Great views and location

We had an amazing visit to Hilton Head! The view from the swivel chairs in the living room was our favorite place to relax, watch the sunrise and kickoff the start of some amazing days on the beach. The beach was wonderful, easy to access, tons of space and so active. The proximity of the unit to shops and restaurants was also great. We never needed to get in the car. It was an amazing trip, I would totally recommend.

Beware of stairs and 10 digit door code

I never write bad reviews but wish I would have known about this issue. Arriving after a long drive, my 84 year old dad and I, parked and loaded up the luggage cart only to find out the elevator was not working. Each section of 20 units has their own elevator, you can’t move from one section to the next. I called vacasa immediately and instead of informing me that it had been out of commission for over a week they told me someone would be right out. We walked up to the 4th floor only to find out the 10 digit door code did not work. After 20 mins on the phone we finally got the code to the lock box and the key to the door did not work. Finally 40 minutes later, we had a new 10 digit code. The unit was so nice, clean, and the views are amazing. The kitchen had everything you could ask for but the hike up the stairs to the 4th floor, 4 or 5 times a day really made it hard for my elderly dad. Just wish someone had been honest with us to let us know about the elevator problem. Also it’s very hard to remember a 10 digit door code! Occasionally vacations are meant to leave your phone in the condo and relax on the beach, but not when you have a 10 digit code. This is by no fault of the owners but vacasa, the property managers could have done better

Decent

Nice view. Nice location. Toilet ran all week. They sent a repair guy but he used the wrong chain size when he installed a new flapper so I had to fix it myself. Elevators were being repaired all week and we were on the 4th floor with a 7 months pregnant woman and a guy with asthma. Loading up to leave was a nightmare. Elevator repairmen started using a hammer drill every morning at 9 so that was wake up time like it or not. Not a very peaceful or restful trip but not all the owners fault. Just not worth 3500 hundred

Fantastic unit, terrible property management

Let me start by saying that the unit in really good, great location, great views and great amenities. Unfortunately, the A/C was not working when we arrived and it was 80 degrees inside the unit. I called the property manager VACASA and they never provided any assistance. I had to call the local technician myself and was up until 1:00 AM trying to get someone out to fix it, which unfortunately did not happen until the following morning. Needless to say it was not the best start to our vacation.

Beautiful View

This condo was exactly as described. View was beautiful and the place was overall clean and well maintained. The area and the condo itself felt very safe. Very family oriented. The property management was handled by Vacasa-the check in process was quick, however, I had a packet of info handed to me and I was quickly moved through-almost annoyed with the fact that I didn't know what to do or where to go. I texted a question before check out regarding the pool wristbands and it was clear that the answer I got was from someone not familiar with the specific location I was staying in. They also told me the room was ready and it wasn't --I showed up and the cleaner was still in the location along with their family. Overall I would stay here again, now that I know the location, the process and what to expect I assume the 2nd time will be even better!

HHI Family Vacation

The location of this property cannot be beat and the view with the large window in the family room is amazing! The pool was very nice as well. Our only negative is that some of the apartment is starting to show wear and tear. For example we could not use the screens to the patio as they were rusted and unusable, some of the items in the kitchen were no longer usable, our A/C went out during our stay and response to get this fixed was slow. Overall we would stay here again as the location and view cannot be beat.

Sisters trip to HHI. Great beach views and access. Wonderful condo with all you need for a comfy stay. Resort well maintained. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars. Plan to return!

Girls Weekend Away

We went for the weekend. We wanted ocean front close to Coligny Plaza so we could walk. The condo was beautiful and had a great time. Everything was clean and ready to go. I would stay again and soon! Thanks we loved the condo and HHI

Need to clean under the bed-disgusting!

The view was great but when we went to bed, I saw a dusty moving blanket sticking out from under the bed. I pulled it out and it was filthy and it looked like they had never cleaned underneath the bed. The floor was covered in dust bunnies. It was awful! Also, the sheets were very scratchy and uncomfortable. They need to update to a higher quality sheets and clean under the bed!

The view!!!!!

I was concerned the view would not be as good as the listing photos because they look “too good.” They’re real! My expectations were exceeded. The unit is very nice and most of the furniture looked newer or at least in nice shape, especially for a rental unit. The response was very positive when I reported a maintenance issue with the toilet and I think someone was there within an hour for repairs. I was new to VRBO and I have no regrets.

Our Shorewood Stay

The stay experience was great! Getting to the check-in location was difficult. It was a little challenging speaking to representatives not in the area. The check-in address had us confused and calling in for help made it worse. We had a local let us follow him. Thank goodness the office was still open. Over all it was great we will return!!!

Clean and close to everything

We had a great week staying at this property for a family vacation! The condo had an amazing view and was very clean. It was walking distance to everything. We were there during a very busy time and things were super crowded but there was still lots of space and the property was quiet.

Beautiful Condo

It was our first trip to Hilton Head and we were not disappointed. The condo was clean, well appointed and in a great location. We enjoyed watching dogs playing on the beach from the balcony while taking in the sun during our chilly January stay.
