Great location and calm neighborhood- good for families

Overall this is a great condo with a great location minutes away from the beach, in a quiet neighborhood so ideal for families. Close to restaurants, grocery stores etc. However, the air flow in the primary bedroom is really low especially at night which we didn’t love. And the pool is a little outdated and may be in need of a clean/update, one of the bedroom closet doors is broken which gave us a little scare when our daughter tried to open it. Other than those issues, great stay.

Hope to return!

The first impression I got was how immaculately clean this VRBO was. As a nurse, this is so important to me. From top to bottom, even the floors felt like home they were so clean. The beds were comfy to help us get a good night’s sleep for all the fun we had at the beach. The set up for our dog was perfect, complete with a cage and dog food and water bowls and his own little space. All of the appliances were clean (and most seemed new!) and easy to use. We like to prepare most of our meals at home to eat healthier and we had everything we needed. We had a blast playing Hilton Head-opoly- one of the many games provided -for some family fun to wait out rain/storms. The beach cart really came in handy getting our things to and from the beach. We had plenty of towels and wash clothes provided and they even had little toiletry sachet bags with soap, lotion, etc. It was clean.It was comfy.It felt like home away from home. Lots of nice things were included - paper towels, dish washer pods, etc. You could tell the owners put a lot of care and attention into making it nice. The only picture I have is playing the board game but all of the advertised pictures accurately depict the VRBO. We really loved this place and hope to use it again in the future. 5-stars! Thank you to Pam and Paul!

Great spot

Unit was very clean, well equipped and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood is dog friendly. Very easy check in and check out process. Pam and Paul were excellent hosts and answered all questions fast and efficiently. We are glad we chose this property.

Great condo. It has all you need

Good location, a few minutes walk from the beach. The condo is clean, and it has all that you need. Pam is quick to respond and she was helpful when we needed her. We had a very nice time there and we would stay at this condo again. Thanks Pam, for the last minute request!

Great Hilton Head Find!

This was the perfect condo for our stay. We were so close to the beach and the walk there was on a tree covered sidewalk. The entrance to the beach was one of the best I have seen and less crowded than other areas. I loved having some outdoor spaces and everything in the condo was lovely!

We have stayed in the Stones Throw complex before. The location is great, close to the beach and dog friendly. This condo is very nice, well equipped and clean. Very enjoyable stay!

Great location

This condo is in a great location close to the beach. If you’re looking for a short trip with a dog friendly condo this is the place. It’s a bit small for more than 2-4 people to stay comfortably, especially sharing the one shower, and the door to that bathroom doesn’t latch.

Hilton Head Getaway

We had a wonderful time.. The townhome was clean, very well stocked with anything that you could possibly need… Location is great… easy walk to beach and close to all shops and restaurants.. Loved that I was ableTo bring our little dog with us.. Definitely look forward to visiting again..

Great locale and pet friendly

The unit is in a good location a short walk to the beach. Pet friendly which we needed for our two small dogs. We felt the unit could use some updates. The photos do not depict how dark it is inside either. Windows do not provide much light. The condo could have been better stocked as well. No ironing board and iron. An ancient wall mounted hair dryer. Haven't seen one of those in 30 years. Just tuck one in a drawer for guests to use--one that has a little power. Finally, the outdoor area could have been better maintained. Leaves and debris were on the patios.

Great October Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. Property owners were very responsive when we had a brief internet outage due to their internet provider. Great communication preparing us for our stay. My wife and I enjoyed walking to and on the beach and we discovered a nice loop walk through Port Royal (about 2.8 miles) which we took every morning. Thanks so much!

Our stay at Sea ‘N Shade

We had a great stay! The condo was perfect and exactly as advertised. It was a very short walk to the beach and all of the bike paths were awesome!. We couldn’t have picked a better place for a short get away.

