Great location for beach walks and restaurants. Although the pool is small it was very refreshing and convenient. Cleaning staff and security very friendly and kind. We were able to rent beach umbrellas from a next door restaurant which was helpful. There are beach chairs but no cushions. You can however rent those as well. The air conditioning was tricky as bedroom doors need to be closed in order for them to work, but we managed. The twin bed is very small, suitable for a single adult or two children. An excellent stay.

The Villa is very clean, spacious and quiet, with a beautiful balcony to view the ocean. The location couldn't be more perfect, with a stocked grocery store right across the street, with a taxi stand in the parking lot if you need to get anywhere around the island. There is also a nice restaurant/shopping district just a short walk away. Our check in process with the property manager was seamless. It was ideal for a family vacation with our group that was ages 20 - 85!

We had a fantastic stay - the property is really well appointed, has amazing views and is walking distance to all the amenities in Holetown and numerous white sand beaches. The host and on site team were very responsive- we would highly recommend this villa.

The place was just as advertised! Check-in was smooth and we were greeted by Jon, the property manager, with local rum punch and champagne from the host. Since we arrived on a Sunday after grocery stores close, Jon was also kind enough to pick up some essentials from the grocery store and had them stocked in the kitchen just prior to our arrival. We were a pretty large group of 6 adults, an infant and child, but we found it more than capable of accommodating our large group comfortably. It was our first time in Barbados, and I was a little nervous because I hadn’t planned anything specifically for my family to do, but turns out, we were in the perfect location to just step outside and choose our own adventure! Several delicious restaurants within walking distance made dining plans easy, as well as any type of snorkeling or boat excursion. Just walk outside and there are many opportunities to arrange for an excursion spur of the moment, or plan for a different day (our experience at least!) Not to mention Shereen. She kept the place tidy during the visit and cooked an amazing meal for us one of the nights we stayed. Would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone traveling to Barbados, especially larger families in need of more roomy accommodations.

Everything about this VRBO rental was outstanding. From the quick and informative responses from the host and house manager, Shereen the housekeeper and the staff at Villages on the beach. Location was phenomenal right on the beach and walking distance to any amenity we needed. Restaurants in the area are all so good. Six people for one week all loved this property. Would love to come back and will recommend to anyone wanting to visit Barbados.

Fabulous location and host! Look no further if you are seeking a low key vacation in the sun. We have been to Villas on the Beach numerous times and are already looking forward to returning next year. “The View” is an understatement. Wake up to the spectacular sea view and enjoy your morning coffee on the sprawling terrace. Bedrooms, baths and main living area are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to dine in. A great grocery store is located right across the street. John our host was very accessible via messaging and quickly responded to and resolved every question or issue we encountered. This is an ideal place for couples or a family looking to chill and spend time together and the unit is large enough that you won’t feel crammed. Daily cleaning service was really great. Checking in is so easy. The building staff were very friendly and helpful. The area has numerous good quality restaurants for dining out. We enjoyed Nichi, Spagos and the Italian restaurant in the Limegrove Mall…all a short walk. Zachhio’s right next door is a good place for a casual dinner or a rum punch at the bar. Many people raved about other restaurants up the coast which were a 20 minute car ride. We loved staying close and found everything we needed within walking distance. Try the Cliff Bakery for excellent croissants! Our only disappointment was that we would have liked to have stay longer than 9 days but ‘The View” was booked!

Where to begin?? Jonathon (owner), John (manager), and Shereen (housekeeper and cook extraordinaire) all contributed greatly to a most excellent vacation.Jonathon kept in touch throughout the booking and visit. John greeted us, with a much appreciated, and enjoyed, rum punch. Shereen kept us spic-and-span and cooked a superb Curry Chicken dinner for us the evening of our Mount Gay Distillery tour.The View - aptly named and very well located, particularly as we enjoyed a couple of dinners and drinks at The Tides, right next door. The 4 of us very much enjoyed the location and the quality of the villa and the Villas On The Beach property and staff (Kemar, Jenny, Junior, Dwayne).Will we return? Already planning it.

This is a first class property right in Holetown. I would recommend bringing swimming shoes as getting into the water includes navigating a shore littered with tiny rocks. The pool on site is more than adequate and spans the entire length of the complex.

