My family and I were very pleased with the property as it was exactly what was advertise and even more. There was plenty of space and we especially enjoyed the very well stocked kitchen being a cooking family. We were blessed with wonderful weather that allowed us to enjoy both the pool and beach. It was a very relaxing and quiet retreat for us and one we look forward to doing again. Thank you!

Family Christmas

The home was perfect for a family Christmas. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a good supply of bath towels.The house was clean, the elevator an added extra and the family had a good time playing billiards. The view is wonderful and it was nice walking the beach. I would highly recommend this rental.

Great place, but plan ahead...

We loved our stay at the beach front property! There were 10 of us for the first week of October. You could not beat the location! However, there are some important things to consider, and some we did not know until we were actually staying at the house. 1. The pool heat was WELL WORTH the money spent! Get it! 2. Beach chairs are not supplied. This would be a great idea to offer as a perk since the house holds so many people who will use the beach. 3. There are two drawers filled with knives, plus a knife block, but none of them are sharp. Bring your own if you are a cook. 4. There are NO supplies for cooking like salt and pepper, spices, oils, cooking spray, foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, etc. We had to purchase all of those and were not permitted to leave any behind for the next guests. If you are guest who flew to the destination, you won't want to cart all of those home in your luggage, so you just end up throwing them away. It would be very helpful to have a small stash of these items. Eliminate one knife drawer for these complimentary items. 5. The thermostat is not allowed to go below 70 degrees. There are fans in most bedrooms (but not living/great room), but not all were working (I did not know this until after we left or I would have contacted the management company, which is very responsive). However, the fans were not adequate to cool the rooms to the sleeping temperature that we are accustomed which is 68-69 degrees. 5. You cannot open any windows. Maybe this was an oversight, but all handles are removed from the twist open windows. We would have loved to be able to open a window or two to get the cool night air in our rooms. Seems pretty important in case of fire that windows be able to open for escape. I would be surprised if this absence of window handles met fire code.

Family vacation

The house was nice with plenty of space for the 14 of us. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken throughout our stay. I made two calls to the property manager, and a repairman came midweek, but without resolution. I did not get any follow up from the manager. I rented the house because of the elevator, given an elderly family member who can not readily climb the stairs. Disappointed that communication was not better. Have had better experience with other rental management in HH previously, and would probably choose to stay with a different rental company in the future.

It’s a great house and location. But need few things to be updated.

It’s a beautiful house and an awesome location. But house needs some simple updates, like new living room furniture and some better bedding and better bed sheet. The bedsheet were very rough. When someone is spending so much money for one night expects simple things to be more elegant. Master bedroom is really nice but bathrooms have white lights. It’s ruins the classy taste of bathroom. It needs better bedding too. Would suggest to leave 1 pouch for each day washing detergent and may be 2 dishwasher soap for each day. It’s inconvenient to buy all these. And when travel you forget to pick it up. Also need a better larger size non stick. Location is great. We all enjoyed the house!!

60 and fabulous!!

Ten women who have been friends since high school got together for our 60th birthday! The house was amazing and the location to the beach was phenomenal. All of the rooms had their own bathroom with either king size beds or 2 beds in each room. Their were 2 queen rooms as well. The elevator was good for loading and unloading cars. My only suggestion for this property would be that beds need anupgraded mattress pad..

Family vacation

Property location was fantastic! Well equipped kitchen as well as beach chairs, bogie boards, etc. It is advertised as sleeping 21. We originally were to have 20, but because of the virus we only had 15. We were very comfortable, but it would have been crowded with 20.

This review would be a pure 5 were it not for the following few issues that bring it down to a 4.8: 1) We had to remove about five roaches from the house- one in a bathroom, 2 in bedrooms, and 2 in the basement 2) Judging from the condition of the tub grout, the bathroom in the top floor front bedroom was probably not part of the recent renovations. 3) The exterior trash door is very hard to close snugly. 4) The TV, with its dual remotes, could use some written instructions. 5) The end of the beach ramp could use a rail. Otherwise, the house and its location are a pure gem. It was very comfortable, well appointed, and well equipped...certainly one to consider for future rental. The centrum pool accessory kept the pool at a perfect water level and perfect temperature.

Best Rental House to Date!

My large family gets together for a beach trip in Hilton Head every summer for the past 6 years and this house was everyone's favorite to date. The renovation is beautiful and the layout of the house is very convenient. The kitchen layout in particular was praised repeatedly on our vacation. Our family does a lot of cooking and there was enough counter space for multiple chefs. We were also impressed at how well the AC works for such a big house. The management team was responsive and quick to help. The pool was great and of course the beach access was very easy. If we didn't grow out of this house we'd use it every year from here on.

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for our extended family of eleven. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed. The location was excellent. The were many walking and biking trails nearby and a park with ball fields, dog park, basketball court, tennis courts, and playground for the children. The beach area was great. Beautiful views! There were a few things that we thought could be improved upon concerning the house. Generally, we would have preferred brighter lighting in the house. Some of the bedrooms had only lamps which made them feel darker than we would have liked it. The den and kitchen area had recessed lighting which was nice but needed to be brighter. The was no fan or light above the stove which we needed. Some of the bed mattresses were uncomfortable and a few of the beds were too short for our adult family members. Those few things being said, we will return to Hilton Head and use VRBO again. Communication was excellent and everyone with the company was very accommodating. Thank you! We had a great time!

Nice property for a large family

The home has lots of sleeping space and 2 sitting areas. The kitchen is a little worse for wear, but everything worked. The rental agency was very responsive to bring glasses when we found out there were not enough. The beach front is fabulous and private compared to rest of Hilton Head. I would come here again.

This was a very disappointing experience! The house was recently purchased, and the new owners had not had time to do the MANY updates needed to make it worth the money. Many broken, worn,and dirty things in the house
