Lovely and quiet. Shower was amazing, lots of hot water. Bathroom a bit small, but functional. Would have been good if the drier in the laundry had been working. Overall great place to stay and lovely food.

Disorganised. I rang to check that late check in was still ok. Yes she said. When I arrived doors were locked and after hours bell was not responded to. I found an alternative entrance eventually. Then the guy checking me in was slow, fussing around, and couldn’t find the keys to the room. He wanted me to wait whilst he looked more, but I was dead on my feet and asked if he could just allocate another room which he did. I bought a drink, 1 shot of liqueur barely a mouthful $12.50 when I was shocked at the price and said so, the bar tender was very rude. The room was tiny but very clean. Bathroom was tiny but very clean. Bed was comfortable. Prepackaged breakfast was appreciated.

Not many reviews on accommodation so took a chance for a friends wedding as we heard it was recently refurbished. Rooms looked nice enough but they were just dirty. Linen clean but there is a window that you cannot close in the bathroom with brings in debris from outside as well as being noisy. Toilet was dirty on arrival and spoke to cleaners the next day. They apologised and said they would fix it. They did not. Mentioned it again the following day and they were adamant that they cleaned it. Had to show the pee stains to the cleaner which she blamed on the open window debris? Spoke to management that offered a couple of drinks. Toilet was cleaned on day 3/3. Our friends were in the room across the hall and they had no hot water and a dribble of pressure. They had to use our shower. Cleaners and Management were informed but nothing was done. Otherwise staff friendly and food great. Would never go back and honestly cannot recommend.

I stayed at The Mont as I wanted to be close to MONA for the Heavenly Beings exhibition (which was great). I came by public transport which worked for me. Had a delicious evening meal Pork Belly and had breakfast next door at Gioconda so very convenient. A very comfortable stay and a great night's sleep, thank you.

It was a lovely place. I eat there only once because of one safe member she made a big thing of tables there was about 10 tables.she put me right a front.after that a couple ask another safe were they could say the safe member said. any where you like

Stay was ok, had some issues with checking in but these were amended. Rooms are small but clean. We also could hear everything happening in the hallway but didn’t seem to have issues with hearing from other rooms. Bed was comfy.

the rooms were updated, clean and they had a few extras that impressed us. Breakfast box, cleaned well and a few touches like the way the toilet roll was detailed, towels replaced daily. Disappointed we coudlnt book in for a meal but that was due to the dining area being fully booked re Valentines day, so we understood.

Best budget accommodation we've ever stayed in. Newly renovated, great beds and bedding, modern bathroom, little extras that we've not seen elsewhere. Adjoining the pub which has a great bistro with seniors meals, excellent value and great staff. Very happy with our stay and highly recommend

Accommodation facilities were near new. Beds were great, linen was crisp and clean. Only down side (small inconvenience) was the sink was tiny, with only a shelf under the sink for storage.

Preisgünstiges modernes Motel
Mit dem Auto sind es etwa 15 Minuten bis Hobart. Das Zimmer war recht neu und gut eingerichtet, aber wie das Badezimmer sehr klein. Das Waschbecken könnte es ins Guiness-Buch schaffen. Aber es war sauber und ruhig. Zum Komplex gehört auch ein Restaurant und ein Pub.

Good location, quite and clean
Only one detail was negative: The restaurant closes at 8 pm. When we wanted to have dinner after a long day-trip through the island, at around 8:15 pm, we were denied. It is okay when a normal restaurant does this. But a hotel restaurant, who's bar is open until midnight and who has a casino area as well should be prepared late dinners as well.

Mostly 5 stars because its great value for money, near Mona and the drinks are well priced. The toilet did 'shudder' and I needed to turn it off to sleep (reported). I wasn't impressed by the undercooked pizza. But they were super busy and it fed me. I stayed of a Friday night, while not that quiet it's a pub. I slept. All good. You won't be able to 'sleep in', well at least on the weekend, but you should be busing/walking to Mona to catch the Ferry to Salamanca Market anyhow! Basically if you want 'bang for your buck' and a short stay, this should do the job.

The room was small, but the amenities were excellence. I love the rainhead shower with good pressure. The staff were great and very accommodating to an extra 1hour for late check out for Cadbury marathon runners. Good on you.

Southern Tasmania
Upon arriving at reception, found that they didn't have a booking for us. After some time the original documentation was found and we had been inadvertently booked in for the following night. The hotel only had one other room available, but an upgrade to the one we had booked. Thank goodness for this, otherwise don't know what we would of done. More than happy with the room that we were given at no extra cost. Bigger room, a bed each, even a breakfast to go each. The only other issue was the bathroom only had a small vanity and you were unable to place any toiletries on it and the water sprayed out when the tap was on. The seniors meal that we had in the restaurant that evening was great and good value for money.

There is nothing to like about this property. Maybe an overnight stay you could tolerate but I stayed there for 6 nights. The rooms are very small. The double/queen bed was up against the wall. If two people were staying in the room the person against the wall had no bedside light and to get out of bed would have to climb over the other person. Breakfast consisted of a small box with packaged cereal, a rectangle very flexible container for the cereal, a small long life milk, small Just Juice orange juice, a small museli bar. Coffee & tea making facilities were available in the room. To get to the refrigerator and coffee making facilities, the suitcase had to be moved and the television had to be pushed back against the wall or you would hit your head. It was noisy. The rooms had no noise control. Doors banged, outside car doors banged and engines started. My bed sheets were not changed although clean towels were available each day. The bathroom was so small. To close the shower door you had to step into the bedroom first. Reception is at the bar and they forgot to tell me when the room was available. There is absolutely nothing that would beckon me to stay there again. I might add this property is owned by Wrest Point Casino.
