Nice & quiet apartment with good view
As stated in the title. Just a note about laundry machine is placed too high. I had to stand on chair to load detergent. Dryer did not work. We ended up hanging to dry our clothes around the apartment while we were sightseeing in the city.

A fabulous find
I stayed here with my partner and our 7 m.o. The apartment was perfect-very well located, gorgeous view, bright and really thoughtfully equipped. Carol was a terrific host - accomodating and responsive.

Truly outstanding...
Better than the pics! Outstanding sunny apartment suited perfectly to our requirements. Excellent quiet location and only a couple of minutes walk to Salamanca Pl. The homework has certainly been done taking great care to include everything one needs to make a stay easy. Without a doubt we'd love to be back again.

Summer break
We loved the location of this property, and walked absolutely everywhere (mostly to offset the amount we were eating and drinking!). At the end of the day, the bed was sooo comfortable and inviting so we woke up refreshed and ready to go.

Perfect Location - Lovely Views
Near the top of a hill in Battery Point. Very close to restaurants, pubs, and Salamanca Markets. Second bedroom doesn't have a door and is a pullout couch. Would be fine for kids.

Carol's apartment is perfectly located for our stay in Hobart. It is well stored with essential supplies, clean and comfortable. Thank you Carol for kindly letting us check in earlier to store our luggage. Will definitely stay here again!

Views, comfort, convenience.
Battery Point is the quintessential Hobart experience. Scarlett's location, ammenity and design was a fabulous value add to our 5 day Hobart adventure. We have been to Tasmania many times, however, this particular sojourn was made extra special by our stay in Scarlett's. Thanks to Carol for your attention to detail with the apartment fit-out and generous pantry options. Great coffee & 2L of fresh milk on arrival was a lovely detail. We'll be back. Rob & Karen

Comfortable apartment in excellent location
This apartment doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t be fooled. It is a sizeable apartment with everything you need. Wonderful location with a scenic 5 min walk to Salamanca. If you like running, easily to find a beautiful run around inner Hobart. Easy check in, good communication

Amazing location overlooking beautiful Derwent River and historic Battery Point
We had a wonderful stay at Scarlett's by Salamanca. Amazing location was within walking distance to all the cafés, pubs and restaurants of beautiful historic Battery Point to the south and buzzing Salamanca Place and the Waterfront (including ferry to MONA) to the north. Stunning views across the Derwent River. We had excellent communication from Carol, who was flexible and accommodating throughout our stay and gave us some brilliant recommendations for local cafés (we loved Ozus on Hampden Rd for coffee/breakky/friendly service in the lovely courtyard). The apartment had everything we needed, was stocked with coffee, tea, milk and cereals and was beautifully heated including heated towel rail in the bathroom. Offstreet parking was convenient as surrounding streets restricted to 2 or 3 hour parking on weekdays. We highly recommend Scarlett's by Salamanca!

Scarlett's on Battery Point was everything we expected from the listing. A short walk through Princes Park delivered us to the docks for great food and music as well as access to Mona Roma. The apartment was warm and very comfortable with a fabulously well-equipped kitchen. Best bed I've slept in away from home.

Hidden Gem
This property worked really well for us. Does not look much from the outside, but the apartment is great. Very comfortable, well appointed and maintained with some nice touches. The location is also perfect, in the heart of Battery Point and a short walk to some of the best attractions Hobart has to offer. Highly recommended.

Great views over the river Derwent. Easy walking to Battery Point restaurants and pub. Easy walk into Salamanca and the main city centre. The communication related to the accommodation was perfect, the accommodation was clean, well presented and had all the bits and pieces required for a comfortable stay.

All we needed in a perfect location.
The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped and has a nice outlook down to the bay. The location could not have been better - just a short walk to Salamanca one way and to Battery Point cafes the other way. Garaging was handy for our small hire car.

Fantastic apartment
Wonderful apartment which is well equipped and very clean with many special touches. Great location just a couple of minutes walk to Salamanca Place with loads of great restaurants and bars. Carol was a delight and responded to all enquiries promptly. Will definitely stay again.

Exactly what we were after
Accommodation was beautiful and modern but fit into the surrounding area well. Only downside (not owners fault) was that the garage entrance was too steep for our rental car. Would 100% choose to stay here again. Location was perfect and all around a great place to be.

Fantastic property and wonderful host
We have been travelling to Hobart for years but we found this property to be the most convenient and well set property we have ever stayed in. Everything you need is here. Plus it is spotlessly clean. Wonderful views too The host, Carol, was an absolute delight to deal with. We shall definitely return to this property Well done!!

Carol our host, thought of everything. Towel warmer in bath. Stocked fridge and kitchen. Netflix on TV Lovely filtered views Very good bed Lots of little things: Laundry soap Dry rack AND even spare shaving kits! We spent 4 nights. Could have made it a week. The hood had wonderful restaurants in EASY walking distance. Hobart is a cool town.

Cosy and convenient
Carol's property was just what we needed for a winter get away in Hobart. The kitchen is really well equipped, with sharp knives, all the supplies you'll need and a really good selection of tea/coffee/milk/oil/cereals. The apartment is comfortable and cosy and has a lovely view down to the water. And the location is superb. We easily walked to Salamanca markets, Battery Point, Sandy Bay. Yet, we were out of the city in 15 mins. We'd love to stay again.
