Home away from home

Just a short walk to the beach or the pool. Spotless accommodations with all of the appliances and cookware needed for our stay. Nice porch overlooking a lagoon with turtles and ducks.

Everything was beyond expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped with some basic seasonings. While the weather didn't cooperate, our adult daughter enjoyed the beach when she could. Barbara was a great hostess. cooperate, our adult daughter

A lovely property... close to the pool, and a short walk to the beach...both pool and beach were very accessible. Owner is amazing and communicative, she even messaged to check on us as the weather was bad. I would definitely use again

Great condo for vacation

This place was great. It had everything we needed. The place was clean. Very nice condo community. Great beach and nice pool. The gym was nice to have as well. Barb was easy to contact. I would highly recommend Barb’s place.

Beautiful condo, grounds, and beach

Location was convenient to surrounding community and to beach. The condo was clean and updated! Enjoyed our stay very much! Owner was always available for questions and was a great help to us. View of pond was relaxing and beautiful. Great place to stay!

Great place to stay, will definitely stay again!

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO and this is by far the best. The place was well stocked, and communication with the owner was seamless. If we had any questions or concerns the owner would answer us immediately. We liked that the beach was just a few steps away, bike rentals are on the property at the health club and the pool is very nice. We will definitely be back!

Hilton Head Stay

Everything was great and we enjoyed. However, the pool was down for a couple of days due to whatever, but I understand there was some mirky looking water which gave a little concern. Also, I understand the cleaning service needed a departure time, which I missed seeing on my email. However, when I'm on vacation, whatever the departure time is usually is the time I leave (in this case it was 10:00 a.m.). When the instructions give a departure time, I don't think, anyone should be coming to clean until after the time stated.

Beautiful condo!!

This condo was amazing. It was clean and had an amazing selection of kitchen items. Just a short walk to the beach and there were beach chairs and toys available to use. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to friends.

Perfect

This is our second time staying at this property in Hilton Head and it is our favorite. This unit is very close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. The unit is stocked with everything you need for a great vacation and even has beach toys and chairs. Beds and furniture were very comfortable! Barbara is the perfect host. She was accessible and super responsive. Thank you Barbara for providing a great place to stay!

Great location and facilities

I highly recommend this rental for the location, amenities, etc. I prepared all meals either in the villa's kitchen or at the community grilling area, because we were avoiding dining out during COVID-19 (I have an unvaccinated toddler). We had everything we needed - just bought groceries! The appliances all worked well, though be aware of the lengthy run times of the high efficiency washer and dryer. The villa is well-appointed and I give Barbara credit for renting with so many breakables in the living room. I was a bit on edge that my curious toddler would accidentally break something. I appreciated that there were extra beach toys in the closet, drying racks for bathing suits, etc. We enjoyed the two pools, playground, and grilling area. My 76 year old dad said it was the best beach he's ever been on. Barbara was very responsive to all questions and concerns. I followed her procedures to contact her upon arrival to note any issues/damage and communicated that the villa did not appear to have been fully cleaned prior to our arrival as the floors were noticeably sandy/dirty and there was a water bottle cap in the hallway. We also found a sock (probably from someone folding laundry) and a hair tie on the living room furniture. Apparently, the reservation had not been recorded in the Island Club Resort system properly and so there had been some scrambling behind the scenes on our day of check-in to get a service to come in and quickly clean. We arrived later in the evening, so we didn't see this overtime effort occurring around 5 PM. Barbara apologized for the issues and contacted the woman who regularly cleans for her. Caroline returned on Monday morning with two other people to help. They attended to the floors and did a general tidying up, as well. We just happened to experience this anomaly and I would be confident that all cleaning/sanitizing runs smoothly for future guests. I would not hesitate to stay again.