As advertised! Very convenient to Holetown with shopping and restaurants. East access to the pool and a small private beach. Amazing views from the multiple balconies. Jonathan (owner), John (property mgr), and Shereene ( housekeeper) were super responsive and helpful. And we loved Shereene jerk chicken and macaroni pie. Would highly recommend.

Great family getaway

We stayed 9 days at The Villas on the Beach and had an amazing time as a family of 5. From the views of the Caribbean to its location in town, this place is spectacular! Everyone on the property is so warm and kind, making us feel most welcome! We communicated easily with both the host and house manager. Check in was smooth and they also quickly responded and remedied a small issue with an air conditioner censor. We had our own snorkel equipment and could walk out of the villa and snorkel with turtles, rays and even tarpon. We also enjoyed the walkable restaurants and grocery across the street. I highly recommend this host and his villa on the beach!

Location location location! This property has it all- beautiful home on a beautiful beach located within walking distance of anything you need. No car needed! Johnathon was a great host and made sure all our needs were met. The maid (Shereen) came daily while we were at the beach- she did a great job

Nothing short of outstanding

Property was amazing, staff is great, owner was super helpful and responsive. Greeted with a cold drink for the group. Store across the street, great food all around, little shops and great cafe right across the street. central located if you wanted to go anywhere. Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone.

A place to find peace

Our stay overall was amazing. We utilized the beach and the pool the most. Shareene was phenomenal; friendly, helpful with places to eat or where to grab a taxi or whatever your needs may be she will guide you in the right direction.Be sure to say Hi to Jenny the groundskeeper. Always working her butt off to keep the property looking fresh but will always take the time to chit chat while working.Dwayne the front desk guard always had a smile on his face no matter how many times we went in and out at all hours of the night the greeting was the same : ) Would definitely visit again : )

A Week in Paradise

Our stay in Holetown was amazing! The Villa was beautiful, large, safe, clean, and well appointed. The views from the various balconies were gorgeous; amazing views of the Caribbean and breathtaking sunsets at night. The pool was quiet and relaxing, perfect for a quick dip to cool off. The location couldn't be better, just a few steps away from:The beach - lounging, swimming, snorkeling, and a few breezy rum bars :)Amazing restaurants - ranging from budget-friendly to high-endTransportation - Bus stops and a taxi standShopping - The Massey's supermarket is well stocked, and there is a vast array of shoppes at the Chattel houses and the Limegrove Livestyle CentreThe owner was quick to respond to all of our questions during the booking process, and John, the property manager, was very friendly and communicative, and was extremely valuable in helping my family navigate our first (but definitely not last) trip to Barbados.I would highly recommend this villa if you are looking for a calm, relaxing, friendly, and rejuvenating stay on the West Coast. Definitely a five star experience.

Holetown vacation

Our stay at The View was amazing! The space is gorgeous - with plenty of room for the 8 of us and, of course, a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The property manager and the housekeeper, Shereene, were both friendly and responsive. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful villa to enjoy with family- comfortable, oceanfront, wonderful location

Great location. The villa is on the beach. Wonderful restaurants nearby.Supermarket and shops right across the street. Communication with host, property manager and housekeeper was great. We had a delicious jerk chicken prepared by shereene ( housekeeper) and other nights we enjoyed local restaurants which are close by.We found the villa to be very clean and comfortable - a great place to relax and vacation with our family. We hope to return!

Fantastic location…Beautiful villa!

A superb villa located in Holetown close to shops and restaurants so no need for a car. Amazing views from this top floor villa. Access to beautiful seafront walks. A very well equipped and maintained spacious villa with high standards. Shereene the housekeeper was a welcome friendly face and along with John , the caretaker, any requests we had were attended to promptly. The block of villas is well maintained by friendly staff. Communication with the host , Jonathan , was excellent. He was understanding , knowledgeable and very helpful with any queries we had. Great holiday! Great villa!

We had the most incredible stay at The View. The apartment is beautiful with breathtaking views. The location is perfect; restaurants, shopping and water sports all on the doorstep. Tides restaurant an absolute must! We look forward to our next trip.
