I have stayed at the main casino hotel, the Grand Hinckley Inn, and now the Chalet's in the RV park and I give them all 5 stars. The Chalet's are very homey, full kitchen, nice big bathroom, comfy bed. I highly recommend staying here

I like how cute and plenty of room the cabin had. Only complaint was the fridge. Did not smell good.

Thank you for your review. I appreciate hearing comments from our guest. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. I would like to get some more information about your stay. Can you tell me what Chalet you stayed in? I will have housekeeping clean the ceilings and cobweb. Do you know the name of the staff member so I can address the rudeness? The Casino Hotel in Hinckley and Mille Lacs are is in the process of remodels.

Nothing provided to you besides paper towels and linens. No hand soap. No pans or dishes! For as much as we paid and everything we had to buy we could’ve stayed in a fully furnished and stocked Airbnb absolutely ridiculous and extremely unhappy.

We have stopped offering dishes during Covid. Unfortunately, we are not bringing dishes back to the chalets. We are sorry for your inconvenience.

Good stay
We stayed in a Park Model at the RV park. They are under staffed so we hand to go to the hotel/casino to check in. The blinds we all broken up and there were not enough pillows and blankets. It was my Mom and I and i slept on the hide a bed. The mattress pad was all tore up and mattress of course was not in good shape. But all was quiet and clean. Not enough towels or coffee for a 3 night stay but we were fine, we made do.

Didn't like for many reasons! Charged us more than advertised, gave keys that didn't work (got locked out in -40degree windchill weather with dog for over 20 minutes), got stuck in driveway- (never plowed our small driveway), RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL maintenance/security workers, miscommunication between employees (cost us more money), and charged for new key that was taken by employee. We asked for discounts because of their negligence (could've been deadly) and ruined a one-time vacation in 3 years with family we haven't seen in years! The supervisor said that they could not do this because we went through Expedia! Being locked out of our chalet with our dog because the key did not work could've killed us if a good Samaritan hadn't come along 25 MINUTES LATER! Minus degree temperature and 40 below windchill was VERY, VERY dangerous! We should never be charged for all the trouble, horror, danger, and major inconvenience we were put through for 4 days! We stayed at the chalets at Grand Casino in Hinckley, Mn. because it welcomed pets. Playing at the casino was the only good thing- we went 1 time the day before we left. Never again will we ever go back there, and we will tell as many people about this nightmare!

Deck was worn and charge/deposit for room keys 25 charge seems steep. The shower was warm and bed was pretty comfortable. The pool was warm but already seen lots of leaves and debris in it.

Terrible I drove all the way up Hinckley an hour drive just to get here for them to tell me they gave away my chalet that I paid for so I had notionally to stay in with my dog when I got up here once again they gave away my room that I paid for before coming

Definitely will stay again!
The stay was amazing the little cabin was clean the staff were friendly. The outdoor pool was fun but could be cleaned better. They have a playground for the kids. All around had a great time!

We overpaid for this “chalet” with a “full kitchen”. Luckily, we didn’t need it to be that since we came in late and stayed just the one night. It was actually a small mobile home with very basic furniture and NO KITCHEN ITEMS of any kind! We had a family reunion in the pool area the next day. Even though pets are allowed in the chalet (for an extra $35), they are not allowed in the pool area. I spent the entire afternoon outside of the reunion since I had no place to leave my cat. I felt the woman who informed me of this was rude, telling me (without provocation) that if they caught me in there, I’d be removed.
