Great beach location, spacious house

Our 3- generation family of 14 thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home and its close-proximity to the beach! The furnishings are well appointed in each room, the grandkids especially enjoyed both bunk bed rooms! The elevator worked fine and was a plus for bringing luggage up/down, groceries etc. We loved the ping pong table and the basketball game, spent hours competing against each other—fun! The property manager Pam was very responsive and helpful. The ice maker in the refrigerator wasn’t working well so she had an ice making machine dropped off to us right away. (FYI, There is no can opener and the jets don’t work in the Bathtub with the green bedspread bunk beds)

Beautiful home but too many small problems

We arrived at check in time but cleaners were still there. Turns out they had a lot of work because of previous renters. Inside was immaculate but outside the previous renters left watermelon rinds, banana peels , candy wrappers, trash. T He elevator was not working so we had to carry all bags, groceries, etc up all stairs. Freezer in refrigerator didn’t work right away so ice cream melted. One half house had no hot water. Tv remotes did not work and main tv remote turned on upstairs TVs… they were all synched together.Metal gate on driveway almost fell so we zip tied it. In other words beds, baths, kitchen living areas were great… spacious and clean and location of house was great….but so many problems we had to tell property managers about. It became a pain to keep complaining.

Nice House - Good Service

House is lovely, location is great and while we didn't require much interaction from the property manager, she reached out to us a few times to be sure we were happy. Overall, a good trip and I would have nothing but positive comments about Island Time.

Great Home for family gathering

We had a wonderful time at this property . Bunk rooms are great for kids . Well stocked with most dishes . We did have some issues with several appliances , dishwasher , ice machine in fridge & cooktop is a little tricky . Island Realty was quick to send someone out to fix the problems . Would like to mention Brenda at Island Realty - she was great !! Answered many questions & a pleasure to talk to !! Brian was also very helpful with some of the issues .

Burke's Beach beauty

We stayed in this home for the weekend of our son's wedding. It was very convenient to the wedding venue and the house was amazing! More than plenty of room for the 16 of us! Every bedroom had a private bathroom. All the rooms were comfortable and roomy with king size beds. The bunk bed rooms were even a hit! Queen over queen and double over double. One worked well for a family of five and the other for single adults. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room to move around and enjoy being with each other! The pool was in the front of the house which was a little different, but the kids enjoyed swimming in it each day! There was a game room downstairs that we all enjoyed- ping pong and basketball! I definitely recommend this wonderful home for multiple families and friends of all ages to stay. The property manager was wonderful and helped us with any questions we had! I would love to stay there again!

Family Beach reunion

Nice spacious clean house, lots of rooms and place for storage. Induction stove top is very confusing and some pots and pans weren't working on this specific stove top. The pots and pans are not non stick. Would be nice to have small pans. Had few different maintenence issues but with Pams help and my husband being handy we were able to fix most of the issues. Great grill with all necessary tools. Small but fun pool and other available games for kids, teens and young adults. It was useful to have 2 washers and dryers and beach towels. Very handy beach gears. Ice maker wasn't working and we weren't able to fix it, very inconvenient since we all love ice.

Good stay but sometimes I don’t like to go improvements needed

This house was in a great location, a few minute walk to a great beach, house had lots of space for gathering and spacious rooms; a few areas of much needed improvement are that the outdoor balconies on different levels were quite dirty and run down, one even had a screen door laying on ground, furniture on those balconies really need to be replaced for the cost of this rental; stairs leading to pool have holes in it and bees and wasps live in those and are buzzing around, some of the balcony doors have warped locks and don’t lock, property management needs more updated info; they said there are no beach towels provided but there are 25 beach towels for use and a sign that says you are free to use if you wash, dry out them away after use. We liked the pool but it is extremely small.

Wonderful house!

