Summer 2025

Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The condo was very nice and cozy. The beach was a short walk but they had a beach cart to carry the chairs. Very accommodating.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was as pictured and had all the things we needed for the beach the walk to the beach was quick and we were able to bike to many restaurants/shops.

Oyster Bay at HHI

Great place. Owner has provided everything possible to make every guest happy! From the beach cart and supplies to the wonderfully stocked kitchen, this place is a quiet plush complex that feels like a resort. Walk to beach is very doable and we loved the live music at the loggerhead bar at the Alder beach access. Even our dog loved it. Very pet friendly.

Lovely Villa

Two week get away to our favorite place to stay on Hilton Head Island. Great location close to one of Three pools, short walk to the beach and Coligny retail area. This villa was clean, well appointed with everything we needed. We loved the two screened in porches and spent a lot of time there.. Highly recommend.

Family Vacation - had a blast!

So conveniently located to the beach- we LOVED the amenities provided in regards to beach supplies. The wagon, chair, and sand toys were all used multiple days in a row. Great location and excellent response time from owner. We would come back!!!

Nice getaway

My husband and I went to Hilton Head with friends. We found the layout of the villa to be perfect for privacy. Each bedroom was on separate ends. The walk to the beach wasn’t super close but we knew the approximate distance as Bernie had given us details of the closest beach access and one a few crosswalks down.The distance wasn’t a deal breaker at all, about 10 minutes walking once you got on the sand.Communication with Bernie was perfect. We had a minor issue with the door lock and he responded immediately and addressed the issue in a very timely manner. Distance to The Bank (indoor/outdoor food hall) as well as Coligny Circle was walkable. Some may have found it a haul however we thought it was fine.Overall we enjoyed our time.

Beach getaway

Our Short getaway to Hilton head was a success. We thank Bernie, the owner of the property for the great communication. It was a great and relaxing time before my sister and I heading off to Charleston for surgery.

Vacation cut short

The property is beautiful. Clean and well stocked. Plenty of supplies for the beach. Unfortunately due to Tropical Storm Debby we had to cut our vacation short. If I was to return, I would definitely re-rent this property.

Enjoyed our stay

The condo was clean and met all expectations. The provided beach equipment was very appreciated and in good shape. Furniture and beds were comfortable. It was nice to have two screened in areas. The pools were nearby and we were able to easily walk to the beach and Coligny area.

Amazing location walking distance to the beach

We had an amazing time. It was great coming back to our home away from home. Communication was spot on with no issues whatsoever. I would recommend to others if you want a very cozy and comfortable place to staye at Hilton Head

5 days stay

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay! The proximity to the private beach was great, being about an 8-10 minute walk. Not bad, especially using the provided beach cart & wagon. We also utilized the provided umbrella, chairs, & boogie boards. Condo was nicely laid out with comfortable bedding, outdoor patios. Access to the pool & tennis court was convenient. There were a few questionable characters there the first few days staying on property. They were lingering around the walkway & then again near the pool. And we could smell marijuana on our last evening. I utilized the washer/drier & the dishwasher— all of which worked well. Could use a better stock of spices or even better, a spice rack. I did not receive any dishrags, just 3 dish towels, but I was able to manage with those. Back sliding patio door did not lock, which was somewhat concerning, but they at least had a security rod. There is no grill at the condo or on property. Bummer not knowing this bc I had to cook hamburgers indoor. We had an issue upon check-in, not receiving the checkin email, but Bernie was very quick to respond & send me the info we needed.

A great week at Bernie’s!

We had a great week at Bernie’s! It was me and 2 teenagers and we had plenty of space to be together and get some alone time if needed. The condo was very clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed in a lot of beach places and this one really had everything you need for a vacation with ease. Bernie was awesome at answering my questions and accommodating any requests. The walk to the beach isn’t bad and is mostly shaded and the beach is great. The pool is steps out the door and we really enjoyed the screened porch. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Perfect Beach Condo

This condo was exactly what we were looking for. Loads of supplies for beach days (chairs, towels, wagon) and easy walking distance to beach, shopping and restaurants. The screen porch was awesome! Great for morning coffee and evening chill time. The kitchen was well supplied and the place was very nicely decorated and accommodating. The owner was very helpful and friendly, providing lots of good information though email before our arrival, during our stay and in a binder at the condo. It was perfect place for our family vacation and we will definjtely be back!

Great Stay!

Bernie’s place was amazing! The two screened in porches were a perfect way to start our day, reading and enjoying the sounds of nature. Both the beach and Coligny Plaza were short walks away. The location couldnt have been better! Bernie was great to communicate with, offering lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We had a great time, and would definitely come back!

Cross Breeze delight!

Our first time to Hilton Head was amazing! The condo truly was only a few-minute bike ride to the beach and a pleasant walk as well. We spent almost every morning biking up and down the beach. Coligny Park was also within biking distance. The condo is nicely situated to get around the island easily. Bernie was very responsive and pleasant to chat with! The condo is actually even better than the photos. You can open the sliding doors on either end and have a wonderful breeze all day! The screen porches were our favorite! When we were tired out from our daytime adventures we enjoyed watching our Netflix shows and the kids could watch theirs in their own room. As a disabled veteran with chronic back and hip pain, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the mattress was! This is usually a big struggle on vacations for me. I didn't need the extra mattress pad that I brought along! We have decided we will definitely come back and stay here again. 100% loved it!

Would not rent this unitt again because of licatiom.

Owner addressded issues prompty. Parking was at a premium, duting what we considerrd the off season. After arrival we disvobered we had to walk the distance of a footbsll field plus hauling luggahe and groceries. We are not young people and found it difficult. Upstairs neighbors had two boisterios children and were noisy untill late into the night.

South Forest Beach

Celebrated my 50th and it was awesome. The place was great....close to the beach and downtown..the sitting areas off the kitchen were perfect for nighttime chats. Bernie, our host was also awesome!! He was available for every question, patient, and kind.

Pleasantly Surprised

The family and I planned a last minute get way in Hilton Head. The communication with host was immediate. Because it was last minute booking, I was worried that might have problems during check in, but everything was taken care of. The place is much larger than the online pictures. It was clean and set up nicely. The kids are on one side of the home and parents in another which was nice. Location is quick walk to beach.
