"I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful."

"Incomoda, calor horrible y con las ventanas abiertas no se puede dormir porque se escuchan los coches. Nos hemos encontrado comida de averigua quien. "

"Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles."

"Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again."

"Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok."

"Todo perfecto en la casa de campo"

"Cuando hice la reserva no se me avisó de que no había servicio de restaurante ni para cenar ni desayuno."

"Food excellent and good value, room nice, clean, they left fresh milk in the room. All staff really friendly and helpful. would go again."

"Un poco complicado encontrar la entrada, pero por lo demás muy bien. Nuevo y cerca de la catedral."

"Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms. It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean. Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff...

"The staff"

"The worst experience at reception I have ever had, I’m a world traveler and I have seen everything but never such a disrespectful treatment at check in I ever had, this hotel never again "

"Es un Pub con encanto Las cenas fueron muy buena"

"Fantastic hotel and pub, very cosy and set in a fab location. The room we stayed in was delightful, very large with great amenities. Food was very tasty and the breakfast was plentiful and hot with a good variety of continental and hot breakfast items to choose from (full English including veggie option). Great to have onsite parking too. Will definitely be back thanks!"
