Incredible, clean home with plenty of space for everyone. My family came to Michigan to visit family as we live out of state. There was more than enough room for cooking, seating, and lounging. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need for a large group. The game room provided hours of entertainment. Highly recommend!

The home is beautiful, extremely clean, well furnished, comfortable, and has a very well equipped kitchen. The location is walkable to downtown Douglas, and has lovely water views. We were a group of 15 and had plenty of space for sleeping, cooking, and dining. The backyard and roof deck are lovely as well. The hosts were extremely communicative and clear, and the check in and out processes were very easy. Overall a truly wonderful stay in Douglas.

Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. Plenty of space, close to town. Only drawback was the grill wasn’t working. Communicated this to the property owner for repair. Everything else was great!

This property was everything advertised and more! The kitchen was very well appointed. The common areas were open which was great for a group of our size. We were able to walk to Saugatuck downtown in 20 minutes and Douglas was short 5 minute walk. Best spot for both. The rooftop patio was great for gathering with a beautiful view of the water. All bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. One teeny tiny comment, would be the furniture. A few thought there could be more comfortable chairs and the couch was a bit uncomfortable due to fact it was a deep seated couch; not easy on the back. That being said we will be back next year! Wonderful trip was had by all

The house was perfect for our group, it was clean and modern. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great location and beautiful view of the water. Everything we would need was provided by the owner. I wish it was a bit warmer outside to use those amenities but we still had a fabulous time. I would definitely book again.

Perfect Girl’s Weekend

The place was pretty much perfect, the beds were comfy and clean, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need! You also have a beautiful outdoor space and a lake view! My only comment would be that it would be smart to upgrade to a code entry instead of 1 key because we had people wanting to come home at different times. But overall I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a large group.

Fabulous Spot for a Friendscation!

The Douglas modern villa is an incredibly well-appointed home full of every amenity needed for a great vacation. The kitchen was the perfect place for our group of old friends to gather and cook delicious meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and modern. The rooftop deck offers a beautiful view of the water, the backyard has a patio and firepit. The proximity to Douglas village is excellent. We enjoyed strolling into town for coffee, meals, gallery tours. It’s also super close to Saugatuck and all of its offerings. We would definitely return!

Great home

Had a great time staying here with my family. Location is just a few minutes walk from the shops in Douglass. Even more shops are close by in Saugatuck. Home was clean, in good working order. Kitchen was better stocked than most we have seen. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at this beautiful property in Saugatuck and absolutely loved every minute of it. The home was spotless, stylish, and even better than the photos! Everything we needed was provided, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfy beds and thoughtful little touches throughout.The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful. Our host was fantastic, very responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. You can tell they really care about their guests’ experience.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Our family of 9...4 generations, stayed in this fabulous home for 4 nights. It featured well equipped kitchen, spacious backyard for play and lounging, game room, sun deck on the roof and comfortable beds and bathrooms for everyone. Close to walking downtown Douglas, and close drive to dunes and beaches.

Only great things today about the house, the property, the location, and the hosts. We were on a guys golf trip but I have already told my wife we should consider renting for a friends and family trip. 5 stars all the way

Wonderful place

There were 15 adults in our group - plenty of room for all of us for meals and conversation! Very clean. Sleeping accommodations were great - just be aware that the futon in the basement is barely a double size bed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and just about anything you could want in a kitchen and plenty of tableware - all cupboards were labeled! Worked out very well for our group.

Great location for our family.

We had a family wedding at The Ravines and The Ivy House. This property was in the perfect location to those venues; plus walked to downtown Douglas and a 4 minute drive to downtown Saugatuck. The property had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to choose from for us. We had three couples and a single. The home was well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking items (though we ate out) etc..

Perfect Girls Weekend Stay

Five long term friends ages late 60’s to 70’s enjoyed 4 days in this beautifully appointed house with all first class stocking. The house has a roof deck overlooking the lake and a backyard with a fire pit. The modern kitchen is well stocked with all drawers and cabinets labeled. 6 bedrooms with nice quality bedding and bathrooms with plush towels! Property manager is a dream for any issues you have. Quick service with a pleasant resolve. Highly recommend as being a perfect choice for larger groups and families.

Work annual retreat 2nd time

Beautiful House!!

Loved this house. We had a group of 10 and there was plenty of space for everyone!! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and super clean when we arrived! Added bonus - The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on!!

Great stay!

Well organized and well appointed home in a fantastic location! Easy walk to both Douglas and Saugtuck and everything you need for your stay. We stay in lots of VRBO’s and this one is great. We traveled after Christmas with family ranging from 10 to adult and everyone was comfortable. We would love to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of the rooftop area. Loved this house!

Fall Break

The house was great for our group of friends and family. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean. We enjoyed the rooftop seating and fire pit in the backyard. The kitchen was very well stocked which made it easy to make large meals. We were able to walk to shops in downtown Douglas (including the Root Beer Barrel and Upscale Mercantile). Would definitely stay here again!

Great Weekend Getaway in Douglas

We stayed at the Douglas Modern Villa for a long weekend with 8 guys. We were in the area for an annual golf trip. This was the perfect property for our group. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is very large and well maintained. There was enough room for most everyone to have their own space. A few of us shared the bedroom with 3 twin beds, but it was comfortable. The yard is also massive with a great patio and fire pit. The neighborhood area seemed secluded and is very quiet. The house is just a short walk to the water and downtown Douglas. The walk to Sagatuck is reasonable (less than 1 mile). If you have a large group, consider this house! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful spacious and modern villa!

Had a wonderful stay in the modern villa! Fabulous location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very quiet and restful stay for our annual Girl’s Trip. Spacious rooms beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and upgraded bathrooms. Well stocked and large kitchen for cooking. Took full advantage of rooftop and back yard with fire pit. Easy drive to Saugatuck and Oval Beach.
