"The house is beautiful. Perfect for our needs. Concerned that all exits but one were non-functioning. Had trouble with the alarm system. Police came twice during our stay. Host gave us the alarm code after we contacted them about the problem but the alarm was still going off with the police. Many light bulbs need replaced. Just a small issue. Had a great weekend."

"This home is a great option with its location to everything in Toledo and Northwest Ohio. Fantastic view of the Maumee River with a 3 outdoor decks and a sotting area down at the river bank. Some have shared the neighborhood is suspect, but it is an old and depressed area of Toledo. We didn’t encounter one sketchy moment or even a police siren over our 4 night long weekend stay. It was unique and charming with antique details preserved. It was very hot in Toledo when we were there and the AC struggled a bit to cool the hallway and bathroom. "The owners and staff are terrific - very welcoming and caring. The cabin is cute and cozy. The river runs right in front of the cabin, with access to kayaks, etc. right there. Waterville is a very cute town with good eateries. I loved the Toledo Zoo which is nearby. Do be aware, however, if you are looking for an isolated cabin in the woods, this one is part of 12 cabins along the river, like a campground.