Comfortable condo close to the beach

The condo was just a described in the listing. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for meal prep. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Pam was extremely responsive to a couple of issues that were no fault of hers. Having a kennel already in the condo was extremely helpful. Walk to the beach was an easy 10 minute walk. Beach chairs, umbrellas and wagon could use replacing. We did not bring ours and ended up having to buy a couple of chairs. Overall nice condo and enjoyable stay.

Short distance from the beach

Overall, enjoyed the stay w/ a few minor hiccups. Needed to contact the owner for the Welcome Packet since it was not sent when stated it would be. Packet was sent via email shortly after contacting them. We were arriving 30 mins- 1 hour early. Asked if able to enter villa early, said "yes". However, upon arrival not able to get in. Once owner was contacted, was able to get in (10 mins prior to actual check-in time). Folly Field Beach area was a nice area to walk dog in the morning and evening. Needed to walk to other villa areas for dog to relieve herself, due to no grass near this villa. Not a big deal. Washing machine was on the brink and was not informed. (The machine could still be used, but needed to manually change cycles.) Only found out after trying to use the washing machine and needing to contact owner (said previous tenant overloaded it). Owner said not able to be fixed until after we left. No beach towels. Again owner had to be contacted. Beach towels were dropped off the day after we arrived. If you plan to do lots of cooking, just know there is minimal counter space. This did not bother us. If you like to read books while on the beach and have read all of your own, there were a few books in the living room cabinet with the games. Pool area was nice. During our stay, there were always pool chairs available when we went to the pool after spending time at the beach.

Convenient Condo with Short Walk to Beach

Property is very clean and is as described in listing, well-stocked with amenities down to ziploc bags and laundry detergent on site. It’s a short, easy walk to the beach and conveniently located near Shelter Cove for shopping, outings, groceries. We appreciated that the condo is pet friendly and we would definitely stay again.

This property was perfert. Ideal for a get-away. Very comfortable. Well appointed. The place had all the amenities. Conveniently located. Close to the stores, restaurants and easy beach access. Internet access worked well. Although if you expect to watch television, bring your streaming passwords with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to an opportunity to do it again.

Birthday week

Probably one of the best places we have ever rented. Everything was comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed, although we didnt cook much so we could enjoy eating at the many seafood restaurants on the water. The beach was not far, but we chose to drive to the public parking area just down the street. The boardwalk and matted beachwalk make it super easy to get to your spot on the sand. Our host Pam was very helpful and we appreciated all the info in the welcome packet. Sorry our week is over, but we plan to return!

With Dog vacation

Our Aussie loved walking to beach twice a day. Public beach had house for spraying sand off. By time got home was dry. Adults enjoyed walking to coconuts, too!

Folly Field Delight

This property is within walking distance to the beach. Our dog had a wonderful time running through the surf and the beach access had showers to rinse him off. The Condo was clean and well stocked. We were close to a great seafood store, so the kitchen was well used. We enjoyed sitting in the quiet backyard under the tree canopy. This is a lovely property.

Nice property

Very nice property. A short 5 minute walk to Folley Field Beach. Close to major roads. The unit was very clean. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided. We were not there in season to use the pool and beach weather was not great, but they have beach towels, chairs, toys and other accessories available for use. The kitchen is pretty well stocked, lots of appliances are stored in the pantry. We did not do much cooking, but if you are planning to cook a lot, the available counter space is limited. Owners responded in a timely manner to questions. This was our first trip to HH and it was recommended we stay in Sea Pines but we could not find a pet friendly place in Sea Pines when we were looking. I was quite happy with this unit instead. We did end up visiting Sea Pines and getting in and out of the development is a fairly long process with a backup of cars in both directions. We were there in March, I assume summer traffic would be worse. So I thought the location of this unit is great, much easier to access to other parts of the island. We did not end up taking our dog but they do provide a large crate and food/water bowls. Also, it is very clean for a dog friendly place. No animal smells or pet hair. We would stay there again.
