Everything was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect get away for two people. We spend some time at the swimming hole and hiking near by. Marcy was super quick to get back to us when we had a question.

Nice little getaway not too far from everything...

Nice little getaway not too far from everything. It was nice to unplug and relax for a few days. Dry river is VERY close would be awesome in late spring early summer if you want a "basecamp" to fish for Brook Trout. A couple really nice deep fishing holes a short walk from the cabin. Had a blast and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Cabin!

28th wedding anniversary, this cozy cabin nestled in a peaceful, serene spot was just what we needed. Everything was perfect! We had coffee by the river and walked to the blue hole and just sat in awe of the beautiful view!

Perfect cabin for a nice get away. Cabin has everything you need. Plenty to do outdoors such as hiking or short drive to Harrisonburg with plenty of restaurants and night life. Very highly recommend

Little Get away

Over all we had an amazing stay and things were just as listed. There were some cobwebs around the light as soon as you come in and some trash under the sofa area when we moved it around to fit our blowup mattress. We always love our stay and definitely will be coming back

Amazing Host and Cabin!

Marcy's cabin was the perfect place to get away from the craziness of DC on July 4th. Our dog is absolutely terrified of fireworks and we didn't hear a single boom or pop while at the cabin. The cabin itself was also perfectly cozy and had everything we needed to cook and relax. While it feels remote, it's only a short drive from downtown Harrisonburg and some wineries. The swimming hole was a nice bonus, especially for our water obsessed dog. Lastly, Marcy was super fast to respond to us when we struggled to get the upstairs AC to work and helped us fix the issue in no time (it may, admittedly, have been user error - sorry, Marcy!). We'll definitely be back!

Amazing Weekend

If you’re thinking of booking, just do it! This cabin is perfectly located and has everything you need. We spent a glorious few days by the river, hiking nearby trails, and enjoying Harrisonburg. The cabin is comfortable and set up perfectly for a quiet and relaxing weekend. Fully stocked and clean it’s worth every penny. Really enjoyed our weekend there.
