I was going to contact Expedia directly when I was done with my 28 hour day of travel but I’d love to breach the subject right now. Showed up for check-in time as per the listing, nobody on premise, had to find a neighbor who didn’t speak my language to help, was told room wasn’t cleaned and had to wait and hour for it to be “cleaned.” Arrived in the listing, the entirety of our stay, well documented which I will provide, there was a foul smell of feces or decay coming from one of the bathrooms. Even after an attempt was made to “remedy” the issue, the smell lingered throughout the listing and was asked by the property owner (who never showed up, just a woman who appeared to oversee the property) to go and fix the issue myself. Truly an awful experience, paid for an entire unit and apartment with common spaces (kitchen and additional bathroom) and was fully confined to one room to avoid deathly disgusting smell. Again, all documented and will be shared once my travel is finished. Somebody reach out to me so I don’t have to fully take this to my credit card company and dispute the charges. Never once was offered money back or any sort of alternate arrangements.
