Would book again

We love staying in Palmetto dunes. The place was the perfect spot for the family. Minutes from the beach and our favorite snack spot the Dunes house. Would definitely recommend it and stay again.

Great location!

Great unit in the Moorings, close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. Owners very responsive and nice to work with. We would definitely rent here again for future beach trips!

Great Stay!

We loved our stay! Don’t believe the other reviews, the place was clean. We stay in Palmetto Dunes 2-3 times a year and this was just as clean as any other house/condo. The location was great especially over a holiday weekend. Owners were extremely communicative and stayed awake for our late arrival (11pm) to ensure we got in OK. Could it use some updating? Sure…but I don’t go to the beach to hang out inside. We spent most of our time out and about with one rainy afternoon inside playing games at the dining room table. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for quick and easy access to the beach and amenities. Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect location beautiful condo.

We had the best time at this lovely condo. The location is perfect near Dunes House so we were able to rent chairs and not bring them with us. The condo is n Beautifully renovated and well equipped. Jon and Linda were very gracious hosts. Great at communication and hospitable. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Hilton Head Island was amazing! Jon and Linda were very accommodating for our family of four. Walking distance to the beach was excellent. Everything that was needed in the unit was there. Thank you for wonderful memories we will cherish and looking forward to another stay with you in the future!

Incredible Condo Close to Beach!

We had an amazing trip. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was just a two minute walk to the ocean. So close we made multiple back and forth trips with ease. We could not have been happier and will definitely book this space again. Thank you for providing such a beautiful place to stay!

Lovely March stay

Excellent location, lovely views of the grounds and pools, clean and comfortable and quiet condo with all the amenities. The location is ideal. Walking distance to restaurants, bike rental, beach, general store and golf. Bikes are the best way to get around. We have checked out different locations on Hilton Head and this one suits us best for its walkability to everything you need.

Great week on HHI

We had a wonderful time at this location in the Moorings. Not crazy about the steps but we all need exercise and it didn’t change the trip one bit!! The chairs in the living room were a bit u comfortable but no longer than we were in the condo we didn’t mind one bit!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Hilton Head peaceful little gem!

We stayed here over the busy Memorial Bank holiday and this place was in the mix of all the facilities but peaceful still. The place was clean, comfortable and functional. The communication also the the owner was top notch via text and he was super helpful. Everything is close enough to walk if you don’t want to be driving. We enjoyed our time here very much and would be keen to stay here again.

Affordable, next to quiet pool and close to beach

We enjoyed our stay at this property with our family of 5. There is plenty of space and having 3 bathrooms in rare. We especially loved the location- so close to the beach and Dunes Club, a very easy walk to the PD General Store, easy parking. Being next to the pool was a great bonus! The property is older and has some maintenance and functionality issues. The doors and cabinets stick considerably and there is peeling paint in kitchen and bathrooms. In my opinion, none of these things are dealbreakers and it is compensated for by the awesome location. What is important… the beds are comfortable, there is hot water and good pressure in the showers and a washer/dryer in unit (invaluable for families traveling with kids). I would stay here again for the location and affordability.

Maintenance Maintenance Maintenance. That's my review. We have stayed in the Moorings for the last 10 years and we love it there we know that for the most part some of the untits are out of date. This has never been a problem in fact it's mostly expected but in all of the untits we have stayed everything always works and if we have a problem it's fixed immediately. This time there was a whole lot of issues including tv not working on back bedroom where two adults slept and we have some rain so it would have been nice to have watched tv although with the furnace blowing a musty smell out couldn't breathe in that room anyway actually causing us to leave in the middle of the night before our stay was even up. There were more issues and we won't spend as much time on them like chairs on patio a 150lb adult could not sit in because of dry rot and them shredding as he sit down, shower heads spraying in al directions because they need cleaned or replaced, or lighting in kitchen and dinning room blinking like a strobe light at a night club from two separate fixtures. As mentioned before about room being hard to breathe enclosed is a picture of furnace filter that we check because of the black dust."we change ours at home once a month" carpet all stained in entrance to master bedroom. Also takes three people to get patio door closed on 2nd bedroom as stated before you can't air out so you can breathe. Honestly there is to much to list. Location is great as review before.

Time to update the furniture

The condo is in a great location but the furniture needs to be updated. There are rips in the pillows, tears in the patio chairs, the couch in the living room is very uncomfortable and dirty. The MBR mattress is horrible. We enjoyed our stay but it really needs to be updated. If it wasn’t for the furniture I would give more stars.

Great place for a family of four!

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay tremendously. Plenty of space for four of us. The kids (17 & 14) had their own room and beds which is always a plus. The third bathroom in the front hallway was a game changer. Jon was great to work with and very responsive. Location was perfect. Two minutes to the beach and right in the middle of all of the Palmetto Dunes action. Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome location

This property was so close to the beach. We walked to the beach multiple times a day. The pool was right beside the unit, very convenient.

Great property!

Overall, we had a great experience! Location is right near the beach and there is a nice little place right at the beach access called the Dunes House that you can get food and drinks. The property was very spacious and clean. We got in early and we’re able to get into the property early. The owners were very responsive and offered great information for the area.
