House was clean. Had issues with the 2nd floor master BR AC not properly working. Did have maintenance onsite in a reasonable amount of time to correct. Oven not working and as we looked at past reviews this has been an ongoing problem for many, many months and would have hoped it would have been taken care of, but no such luck.

Great vacation home for large families

This place perfectly fit our 9 adults, 1 teen and 4 children under 4. The rooms were spacious, plenty of space for us all to hangout together. The kitchen was large and had almost everything we needed including dishes and utensils for the kids. We had some issues with the oven and dishwasher but nothing that was an immediate need to fix, I did note it at checkout though so hopefully it will be fixed in the future. There was plenty of bath towels/wash cloths and extra blankets. There was even a pack and play in one of the bedroom closets that was useful. The garage was equipped with 5 bikes, a beach wagon and another beach cart which came in handy. The walk to the beach was a l it take longer than we anticipated but it really wasn’t bad, we just had a lot to carry as well as someone in a beach wheelchair we needed to push down there. All and all it was a great place to stay and met all of our needs and we can’t wait to return.

Vacassa was not responsive to major issues

The range/stove, pool heater did not work for two days. Vacassa was not responsive to the issues. Air conditioning downstairs does not work and many of the exterior doors do not lock.

Horrible Management Company

We received a text before arriving stating that our stove was not working and someone would come out to fix it. Someone did arrive the next day to fix an outlet. We asked about the stove, he glanced at it and said it was broken. After that, it took a phone call each day and the stove was never fixed. We ended up having a broken stove and cooktop our whole stay. I did finally get a phone from a manager stating that we can put in a order to see if we could get compensation. We should automatically get compensation. We had 8 people staying at a house for 5 days without a working cooktop or stove. About two weeks later, I received a credit for $110 on my credit card. No one called or emailed me to let me know about this. And only $110?!!’ How did they come up with this amount? We had to plan meal’s carefully since we did not have a stove or cook top. Currently, it’s been 3 days and still no one has contacted me about the $110!!

Great location and layout of house

The location in Sea Pines was great. There was a short walking path to beach from the house that was only 5 mins. The layout of the the house was great. We had 3 families with teens that enjoyed the 2nd LR upstairs while the adults hung out on the main floor. Plenty of bedrooms and beds to give everyone their own space. Would stay here again.

Amazing Location, Great Updates to the property, Terrible property manager

The place has been updated and is a lot prettier than in the pictures. The kitchen was totally gutted and redone. The floors in the living room were all new. Everything worked unlike the other reviews. The place was clean, and the location inside sea pines is ideal. It was a short stroll to the beach. The only complaints werent about the property itself, but rather the property management company Vacasa. The management company told us the pool would be heated on 3 different occasions and never fixed that. They told us they would bring out new chair cushions for the outdoor chairs (Seagull poop), and they never did. All in all, the property was great for a family, but the management company needs to step their game up. I would stay there again if Vacasa wasnt the management company.

Great House

Great house, nice beach, pathway was a 5 minute walk. Plenty of room in the house for lots of guests, walk in bathrooms on two master bedrooms, tubs, stand in shower, and pool were all fantastic.

my opinion

OK, but a good walk to the beach. wife recently had knee replaced. Walkway from house to "path" needed some attention. overgrown with growth, and very uneven. couldn't find the shared Hot tub

Great location but disappointed with the house.

I truly loved the location of the house. Some of my concerns with the property were... Two bathrooms on the second level water didn’t drain in the tub and the room with the two full beds tub didn’t drain either. We showered in a puddle of water. Some Outlets didn’t work. No Pool lights didn’t turn on. The lamps in the second level full size bed bathroom didn’t not work so we only had the light from the bathroom. The house wasn’t cleaned there were spider webs in the kitchen on top of the cabinets, there were rappers of Charlie rancher candy by the bed. A lady can on Saturday to clean the pool when we checked in on Friday. And the back patio door didn’t lock.

Look Elsewhere in Hilton Head

From dirty floors and bathrooms to scratches on the walls, we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of this property. This property is completely run down and has not been maintained well enough to be serving as a rental property. It is clear that the owners stopped taking care of it a while ago. The floors were rotted and flimsy in several places (which they tried to cover with rugs), the oven would not close (we had to prop a chair against it in order to cook anything at all), one of the oven eyes did not work, the furniture was clearly run down, and several lights throughout the home did not work (or the bulbs hadn't been replaced). The pots, pans, etc. in the kitchen also left much to be desired (not one baking sheet, except one that didn't fit in the oven). There were nails in walls throughout the house that appeared to have previously held artwork. Outside, the landscaping was not maintained either. Specifically, the path to the beach was overgrown with palm trees, which were difficult to push out of the way without getting hit in the face when walking down to the beach with armfuls beach chairs, toys, etc. Needless to say, we were not pleased with the property's condition, especially considering the price we paid for the week. The only upside to the property was the location. It is nestled just inside of the beautiful Sea Pines community and is a short 5-minute walk from the beach. We found beach access very easy (aside from the overgrown path) and appreciated the outdoor shower by the pool. I would recommend you look elsewhere in Hilton Head.

The home is perfectly located, a 5 minute walk to the beach. Comfortable, roomy, Needs new appliance

There are a few things VRBO should be aware of: The trash came only once a week so the cans are full. They did not come in Thursday. The dishwashing machine has a lot of broken pieces, it works but the rack is broken on the top and the wheels are broken on the bottom and we think it should be replaced. The stove does not shut properly, and it needs to be cleaned. It also has some areas that are very rusty. The dryer for the clothes only works well on the timer, it does not work well with the other settings. The sink of the bathroom at the front entrance drips if it is not turned off properly. The chair cushions outside, which you power washed, were only power washed on one side, the other side is still dirty and the back of the cushions are quite dirty as well. The garage was filled with stuff all over, we moved it all to the back of the garage but it’s pretty messy and dirty. The kitchen needs new mitts and more spoons. Many of the plates are cracked. We bought a new coffee machine because the one they had was old and rusty. When we arrived at the house, every thing in the kitchen was dirty - the dishes, the pans, the silverware, the glasses, all had food, stains, and were not usable, we had to wash It all. Overall the house is very nice and well located and we had a lovely time but the home should have been cleaned much more Thoroughly, inside and out. I would also make sure the bedspreads are washed, which they weren’t.
