Fabulous property in amazing location

17 of us stayed at the property and loved every minute. The rooms were comfortable, the views amazing and the location was perfect. Would highly recommend for a stay in Hobart.

This house is incredible - we absolutely loved it. Gorgeous views, perfect for our group of friends to hang out and enjoy our time in Hobart with a feeling of luxury and “something a bit special”. Short walk to nearby store and not far from town, close to Mona etc. Mark, the host, is lovely - extra touch of care given in this experience!

Wow what a house!

The photos do not do this home justice.. there were 13 adults and 3 children in our group and the house accommodated us all effortlessly. The location is truly stunning.. we watched dolphins off the balcony and the kids loved playing hide and seek throughout this big inviting property James was so fabulous to deal with and definitely made the stay even more enjoyable..5 stars.. highly recommend, I’d give more stars if I could!!

The Best Holiday Home.

Wow wow wow! This holiday house is something special. It is an absolute show stopper. It is very easy to see why it is in the best spot. It sits in a position of perfect elevation, the surrounding water views are out of this world. The walking track and facilities are amazing. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place for our family to get together. 7 nights wasn’t long enough! Thanks for having us, very highly recommended.

Amazing place

We were a group of 14, with a mixture of adults, teenagers and toddlers. The place is amazing. It has everything you need. Massive kitchen, huge bedrooms. It’s all very modern and clean. Outside is spacious. The kids loved kicking the ball and walking lakeside. Everything is also close by. We had an amazing stay. The owners are so accomodating, and only a phone call away. Highly recommend this property with anyone with a large group.

Beautiful home for multiple families

This was a great place that easily accommodated our group of three families. It was on a beautiful property with a great walking path, the kids loved watching the geese in the water, and exploring the riverside. The kitchen and dining areas were a good setup to cook for our whole group of 14 people, with plenty of refrigerator space for groceries. We were close to town but still out far enough to have plenty of space. Our host was very communicative and checkin and checkout were super easy. It was great to open the windows and let the breezes come through, wish we could’ve stayed longer!A couple of notes- one of the smaller bedrooms has a large opening above the door so doesn’t totally seal off from the hallway, and bring all pantry items beyond coffee, sugar, salt and pepper.It’s a lovely house!

Amazing property!

Stayed here for a weekend away with girlfriends and loved this house. Immaculately clean, modern style with stunning views, this property was exactly as advertised and did not disappoint. Communication with host (James) was easy and he was always lovely to deal with and helpful with any queries that we had. We came to Hobart for a concert which was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute but it turned out to be a blessing as it meant that we got to spend more time enjoying this amazing house. Early morning walks meant that we saw dolphins in the bay, families of black swans, lots of ducks and met friendly locals walking their dogs. Added bonus - the bathrooms were very well stocked with handwash, bodywash, shampoo & conditioner which we thought was a nice touch. Hosts James and Sarah also left us a bottle of wine to enjoy! Don't hesitate to book this property, you won't be disappointed.

What an amazing weekend and a fantastic house in the most idyllic location.We had six dads and six teenagers and it worked perfectly. Plenty of space, very comfortable beds, a great kitchen and barbecue setup, and a huge TV downstairs which was ideal for watching the Red Bull Hardline replay together.An incredible stay all round. My mother turned 90 in October in Lindisfarne, Tasmania so my wife and I decided to find a house in the Hobart area to take the whole family from Perth WA to celebrate. We were a party of 8 adults and 7 children (aged 5-14) and the house at Old Beach looked as tho it would accommodate all of us. It surpassed our expectations. So much space - living areas upstairs and down enabled us to have some adult time separate from the kids; bedrooms and beds galore; a huge entertainer’s kitchen and massive dining table - where we catered a lunch for 21 people comfortably; a magnificent master suite; multiple balconies; and spectacular views from the floor to ceiling windows. The property ran down to the river - there were rabbits, water birds and even a couple of seals visited. The Old Beach path was just outside our door for walks, and the house was only 15 minutes from Hobart.We had the most incredible week and I can’t recommend the house highly enough. A huge thank you to our host Mark.

Touch of paradise

What a great place to stay and relax. Housed 10 adults comfortably. What a great host James was, the basics were available tea, coffee and milk so we didn't have to panic.
