of HBO, But the TV was so old and buzzed so loud, it was not worth watching. This place should be leveled and replaced with a new hotel.

Run down motel

This Motel was completely run down inside and out. This place seems to be the main motel in the area that allows people to "live" there. Although the motel was "non smoking" our room was FULL of smoke because the people living in the room next to us chained smoked inside, who were relatives of the front desk clerk. The walls were full of random stains and dirt, lights didn't work, toilet didnt flush and when we pulled back the bed spread there was a old wrapper in the sheet. DO NOT book this hotel and expect a relaxing vacation spot. There is also a sign in the lobby saying " If you feel like you need to call the police please call the front desk first and see if we can resolve the issue, anyone who has the police called on them willl be forced to leave."

Terrible hotel

I stayed there because everywhere else was booked. I can understand economy, I did not expect luxury room. But it was dirt carpet, never vaccum, it was dust everywhere . At least sheets were clean.
