Disappointed Arrival
After traveling 10 hours, we were unable to get into the property because the door lock was not working. We told the children they could go swimming while we waited for property management company. We were horrified when we went into the backyard. The pool was so green with algae you could not see the steps or bottom of the pool. We could not use the pool until Wednesday afternoon. The front door was so swollen that the door would never close properly. The dishwasher door would not close properly and the master bath toilet kept running. The temperature in the master bedroom was 76 degrees and the children’s room was freezing. Sliding doors to porch would not slide cleanly.
Dishwasher was repaired on Tuesday and maintenance did what they could with the sliding door. Nothing was provided by the property management company to make amends for so many issues. Certainly not what I expected for the amount we paid for a week. We have been to Sea Pines with other rental companies several times and we never had so many issues.
