The location was perfect for us. I liked that it was a one floor layout. Big living room space with a nice outdoor area. We brought our dog and she settled in well and loved the walk to the beach. Close to golf and restaurants. Woukd stay here again. The downside, no salt and pepper. No cooking oil.

The home was great for a family thanksgiving getaway. It was comfortable, and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us, plus 1 dog. It was clean. We could open the front and back doors and have a nice breeze through the living room. The only thing that would have made it better would be improved shower heads. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

We originally planned to bring our dog, but decided not to. The condo is on a beautiful lot, end unit. I really dont think you could beat it for spacious and location. You do have to drive to the beach. Nice area to park and shower off. All in all 5 star.

Another great stay here. Found a broken tile in the bathroom, which we reported, but was not a big deal. This property is close to shopping and grocery needs. We enjoyed our stay enough that we already booked next year.

Great pet friendly stay

We were pleasantly surprised with this unit. It was clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of four and our dog. The location is excellent, right across from the pool and tennis courts and a very short drive (or walk) to the beach access. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would definitely seek this property out for our next visit!

Fabulous location in Palmetto Dunes

Great property, end unit with amazing views of canal and golf course, tennis courts steps away, close to golf and beach, easy parking. We really enjoyed staying there. Bike trails everywhere and easy place to walk around.

Nope!

Interior of condo, while having a good layout, has not been updated in years. Fixtures, finishes and furnishings are low end, worn, and definitely not in the class of other properties we’ve leased in Palmetto Dunes. I appreciate being able to bring our mini goldendoodle, but didn’t realize the sacrifice in quality we would be making with this property. There are definitely much better properties that provide a better value.

Extended Weekend Get-Away

The property was comfortable, the pool was across the street and we enjoyed the deck. We had a couple small issues but nothing that would prevent us from returning. The pool across the street didn’t include hot tub as pictured and no map of the complex was provided to locate the second pool easily. A map would have also helped with figuring out best access to beach, called vacasa and they couldn’t help. The guard at the gate was able to assist and very friendly. Also the pool and tennis codes we were given were incorrect, vacasa did assist with providing the correct code.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this place. The only negative experience we had was finding a brown spider on the Master Bathroom toilet (I have a photo if you want me to send it to you) and there were no AAA batteries in the remote so we could not access Netflix. Nancy Jacobs

Great Location!

Palmetto Dunes Plantation, I believe, is the best plantation on the island, having vacationed on the island on and off for more than 30 years. The condo was very nice and being an end unit made it even better! We will look to visit in the same location or one similar on our next trip.

Great place for comfort & location for your Hilton Head vacation

Perfectly comfortable for our family of five. Comfortable beds, linens, well-equipped & nice view with the deck being right on the lagon....even able to sit there at night with no bug spray! Great location to everything too.

Cozy and easy access

Clean and with everithing you need for a confortable vacations, there is a private beach that you can have access by walking. The public beach is not far a way 10 mnutes driving both are beautiful . We will rent this condo again! Thanks for helping us have a wonderful family time.

Disappointed

The resort we stayed in (Palmetto Dunes) was great! Everyone was so nice, and the scenery was amazing. We will stay in the resort again, just not this condo. It wasn’t very clean, beds very uncomfortable, felt like there were hospital sheets on the bed. The pillows were flat, carpet was pretty dirty, but there was a lot of dust built up on everything. Tvs, wall plugs, fans. You have to pick the key up a few miles away, but instead of being able to leave the key in the condo, we had to drive it back to the offices, which is very inconvenient as they require you to check out at 10 (the maid was already there when we left). The listing shows check out is at 11, but we were informed when we picked up the key it was in fact 10. We wanted to spend more time on the island. There was a pool within walking distance, but no one at Vacasa could give us the correct code for the gate, it also did not have a hot tub as was advertised. Very disappointed. 2 stars because the resort was very nice and they give you a discount card to use at some places around the area.