What a wonderful house! The layout was perfect for our group of 15, with the combination of king bedrooms and bunk rooms. The house was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Everyone remarked how comfortable the mattresses were. And 2 washers and 2 dryers! Parking in the garage and in the driveway was available. The beach is a short walk down a path across the marsh. The management company did a great job in addressing any concerns we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful AND Spacious

This home was beautifully decorated and had soooo much space. Everyone had their own bedroom AND private bathroom. The beds were comfy and the linen and towels were soft (and smelled good). Open kitchen concept was great for our Thanksgiving group and dinner. The downstairs basement/garage with basketball game and ping-pong table was a plus. 3 vehicles comfortably fit in the garage (Traverse on one side and Honda and small SUV on the other side). We were literally right at the beach - it was only a very short walk down the street and boardwalk. Restaurants and shops are very close. The only thing that would have made it better is if the elevator was working. There are 3 floors with lots of stairs, and the oldest in our group was 85, so this made it a little difficult for her. Nevertheless, everyone loved the home and said they would definitely return. Kudos to the cleaning team, because we’re a tough crowd when it comes to cleanliness, and this place was not only clean, but smelled fresh!

This property by far exceeded our expectations. This is a beautiful house in a very nice location. Everything in the house was clean and functional. We couldn’t ask for better property management. They were professional and friendly. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Family Beach House

WE loved staying in this home. The photos accurately portray the home. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with great cooking items including a great blender and electric griddles. It also had a nice toaster over/air fryer combination. The house also comes with lots of beach toys, chairs, umbrella and canopy. One slight deficiency is that no toiletries (shampoo and conditioner) were provided in the bathrooms. It would have been good to know that they weren't provided ahead of time. The kitchen has lots of dishes, utensils and pots and pans but other than salt and pepper, no pantry items were provided. Overall, we LOVED our stay and would come again!

Beautiful house

The home was beautifully updated with comfortable linens & furniture and extremely clean upon check in. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything one could need. The beach access is a short walk from the home. The property manager, Kenneth, was attentive and addressed needs as they arrived. A few things to be aware of. We booked this home with the understanding there was an ocean view. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. New construction across the street is in full swing with lots of contractors coming and going. Luckily it was mostly interior work and not extremely loud. Construction happens but we wish we were informed of the situation more than a week before check in. Also the bottom “basement level” is a garage. It is not temperature controlled. We enjoyed the basketball and ping pong but it is a hot garage with little air flow. The pool is in the front ( directly across from the construction) and very small. Our young children (age ranges 3-8 yrs) we’re not effected but teenagers and adults would be uncomfortable if using at the same time. Lastly there were multiple wasp nests on the deck and outdoor furniture. It was a problem especially with young children outdoors. Our 3 year old eventually was stung. Kenneth was attentive and sprayed twice along with a professional exterminator during our week stay. We do think this is something that could have been eliminated or minimized under regular routine maintenance.

Stunning house with a poor view

We spent one week in this beautiful house. The house is stunning and the inside looks exactly what it looks like on the photos. The house is super spacious and had more than enough space for our family of 16 people. The many balconies, living room areas, game rooms and spacious bedrooms were all very much appreciated. The beds were super comfortable and the linens soft and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and the house looked freshly painted and super clean. The kids enjoyed the downstair area with the basketball game, and the pingpong table. It was awesome that the house provided beach chairs, beach towels, two wagons and a beach tent. What a service. Burkes Beach is only a two minute walk away and super nice. Unfortunately the view of this house is very disappointing. When we booked the house, we saw photos showing that we would have an unobstructed view to the ocean. This is not the case. Right in front of the house is a huge construction site which we were not aware of. A new, taller house is built right across the street which blocks all the view. So if you were hoping to sit on the balcony or see any of the ocean view that you can still see on some of the pictures if you look closely, this is not accurate. The construction site is a busy and you can occassionally hear banging and trucks passing by. As the pool is right in front of the house you can't really relax as there is a construction going on just across the street with men passing by all day long while you are laying at the pool, even on Sundays. We emailed the owner and all he did was to delete the ocean view pictures from his listing. He didn't address our concerns or get back to us at all. This was very disappointing, especially knowing how much we paid for this house to have a place with ocean view. So if you are looking for a comfortable house without an ocean view and don't mind being in front of a construction site, then this house is very comfortable. But if you want some peace and some beautiful views, this is not the house to go to.

Super Nice!!

The house was beautiful with lots of space. The furnishings were upscale and very comfortable. The property managers/owners were very hospitable, attentive to needs, and every attempt was made to help us have a pleasant vacation. The location is close to the beach with only a short walk to access it.

Beautiful Home Great Location

We rented this property for a law firm conference but brought our family along. The house was beautiful! The kids rooms were so much fun. We enjoyed the gaming area and the endless porches off of each room. The best part, literally steps from the beach! We will absolutely stay here again!
