"Easy check in, nice guy behind the bar and the room was very clean. It was just a bit dated, but the pub obviously is full of history, so maybe the room suits the surroundings."

"Lovely comfortable stay. Charming and vibrant village pub with good selection of beers and a good meal. Room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was it was quite hot at night time and the window didnt open much. A fan was provided in the room so Im guessing this is a regular thing. Would definitely recommend though."

"The Belfry is a unique old building with a first class modern interior. The room were very well appointed with alll the usual facilities one would expect from a high class hotel. The breakfasts were individually cooked and presented in a timely manner, with a wide and excellent selection to choose from. This was our first visit to the Belfry and it certainly won’t be our last. Jeff Winstanley"

"Hotel was in good condition, however one of the lights for bedtime reading was blown and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied, but for one night, it was ok. Food was not the best both breakfast and evening. Breakfast hot food was barely warm and evening was the same after waiting 30mins after ordering and only being us and another couple dining. There was a restaurant next door however they fill up fast and had no spaces for us, hence eating in the hotel. In review....book the restaurant next...

"We stayed for 2 nights in the family room which had a lovely comfortable king size bed, ensuite with large walk in shower and air con which was a God send. Very clean and quiet. The staff are lovely, food and drinks reasonably priced, breakfast choices good. The beer garden needs some attention but is secure if you have children or a dog. Steep stairs to the rooms which were a bit difficult with our elderly dog but over all a great stay. Please note, although very dog friendly they do charge...
