This was probably one of the best stays in Switzerland and France. We booked for only one night, Andreas and Jules were so courteous that felt like staying additional night had our itinerary provided that opportunity. Rooms are well maintained and breakfast was fresh and service like family

The hotel and the room is older but ok. For us the bed was terrible, the mattress was too hard and we had back pain all morning. The breakfast was perfect and very tasty and the staff friendly.The duvet is very thin.Was freezing during the night.

At checkin, we were greeted by Sharon who has a "bubbly"personality. Check in was quick and efficient. The chalet room was clean and had a beautiful mountain & distant waterfall view. At breakfast we were greeted by lovely Ivona, who is so very nice and sweet. Breakfast was a delicious buffet. The township is quiet and quaint. The property is also a 10 minute walk from the Ballenberg Swiss Open Air Museum.

Das Hotel ist sehr nett, schön gelegen etwas abseits, sehr ruhig. Das Familienzimmer war super, sehr sauber, auch mit Hund kein Problem er durfte mit in den Speisesaal zum Frühstück. Das Frühstücksbüfett ist etwas einfach. Wir wollten noch Rühreier extra, hätten Sie natürlich bezahlt, gab es leider nicht.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was delicious. Plus, the view from my room was absolutely beautiful!

Really great value for the area, nice, simple and would have no hesitation staying there again. The best thing for me were the staff, the receptionist & waitress were really lovely and really made my stay great!

Great place, people - avoid during heatwave
We really enjoyed staying here. The only issue we had was that our room was incredibly hot. We did visit during the heatwave. It was a very small air-conditioner in the room. It was not up to the task.

Great little hotel in small Swiss village. Location is only 25 minute drive to Interlaken for all activities. View is amazing from all rooms. Only concerns were that wifi was very slow and breakfast did not have any cooked items (eggs, sausage, etc.). Other than that I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay!!!
Extremely knowledgable, friendly and helpful staff. We felt very welcome. Meals, breakfasts and dinners were top-notch. We enjoyed the use of fresh local produce and enough variety to suite any taste. Location close to the open-air museum was handy. Perfect for us.

Brienz is a small charming town close to interlaken surrounded by lakes, mountains- picture perfect post card town. We had a plesant stay at alpenrose. Staff was very helpful, friendly, great view of the mountain ranges from outdoor patio.

The hotel is beautifully located in a quiet Swiss village with wonderful views of the countryside and mountains. The rooms are excellent and some have a balcony which is very pleasant. An excellent breakfast buffet with local foods and great service.

在Brienz湖東岸的一個小鎮Hofstetten, 環境幽雅～可以在戶外用早餐或是晚餐，晚餐可以預訂一人是32CHF 老闆據說以前也是個資訊IT～服務人員和老闆都蠻友善的，早餐提供許多水果和一些蔬菜、優格、起司、火腿、麵包等等，也可以跟他們點炒蛋，使用漂亮的玻璃盤看起來賞心悅目 有提供咖啡/茶水可以自行泡來使用，地點位於1樓 價格上也很不錯，尤其可以免費停車是自駕推薦的飯店

The hotel is nice and clean. Hotel staffs are super friendly. We had one early morning train and we could not find a taxi. The owner of the hotel dropped us at the station on early morning. He was so helpful. Definitely recommend to stay.

Employees were very kind, and everything as clean. they accommodated our late checkin. Breakfast was great with breads, boiled eggs, lunch meats, cheeses, cereals, etc. Very close to Ballenberg museum (If you go to that museum plan on spending several hours-we only went for a couple of hours, and didn't really get to do much) warning: Freeway on south side of lake Brienz closes at 8:00 PM, so we had to go on the north side, through Brienz (after getting hopelessly lost-Don't attempt to go on the south side of the lake at all-after 8 PM!)-I think it will be closed at least through 2024.)
