Good location, place is okay

The view of the beach is amazing and the pool was great for kids. Property was well maintained and they were very responsive when we had questions. However, we didn't love the unit. The layout was good, but needs a lot of updating, carpet felt old and bathrooms are old, had an old smell and had to air it out when we got there. Beds were fine. The main bathroom we were told was causing a leak downstairs and so we couldn't use it but the communication was lacking on the issue so we just avoided it. Be aware of the check in details - you have to go to a building to get your car pass and it wasn't super clear without clicking on a link and scrolling down to find the right information.

Another Great Stay at Palmetto Dunes

Great property with plenty of space, spectacular ocean views and everything we needed for our getaway. The condo was extremely clean and well organized. Fantastic find.

The condo unit was perfect, Dealing with Vacasa was not

We loved the condo we stayed it. Comfortable, clean, well appointed. Great location with a beautiful view of the ocean. Our stay was wonderful. Our family had a great time. But I would not book a Vacasa managed property if I could avoid it. Their customer service was terrible at best. We were told to go to the Vacasa office upon arrival to pick up a guest package which turned out to be the parking pass-essential for entry into Palmetto dunes. The office was locked and even though I saw 2 people inside they would not answer the door. I called and was was told to go directly to Palmetto dunes to pick up passes at the security office. That was not the case. So we had to return to the Vacasa office again (with a fussy toddler and infant). This time we realized there is a late arrival box where we finally found the passes. This was at 2pm in the afternoon. I did not consider this a late arrival, so it didn't occur to me to look here first and I was not told that is where the passes would be. It was a Sunday but this a is vacation management company-shouldn't they we on hand during the day? In addition, they only provided 2 trash bags for a 5 night stay. Seriously? It was a 3 bedroom condo that can sleep 6. We had 4 adults and 2 little ones. They provided only 2 dishwasher pods for the 5 day stay. I'm sure I'll be using VRBO again to books stays but if I see it is managed by Vacasa I will avoid staying at that property.

Relaxed comfortable stay

The unit was well equipped, pretty and comfortable. Pool was nice with lots of places to relax.. Balcony ocean view was lovely. Check-in was a little tiresome after travel to have to pick up the parking pass at an off-site location. We had a great vacation experience.

Perfect for our Family

This worked out just right for our family. This is a beautiful 3BR condo with terrific views overlooking the beach and ocean. A great place to watch sunrise on the balcony each morning as you sip your coffee. There was more than ample space in the common areas for everyone to find a comfortable seat and each BR has it's own bathroom. Most condos this size have at least one of the bedrooms with twin or even bunk beds but to have a king in the master and a queen bed in each of the other two room were just right for us and our adult children to enjoy our time together in comfort. We'd gladly stay here again.

Beautiful condo and perfect location

We absolutely loved staying at this property! The condo was beautiful, clean, and a perfect layout. The views from the living area and two bedrooms were gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again! One suggestion: due to noisy neighbors in the middles of the night had me wishing for the phone number for Palmetto Dunes Security to call for assistance. It didn’t seem to merit a call to the police, and the property manager did attempt to help, but I wish we had the number for local resort security for some in-person assistance. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this condo.

Just what we expected!

Park the car and enjoy five nights at the beach. Weather was great and accommodations were most satisfactory. This location is an ideal location on HHI and we’ll be back.

Absolutely perfect view!

We loved our stay at this property. It was exactly as listed the rooms were spacious and plenty of seating and view was stunning. Loved the amenities and proximity to pool and ocean. A few things to note if you plan on staying… bring your own coffee filters, salt and pepper, dishwasher/laundry detergent, and maybe even some extra dish towels. We ate in almost every meal so we probably used kitchen more than most but it would’ve been nice to have a few more things provided for our stay like aforementioned items.

Very pleased, will stay again in this unit

There were five of us staying here and we all agreed it was one of the best condos we had ever stayed in at Hilton Head. We enjoyed the balconies with the lovely views of the ocean and the osprey's in the tree out front. The property was clean and the kitchen very well stocked. We did have a few plumbing problems but maintenance resolved them very quickly.

Perfect HHI condo

Beautiful condo. Views are amazing. Great location. Loved everything except the elevator situation. It was broken down 3 times during the week including check out day. We were on the 4th floor and had to make 5 trips up and down the stairs on check out day. 😩

Great view!

We did love the view and the rooms. Would have been nice to have better service to ask questions about the island. No beach towels were provided. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and easy to get to the beach.

Awesome location and property

This property was just as all the reviews said--excellent. For Covid we had contactless entry and it was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked, layout was just as pictured with amazing views, beds were comfortable. It was great walking the beach, renting bikes, and enjoying the hot tub. We felt very safe moving our quarantine to this property for a week. As others have said, bring your own beach towels if you want them. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Holiday

Roomy 3 BR condo with terrific indoor / outdoor spaces

Great condo with 3 real bedroom and 3 corresponding bathrooms. Each bedroom had nice closets and a chair - ideal for online school and work. Also three covered balcony’s with beach views - lovely for morning coffee, afternoon squalls and outdoor dinner.

Beautiful Condo Right on the Beach

We loved this beautiful, bright condo, which worked perfectly for our group of 5 adults and 1 infant. We had plenty of space for the adults to spread out and for our little guy to roam. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast each morning, and the walk from the front door to the beach was just a few minutes. The location is central and close to many restaurants, which was great for us since we chose to pick up dinner each night rather than eat out due to COVID. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable

This is a great condo that is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had six adults in our party and there was plenty of room in the common areas to accommodate all of us. The location was very convenient and of course the ocean view was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.
